Modeling of the intercivilization fault effect on the conflict intensity throughout the world

Using the mathematical apparatus of the multifactor regression analysis, the concept of faults between civilizations is verified, formalized and refined. The ethnocultural civilizational distribution of the countries is specified on the basis of the fuzzy cluster method. The mathematical model of fault lines between civiliza-tions is elaborated, which affords the opportunity to estimate and analyze the quanti-tative values of these faults. Formally, the developed model offers the way to deter-mine evolutionary regularities, systematize and econometrically verify the defining characteristics of actual civilizational clashes. The results of an analysis and com-parison of modeling data of intercivilizational faults in 2008 and 2018 revealed the tendencies of individual civilizations to unite and clash, and the effect of these faults on the global conflict as well. The dependence of global threats on the proliferation of weapons and their individual components is assessed. The conflict effect on the so-cio-economic indicators of clashing civilizations is determined. The correspondence of the modeling outcomes to the real state of intercivilizational faults is verified by comparison with actual historical data. The results of the study encourage to form a comprehensive vision of the nature of modern clashes, whose emergence is caused by the faults between civilizations, and to determine their formal characteristics and regularities of their course.Keywords: civilizations, clash of civilizations, conflicts, global threats, proliferation of weapons, multifactor regression analysis, fuzzy cluster method

Моделювання ліній розлому цивілізацій на початку XXI століття в контексті їх фундаментальних відмінностей

The cycle of modeling of the lines of the civilization breakdown by S. Huntington, begun in 2008, continues in the context of the fundamental cultural differences of these civilizations with a time interval of 10 years. The simulation is based on the application of the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the differences between world cultures based on the modification of S. Huntington’s approach. Using the data of distances clustering, quantitative figures of the existing break lines between the civilizations as well as their cumulative differences, we obtain the possibility to forecast the potential mergers and conflicts between the world cultures. The obtained data of the comparative analysis of the present study with the research results of the year 2008 can serve as a scientifically grounded basis for further studying the issues of predicting the creation of unions and alliances in the world, as well as while modeling the behavior and development of individual countries in the world.Продолжен цикл моделирования линий разломов цивилизаций на основе теории Самюэля Хантингтона, начатого в 2008 г., в контексте фундаментальных культурных отличий цивилизаций с временным интервалом 10 лет. Моделирование основывается на применении количественного и качественного анализа отличий между мировыми культурами на основании модификации подхода Самюэля Хантингтона. С использованием результатов кластеризации расстояний, численных значений общих разломов между цивилизациями и совокупных отличий цивилизаций сформировано виденье на ближайшее и далёкое будущее касательно возможных объединений и конфликтов между мировыми культурами. С помощью сравнительного анализа по результатам исследований, проведенных в 2008 г., получены данные, которые могут стать научно-обоснованной основой для предсказания создания ряда объединений и альянсов стран мира, а также для моделирования поведения и развития отдельных стран мира.Продовжено цикл моделювання ліній розлому цивілізацій за Самуелем Хантігтоном, розпочатий у 2008 р., у контексті фундаментальних культурних відмінностей цих цивілізацій з часовим інтервалом 10 років. Моделювання ґрунтується на застосуванні кількісного і якісного аналізу відмінностей між світовими культурами на основі модифікації підходу Самуеля Хантінгтона. На підставі результатів кластеризації відстаней, числових значень загальних розломів між цивілізаціями і сукупних відмінностей цивілізацій сформовано бачення на ближче і віддалене майбутнє щодо можливих об’єднань і конфліктів між світовими культурами. Порівняльний аналіз за результатами досліджень, проведених у 2008 р., дозволив отримати дані, які можуть стати науково-обґрунтованою базою для передбачення створення ряду об’єднань та альянсів країн світу, а також для моделювання поведінки та розвитку окремих країн світу
