Optimización en la distribución de rutas de colegios privados en Pereira con ayuda de algoritmos de inteligencia artificial

En este proyecto se realizó o una investigación de los distintos algoritmos utilizados para resolver el problema de enrutamiento de vehículos, VRP, con el fi n de facilitar esta tarea a los encargados de rutas en los colegios privados de la ciudad de Pereira. de acuerdo a los resultados encontrados y al conocimiento en algoritmos se eligieron dos para llevarlos a una aplicación con la que se puede optimizar la distribución de rutas para un mapa, un conjunto de estudiantes y unas rutas dadas, minimizando los recorridos basados en la distancia geográficamentre los estudiantes. Los algoritmos de inteligencia artificial usados fueron el Gen ético y el Recocido Simulado (Simulated Annealing). Se realizaron pruebas con dos colegios privados, el Liceo Taller San Miguel y el Saint Andrews, ubicados en la v ía a Armenia y en la vía a Cerritos respectivamente, las dos zonas con mayor concentración de colegios privados de la ciudad. Se identificaron las mejores configuraciones y combinación de los algoritmos dados y se pudieron observar resultados satisfactorios en la medida en que no se logran identificar mejoras

Difficulties in the application of the speaking strategies in the new curricular transformation in 11th grade students at Pablo Antonio Cuadra Institute, Esquipulas, during the second semester 2010

This research studies the difficulties in the application of the speaking strategies in the new curricular transformation in 11th grade students at Pablo Antonio Cuadra Institute, during the second semester 2010 in Esquipulas city. Its purpose is to analyze the difficulties that exist in the application of the speaking strategies in new curriculum, especially in 11th grade students from this Institute. Speaking is important for learners, because the spoken language is the heart of much human interaction, at home, at work, and in the society; furthermore, English is the universal language; so it is important in all contexts in which learning takes place. The approach of the new curricular transformation is communicative approach and the fundamental purpose is to support the pedagogical labor, making the dedicate planning easy for obtaining successful results in the classroom, taking into account the teacher´s experience, students´characteristics and didactic resources. Actually it is not easy to keep a total control when there are forty or more students in a classroom, because it is difficult to catch the attention to all of them when a specific group distracts to other, and the teacher can not give individual attention, besides they are afraid to speak English, but the motivation is the key to make students able to speak English. Another of the biggest problem in Nicaraguan learners is the lack of practice speaking, because all the time students are speaking their native language, and they never have the chance to speak English and improve it. El uso del libro de texto de Historia de España en Bachillerato: diez años de estudio, 1993-2003, y dos reformas (LGE-LOGSE)

Este trabajo presenta los resultados del uso que se hace del libro de texto de Historia en las aulas de Bachillerato, más concretamente en la Comunidad Autónoma de la Región de Murcia, abarcando el periodo 1993-2003. Se ha recurrido a los relatos realizados por 1523 alumnos y ha llegado a todos los Centros de Secundaria de la Comunidad. Tres ideas podemos destacar: la primera es su importancia como mediador de la enseñanza, ya que es utilizado por 7 de cada 10 profesores; la segunda su carácter simbólico, al estar presente en todo el quehacer de docentes y discentes dentro y fuera del aula y, la tercera, su tendencia a aumentar en ésta década, aunque su uso decae en los dos últimos años, sobre todo como material único

Extrahypothalamic Control of Energy Balance and Its Connection with Reproduction: Roles of the Amygdala

Body energy and metabolic homeostasis are exquisitely controlled by multiple, often overlapping regulatory mechanisms, which permit the tight adjustment between fuel reserves, internal needs, and environmental (e.g., nutritional) conditions. As such, this function is sensitive to and closely connected with other relevant bodily systems, including reproduction and gonadal function. The aim of this mini-review article is to summarize the most salient experimental data supporting a role of the amygdala as a key brain region for emotional learning and behavior, including reward processing, in the physiological control of feeding and energy balance. In particular, a major focus will be placed on the putative interplay between reproductive signals and amygdala pathways, as it pertains to the control of metabolism, as complementary, extrahypothalamic circuit for the integral control of energy balance and gonadal function

Deep inelastic scattering and factorization in the 't Hooft Model

We study in detail deep inelastic scattering in the 't Hooft model. We are able to analytically check current conservation and to obtain analytic expressions for the matrix elements with relative precision O(1/Q^2) for 1-x >> \beta^2/Q^2. This allows us to compute the electron-meson differential cross section and its moments with 1/Q^2 precision. For the former we find maximal violations of quark-hadron duality, as it is expected for a large N_c analysis. For the latter we find violations of the operator product expansion at next-to-leading order in the 1/Q^2 expansion.Comment: 55 pages, 16 figure
