Desenvolvimento em Saúde nos Municípios Mineiros: análise dos fatores condicionantes

This study proposes an integration between variables identified in literature review as determinants of public health, in the sense of understand which of them have an impact in health development in the municipal districts, analyzed by IFDM-Health. To understand how the characteristics and conditions of the municipal districts can influence the health development, will help to understand the reasons that cause some municipal districts to be more developed in terms of health than others. In this sense, the importance of this study is to identifying those factors that potentially tend to impact on development levels, thus having the potential to provide public managers tools able to identify what are the factors that impact positively or negatively the development in municipal districts health. The universe of analysis is the municipal districts of Minas Gerais. It was used as a methodology to factor analysis followed by logistic regression. In the end, it is concluded that there are three determining factors for health development in the municipal districts: “structural dimension and educational infrastructure”, “social dimension” and “income distribution and social protection.” The results of this research assert the importance of these multiple factors to be not overlooked or undervalued in the analysis or the formulation of municipal health policies, since they generate impact on municipal districts health conditions

This study describes a one-stage rumenostomy technique with placement of permanent flexible silicone cannula, performed in seven Santa Inês ewes used in a research on ruminal acidosis for six months. The surgical procedure proved to be easy to perform, with few postoperative complications and effective to carry out the ruminal fluid sampling during the period of study

Engajamento cidadão e processos decisórios: abordagem a partir do federalismo brasileiro

This is a theoretical methodology article, aims to present, based on the literature review covering the theme of the evolution of the state, federalism and democracy in Brazil and popular participation, theoretical debates about federalism, citizen engagement and public participation, by highlighting the role of participatory budgeting. It was found that this context allows participation, as well as control and implementation of public policies, highlighting participatory budgeting as an important tool to minimize inequalities and imbalance of access to decision-making power. Finally it was noted that federalism does not offer guarantees for effective participation, being necessary to implement means that enable the democratization of the process of formulation and control of public policies.Com a recente descentralização político-administrativa no Brasil e abertura à participação, surgem mecanismos que marcam uma nova Era na relação entre Estado e sociedade. Este artigo objetiva analisar de que forma o federalismo oportuniza a participação popular, colocando em pauta os orçamentos participativos. Constatou-se que esse contexto possibilita participação popular, assim como o controle e aplicação de políticas públicas, destacando que o orçamento participativo tem se mostrado importante instrumento de minimização de desigualdades e desequilíbrio de acesso ao poder decisório. Por fim notou-se que o federalismo ainda não oferece garantias plenas para efetivação da participação, sendo necessário pôr em prática meios que viabilizem a democratização do processo de formulação e controle de políticas públicas

Miocardiopatia de Takotsubo e suas variáveis: uma revisão integrativa

In post-modern society, changes in people's lifestyle have triggered both professional and personal problems. In this context, encouraging the biopsychosocial look at the patient, there is a concern to research more about Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy. The objective of this research is to identify studies that address the factors that can trigger Takotsubo myocardiopathy. This is an integrative literature review. The evidence found through the retrieved articles indicates the association of CMT with stressors, this being the most likely variable, it is an underdiagnosed pathology because its findings are confused with Acute Coronary Syndrome. The results of the present study demonstrate the association of stressors with the development of Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy, clarifying possible relationships between them.Na sociedade pós-moderna, as mudanças no estilo de vida das pessoas desencadearam problemas tanto profissionais, quanto pessoais. Nesse contexto, incentivando o olhar biopsicossocial para o paciente, surge a inquietação de se pesquisar mais sobre a Cardiomiopatia de Takotsubo. O objetivo dessa pesquisa é identificar estudos que abordem os fatores que podem desencadear a mio cardiopatia de Takotsubo. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura.  As evidências encontradas através dos artigos recuperados indicam a associação da CMT com fatores estressores, sendo essa a variável mais provável, é uma patologia sub diagnosticada pois seus achados se confundem com a Síndrome Coronariana Aguda. A reatividade negativa oriunda da poliquimioterapia imposta na Hanseníase

Introdução: A hanseníase é uma doença infectocontagiosa, que devido às repercussões clínicas e aos dados epidemiológicos é considerada de notificação compulsória. Contudo, esse transtorno quando é precocemente identificado e adequadamente manejado, evita consideravelmente o círculo vicioso de contágio e as manifestações clínicas que tornam a doença tão alvo de estigma. Objetivo: Descrever a reação negativa oriunda da poliquimioterapia imposta na hanseníase. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão narrativa de literatura, fundamentada nas plataformas do Scielo, Pubmed, Lilacs e demais literaturas pertinentes ao tema, utilizando-se os seguintes descritores: Reação Hansênica, Efeitos Adversos e Poliquimioterapia, no período de janeiro de 2023. Resultados e Discussão:  Atualmente, o protocolo terapêutico voltado para a Hanseníase é a poliquimioterapia e possui boa eficácia e tolerância pela maioria dos pacientes.  No advém, a minoria destes apresenta reações adversas que variam de leve a exacerbadas e que devem ser devidamente classificados e orientados para outras opções farmacológica, objetivando impedir que o paciente abandone o tratamento, junto às enormes repercussões oriundas deste, e propiciar melhor qualidade de vida. Conclusão: Estima-se que o tratamento da Hanseníase é algo importante e indispensável para evitar problemas de saúde pública, mas este se baseia em uma alta carga associada de remédios potentes, a qual alguns portadores possuem sensibilidade e se orientados, podem continuar o tratamento até o alcance da cura.&nbsp

Doença meningocócica recorrente: um sinal de alerta…

Recurrent meningococcal disease is a red flag for immune deficits with increased susceptibility for Neisseria meningitidis infections. Meningococcal disease still causes high morbidity and mortality throughout the world, despite the advances in understanding its pathophysiology and implementing effective treatment. Recurrent meningococcal disease mandates the exclusionof complement deficiencies. The authors report a case of recurrent meningococcal disease in a 5-year-old girl who was positive for complement component C7 deficiency. Thorough clinical surveillance, tailored immunization, and early antibiotic treatment arefundamental in preventing morbidity and mortality related with the disease.A meningococemia recorrente constitui um sinal de alerta para imunodeficiências com elevada suscetibilidade a infeções por Neisseria meningitidis. Apesar dos avanços no reconhecimento da fisiopatogenia da doença e da instituição de medidas terapêuticas adequadas, esta continua a cursar com elevada morbi-mortalidade em todo o mundo. Na presença de infeções meningocócicas recorrentes, as deficiências do complemento devem ser pesquisadas. Os autores apresentam um caso de meningococemia recorrente numa menina de 5 anos na qual foi identificado um défice do componente C7 do sistema do complemento. Nestas situações é imperiosa a vigilância clínica, vacinação adequada e instituição de terapêutica antibiótica precoce são estratégias fundamentais para a redução da mortalidade e do risco de sequelas e a mortalidade
