Measurement of the B0-anti-B0-Oscillation Frequency with Inclusive Dilepton Events
The - oscillation frequency has been measured with a sample of
23 million \B\bar B pairs collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II
asymmetric B Factory at SLAC. In this sample, we select events in which both B
mesons decay semileptonically and use the charge of the leptons to identify the
flavor of each B meson. A simultaneous fit to the decay time difference
distributions for opposite- and same-sign dilepton events gives ps.Comment: 7 pages, 1 figure, submitted to Physical Review Letter
Improved Limits on decays to invisible final states
We establish improved upper limits on branching fractions for B0 decays to
final States 10 where the decay products are purely invisible (i.e., no
observable final state particles) and for final states where the only visible
product is a photon. Within the Standard Model, these decays have branching
fractions that are below the current experimental sensitivity, but various
models of physics beyond the Standard Model predict significant contributions
for these channels. Using 471 million BB pairs collected at the Y(4S) resonance
by the BABAR experiment at the PEP-II e+e- storage ring at the SLAC National
Accelerator Laboratory, we establish upper limits at the 90% confidence level
of 2.4x10^-5 for the branching fraction of B0-->Invisible and 1.7x10^-5 for the

Measurement of asymmetries in decays with Belle II
We present a measurement of time-dependent rate asymmetries in decays to search for non-standard-model physics in transitions. The data sample is collected with the Belle II
detector at the SuperKEKB asymmetric-energy collider in 2019-2022
and contains bottom-antibottom mesons from
resonance decays. We reconstruct signal events and
extract the charge-parity () violating parameters from a fit to the
distribution of the proper-decay-time difference of the two mesons. The
measured direct and mixing-induced asymmetries are
and , respectively, where the first
uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. The results are
compatible with the asymmetries observed in
transitions
Measurement of the branching fractions and asymmetries of and decays in 2019-2021 Belle II data
We determine the branching fractions and asymmetries
of the decays and . The results are based on a data set containing 198
million bottom-antibottom meson pairs corresponding to an integrated luminosity
of recorded by the Belle II detector in energy-asymmetric
electron-positron collisions at the resonance. We measure
, , , and , where the first uncertainties are
statistical and the second are systematic. These results improve a previous
Belle II measurement and agree with the world averages
Search for an invisible in a final state with two muons and missing energy at Belle II
The extension of the standard model predicts the existence
of a lepton-flavor-universality-violating boson that couples only
to the heavier lepton families. We search for such a through its
invisible decay in the process . We use a
sample of electron-positron collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 10.58GeV
collected by the Belle II experiment in 2019-2020, corresponding to an
integrated luminosity of 79.7fb. We find no excess over the expected
standard-model background. We set 90-confidence-level upper limits on the
cross section for this process as well as on the coupling of the model, which
ranges from at low masses to 1 at
masses of 8
Exclusive Measurements of b -> s gamma Transition Rate and Photon Energy Spectrum
We use 429 fb of collision data collected at the
resonance with the BABAR detector to measure the radiative
transition rate of with a sum of 38 exclusive final
states. The inclusive branching fraction with a minimum photon energy of 1.9
GeV is found to be where the first uncertainty is statistical and the
second is systematic. We also measure the first and second moments of the
photon energy spectrum and extract the best fit values for the heavy-quark
parameters, and , in the kinetic and shape function

Determination of from untagged decays using 2019-2021 Belle II data
We present an analysis of the charmless semileptonic decay , where , from 198.0 million pairs of
mesons recorded by the Belle II detector at the SuperKEKB
electron-positron collider. The decay is reconstructed without identifying the
partner meson. The partial branching fractions are measured independently
for and as functions of
(momentum transfer squared), using 3896 and
5466 decays. The total branching fraction is
found to be for decays, where the uncertainties are statistical and
systematic, respectively. By fitting the measured partial branching fractions
as functions of , together with constraints on the nonperturbative
hadronic contribution from lattice QCD calculations, the magnitude of the
Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element , , is extracted. Here, the first uncertainty is
statistical, the second is systematic and the third is theoretical
Measurement of branching fractions and direct asymmetries for and decays at Belle II
We report measurements of the branching fractions and direct
asymmetries of the decays , , , and , and use these for testing the standard
model through an isospin-based sum rule. In addition, we measure the branching
fraction and direct asymmetry of the decay and
the branching fraction of the decay . The data are
collected with the Belle II detector from collisions at the
resonance produced by the SuperKEKB asymmetric-energy collider
and contain bottom-antibottom meson pairs. Signal yields are
determined in two-dimensional fits to background-discriminating variables, and
range from 500 to 3900 decays, depending on the channel. We obtain for the sum rule, in agreement with the standard model
expectation of zero and with a precision comparable to the best existing
determinations
Measurement of the integrated luminosity of the Phase 2 data of the Belle II experiment
From April to July 2018, a data sample at the peak energy of the γ(4S) resonance was collected with the Belle II detector at the SuperKEKB electron-positron collider. This is the first data sample of the Belle II experiment. Using Bhabha and digamma events, we measure the integrated luminosity of the data sample to be (496.3 ± 0.3 ± 3.0) pb-1, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. This work provides a basis for future luminosity measurements at Belle II
