The current web and mobile computing technologies have encouraged all sorts of applications mushroom in the market. However, most of the application that available does not integrate the place recommendation and route planning. Besides that, improving the processing speed of the algorithm is also another challenge of this research. Thus, the objectives of this research is to integrate the place recommendation based on profile preference using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and route planning using ACO method. The second objective of this research is to enhance the processing speed of the proposed AHP-ACO technique in generating the optimum route plan. This study presents the integration methods of AHP algorithm for point of interest decision-making and ACO and rule-based algorithms for route optimization. AHP interest scores based on user preferences, business information and community reviews are used to model decision making. ACO and rule-based algorithms are used to arrange the itinerary of the place of interest that either has been chosen by the user or recommended by the system. The integration AHP-ACO method has been enhanced to reduce the execution time from 5 minutes to 30 seconds for 7 days trip planning. Object Oriented Software Engineering(OOSE) methodology has been used to build the mobile recommender system prototype and web application prototype. Questionnaires have been distributed to collect user feedback. The results show that the integration method is promising for helping the user in making decisions and itinerary arrangements

Majalengka Regency is located at the foot of Ciremai Mountain, where there are many waterfalls such as Muara Jaya Waterfall in Argamukti Village, Argapura District. The potential of this waterfall cannot be utilized further, only new to the utilization for the tourist area. Another possible utilization is the creation of Micro Hydro Power Plant (MHPP), which will be an efficient alternative energy solution because it only utilizes the available water drops. In writing this Job Training Report discussed on maintenance of Micro Hydro Power Plant, the influence of the nozzle valve openings to turbine rotation, the effect of turbine rotation to the voltage generated by the generator, generator rotation for the resulting voltage stable on 220-240V. Turbine velocity value of the largest of the test conducted is at 414.2 rpm, while the lowest is at 210.5 rpm. The turbine spinning test is subjected to a nozzle valve opening position. The result of the effect of the turbine rotation on the voltage generator, when the speed increases then the voltage will increase so vice versa. The effect of the generator spin on the generator voltage is the weaker the generator the weaker the voltage generated and vice versa

Orientadora: Profa Dra. The debate on the cultural policy of formation of the new generations, which must be implemented in the educational systems, has generated great discussions about the cultural contents to be taught. The curriculum field is directly linked to such debates, concerning how teaching should be transmitted and acquired, its quality, among others, and can only be defined taking into account its historicity and the conceptions that support it. Thus, seeking to problematize the curriculum field as a cultural policy, the present work intends to reflect on the school curriculum field, problematizing its conceptions, definitions and meanings for school education. Therefore, it was decided to investigate some theories of the curriculum, namely: traditional theory and critical theory. For this, as a methodological option, it was decided to do a bibliographical, documental and field research, seeking to present the theories of the curriculum, highlighting the social assumptions that underlie such conceptions, their ideological disputes and the theoretical influences, as well as the impacts on school institutions. We hypothesize that mediations and actions in school and curriculum may go beyond the designs of power and control as a place for opposition and resistance. We use as sources, national researches carried out in the field of the curriculum, by authors well known in the area. The research analysis framework is supported by the Critical Theory of Society, especially the philosopher Theodor Adorno. However, it is not restricted to the philosopher Adorno, but other scholars of the Frankfurt school who contributed to the study of critical theories. Adorno criticizes modern epistemology, coining the concept of instrumental reason as hegemonic in school practices, which may lead to regressive and domination practice

The Committee chosen for the purpose of procuring a Survey to be made, of the Route of the contemplated Cumberland and Oxford Canal, and of causing an estimate of the probable amount necessary for carrying the design into full effect, have performed the services assigned them, and now present the annexed Report and Estimate of the Engineer, which will in part, exhibit the result of their labours. The Estimate of actual expense is 130,804,89;towhichisadded5pr.cent,or130,804,89 ; to which is added 5 pr. cent, or 6,540,24, lest in any event that sum should prove insufficient for the completion of the work. Although this sum falls far short of what was anticipated by many, still if the nature of the land through which the route is pursued, the facility with which the excavations can generally be made, and the kind and cheapness of the materials required doubt can possibly exist that the sum is amply sufficient. That there are some individuals in the community who may be led to doubt its truth, is obvious ; but the Committee do not deem it their duty to spend time or paper in argument to convince the sceptical [sic], for a slight knowledge of facts will show the feasibility of execution within the limits of the sum assigned. --from the report, p. 3-4.https://digitalcommons.library.umaine.edu/mainebicentennial/1083/thumbnail.jp
