    Pengaruh Pembelajaran Konstruktivistik dengan Metode Problem Solving Terhadap Kreativitas Siswa MAN

    AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh pembelajaran konstruktivistik dengan metode problem solving terhadap kreativitas siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian Quasi Control Group Design (Desain Grup Kontrol Quasi) dengan metode berjenis Quasi Experimental (penelitian eksperimen semu). Penelitian ini dilakasanakan di MAN Bangkalan yang berjumlah empat kelas yang masing-masing kelas berjumlah 37 siswa. Keseluruhan penelitian untuk kelas eksperimen berjumlah 74 siswa sedangkan kelas kontrol berjumlah 74 siswa sehingga jumlah keseluruhan dari seluruh kelas menjadi 148 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes tulis. Tes yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kreativitas siswa dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data yaitu normalitas, homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan instrument tes tulis. Untuk menguji pengaruh pembelajaran konstrutivistik dilakukan dengan dua analisa dengan uji beda dan uji t- test samples independent. Hasil dan analisis data yang diperoleh dengan nilai uji beda signifikansi denagn nilai sebesar 711,54 dan kelas kontrol 54,15. Kemudian hasil analisis yang diperoleh dari pengaruh pembelajaran konstruktivistik dengan metode problem solving terhadap kreativitas dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000<0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan setelah dilakukan uji t independent samples test bahwa pembelajaran konstruktivistik dengan metode problem solving berpengaruh terhadap kreativitas siswa.

    Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang pembelajarannya dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah open-ended (PBMO) bila dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Disain penelitian ini adalah disain eksperimen yang dinamakan delayed counter balanced design. Dalam penelitian ini, kelompok eksperimen memperoleh PBMO dan kelompok kontrol memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Untuk mendapatkan data hasil penelitian digunakan instrumen berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMP Negeri Kota Bandar Lampung dengan subjek sampel adalah siswa kelas VIII sebanyak dua kelas dari masing-masing sekolah peringkat tinggi (SMPN 4) dan sekolah peringkat sedang (SMPN 12) yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan diperoleh kesimpulam bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran pada kedua kelompok sampel

The empirical research material consisted of 30 interviews with immigrants and four interviews with of? cials and others dealing with immigrant affairs.     The purpose of this research was to describe the fluency, flexibility, and novelty of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta who have the high, moderate, and low mathematics ability to solve the mathematics problem on the topic of union. This research was qualitative research. The subjects were taken from seventh grade student of SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta. The subjects were 9 students; 3 students with high ability, 3 students with moderate ability, and 3 students with low ability. Data were collected through think aloud method in which students were asked to express what he thought orally. The main data sources were the words and actions of students while being interviewed. Data was validated using data triangulation where data collection was conducted at two different time. The research results showed that the students with the high, moderate, and low mathematics ability had different characteristics in fluency, flexibility and novelty

    Good mathematics teaching at lower primary school level

    This paper explores Norwegian lower primary teachers’ views about good mathematics teaching as revealed in a focus group interview at the end of a two-year school-based professional development program. Analyses of the empirical data indicate three main categories of findings: the teachers’ facilitation of learning, the students’ thinking in and about mathematics and the use of teaching aids in teaching. The results are discussed in relation to other Nordic studies and possible implications are also provided.publishedVersio

    The aims of this research were to know and to describe mathematical thinking characteristic of grade VII students of SMP MTA Gemolong in solving mathematic problems at linear equation of two variables (LETV) observed from the reasoning capability and gender. This research belonged to descriptive research with qualitative explorative approach. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique. There were six samples used in this research. The category of the sample based on this reasoning ability was taken by reasoning test and space field test. There were two types of instruments that were used in this research to collect the data. The first was solving problem test instrument, and the second was interview guidance. Validation test of the data that was used in this research was time triangulation test. The results of this research indicated as follows. (1) The characteristic of mathematical thinking of male and female students with high reasoning ability in solving problems did not complete the phases of mathematical thinking, but it completed in the reproduction and connection phase. Whereas in analysis phaseit was not completed. (2) The characteristic of mathematical thinking of male and female students with intermediate reasoning ability in solving problems did not complete the phases of mathematical thinking, but it completed in the reproduction and the connection phase. Whereas in analysis phase, it was not completed. (3) The characteristic of mathematical thinking of male and female students with low reasoning ability in solving problems did not complete the phases of mathematical thinking, but it completed in the reproduction phase.     ABSTRAK IDENTIFIKASI TINGKAT BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA SMA DALAM MEMECAHKAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA Tuntutan dalam dunia Pendidikan telah mengalami banyak perubahan. Pada bidang Pendidikan, berpikir kreatif mendapat perhatian yang cukup besar. Berpikir kreatif merupakan suatu kegiatan mental yang melibatkan kemampuan untuk membangun ide-ide baru dalam memecahkan masalah. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa memiliki lima tingkatan (sangat kreatif, kreatif, cukup kreatif, kurang kreatif, tidak kreatif). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat berpikir kreatif siswa SMA dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini meliputi semua siswa kelas X MIPA 5 SMA NU 1 Gresik tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Sedangkan instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes pemecahan masalah dengan materi fungsi kuadrat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) terdapat 8 siswa (24%) yang termasuk pada TBK 0 (tidak kreatif). Siswa pada tingkat ini adalah hanya mampu menghasilkan satu cara atau jawaban dalam memecahkan masalah. (2) terdapat 7 siswa (21%) yang termasuk pada TBK 1 (kurang kreatif). Siswa pada tingkat ini mampu menghasilkan dua jawaban beragam namun cara yang digunakan tidak beragam dalam memecahkan masalah. (3) terdapat 3 siswa (9%) yang termasuk pada TBK 2 (cukup kreatif). Siswa pada tingkat ini mampu menghasilkan dua cara yang beragam namun jawabannya tidak beragam dalam memecahkan masalah. (4) terdapat 14 siswa (43%) yang termasuk pada TBK 3 (kreatif). Siswa pada tingkat ini mampu menghasilkan minimal dua cara dan jawaban yang beragam dalam memecahkan masalah. (5) terdapat 0 siswa (0%) yang termasuk pada kelompok TBK 4 (sangat kreatif). Tidak ada siswa yang memenuhi TBK 4 . Kata kunci: Memecahkan masalah, Tingkat berpikir kreatif ABSTRACTIDENTIFICATION OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS CREATIVE THINKING LEVEL IN SOLVING MATHEMATICS PROBLEMS The demand in educational world has already face several changes. In educational field, the thought for being creative get bigger attention. Think creatively is one of a mental activity which includes the ability to build new ideas in finding solutions. The ability to think creatively of a student has five stages which are; (very creative, creative, creative enough, not too creative, and less-creative). The aim of this study is to describe the thinking stages of a student in Senior High School to find the solution in mathematic problems. This study uses descriptive and qualitative approach for its analysis. The subject of this study includes all students grade X MIPA 5 in SMA NU 1 Gresik 2017/2018. While the instrument in this study is the problem-solution test with quadratic function material. Based on the data analysis, it can be inferred that: (1) There are 8 students (24%) that categorized to the TBK 0 (less-creative). The students in this stage can only find one method and answer in solving problem. (2) There are 7 students (21%) that categorized to the TBK 1 (not-too creative). The students in this stage can find two various answers but the method were not various in solving problem. (3) There are 3 students (9%) that categorized to the TBK 2 (creative enough). Students in this stage can find two various method but the answers were not various in solving problem. (4) There are 14 students (43%) that categorized to the TBK 3 (creative). Students in this stage can find at least two various methods and formulas in solving problem.
