Preparation and Organization of Golf Tournament

Import 05/08/2014Cílem této bakalářské práce je popsat a objasnit všechny náležitosti přípravy a organizace golfového turnaje. Zaměřil jsem se na pořádání regionálního amatérského golfového turnaje. Zvolenou situaci jsem řešil za pomocí fiktivního příkladu golfového turnaje. V této práci jsem použil výzkumné metody SWOT analýza, SMART analýza, introspekce a výzkumné techniky rozhovor a pozorování. Díky zvolenému příkladu přípravy a organizování golfového turnaje bylo možné, aplikovat obecné zákonitosti a dílčí procesy a hodnoty do reálné situace, která přibližuje všechny detaily pořádání sportovně společenské akce a zároveň reflektuje postavení golfu v České republice. Tato práce by měla sloužit jako návod a zdroj informací pro potenciální organizátory golfových turnajů.The goal of this bachelor thesis is to describe and clarify all the essentials of preparation and organization of a golf tournament. I aimed at running a regional amateur golf tournament. I solved the situation by creating fictive example of a golf tournament. In this thesis I used the exploratory methods SWOT analysis, SMART analysis and introspection and exploratory techniques dialogue and observation. Thanks to the example of preparation and organization of the golf tournament I was able to apply general regularities and particular processes and values to the real situation, which introduces all the details of running a sports-social event and also reflects the condition of golf in the Czech Republic. Otázka mi byla položena jedním z posluchačů, když jsem připomenul výročí náletu na Brno. Jsem válečné dítě. Proto mne zajímá vše, co souvisí s událostmi na konci války. Rozhodl jsem se napsat několik vzpomínek.Řadu poznatků mi kdysi předali rodiče a mnohé technické souvislosti z konce války jsem si objasnil také během vojenské základní služby, v šedesátých létech (prodloužené na dvojnásobek). Sloužil jsem u letectva.Konečně, některá fakta jsou získána z internetu (v adresách je většinou silnějším písmem označena hlavní informace)

Heat exchanger design

Tato závěrečná práce pojednává o návrhu tepelného výměníku spaliny – vzduch. Je tvořena z rešerše, tepelného a hydraulického výpočtu a je přiložen základní návrhový výkres.The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to propose a design of a flue gas – air heat exchanger. Based on theoretical knowledge and thermal and hydraulic calculations a basic design is presented.

Fracture Tests to Study the Behaviour of Simulated Sub-Surface Flaws in a Reactor Pressure Vessel Steel - a Continuation of the NESC-IV project

The NESC-IV project (2000 - 2005) addressed the transferability of fracture toughness data from laboratory specimens to applications that assess the integrity of reactor pressure vessels. This project included a series of uniaxial bend tests on large beams with a simulated shallow, sub-surface flaw. The results of these experiments pointed towards a significant constraint-loss effect in the ductile-to-brittle transition temperature range of the used steel, but in view of the inherent scatter in fracture toughness of low alloy steels in the given regime, further testing was recommended. Therefore the scope of present project was to perform a set of six additional tests with nominally identical test piece geometry, material and loading arrangements, so as to obtain a statistically more relevant data set. The Institute for Energy contracted the Nuclear Research Institute in Rez to perform these experiments. Following the successful execution of the tests, a preliminary fracture mechanics analysis was made to compare estimates of the stress intensity values at failure with the material's Master Curve. The results confirmed the constraint-loss effect, which had been observed in the previous NESC-IV test series. Moreover it was found that some aspects needed further attention, such as detailed finite element modelling of the experimental arrangements and accurate characterization of the test material's fracture toughness. The purpose of this thesis is to propose a conceptual design of flue gas condenser and its application into a heating plant. The theoretical part contains of necessary knowledge important for understanding the issues raised in the thesis. The conclusion of this thesis is comparison of different types of flue gas condensers, low temperature economizer and absorption heat pump followed by economic evaluation using this technology in the heating plant

Import 29/09/2010V úvodu této diplomové práce je shrnuto základní rozdělení zdrží a brzd používaných u zařízení pro povrchovou a hlubinnou dopravu. V další části diplomové práce jsou zpracované technické a technologické požadavky, které by měl pásový dopravník a brzda dopravníku splňovat. V koncepčním návrhu pohonu pásového dopravníku jsou zpracované varianty pohonu včetně alternativního řešení brzdy, které se v současné době používají u dopravníků pro povrchovou a hlubinnou dopravu. Ve výpočtové části jsou podle normy spočteny základní parametry dopravníku pro konstrukční návrh brzdy. Navrhnutá brzda je pak překontrolovaná na oteplení a životnost.At the beginning of this thesis is summarized and the basic division refrain brakes used in equipment for surface and underground transport. In the next section of the thesis preparation of technical and technological requirements, which should be a belt conveyor and conveyor drag meet. The conceptual design drive the conveyor belt drive options are processed, including alternative dispute brakes, which are currently used in conveyors for surface and underground transport. In the calculation of the standard are counted according to the basic parameters for the design of the conveyor brakes. Environmental Trail Suitability in the Proposed Bästeträsk National Park, Gotland : A Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis Using GIS

This master’s thesis determines trail suitability in the context of environmental area sensitivity, closely focusing on a proposed Bästeträsk National Park, Gotland, Sweden. The current relative low usage of the area is expected to significantly increase its tourism flow once the proposed national park is established, as the demand for nature-based tourism and recreation is growing. However, due to its pristine landscapes, myriad endemic and red-listed species, and rare geomorphological phenomena, there is a need to closely review the destination’s environmental sensitivity and potential recreational adverse impacts on the area’s ecosystem services. Consequently, the research reviews Volunteered Geographic Data within the studied area and employs Geographic Information Systems-based Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis to determine environmental trail suitability. The research identified that more than half of the studied area exhibits substantial environmental sensitivity. Additionally, it highlights that multiple used and established trails intersect considerably sensitive areas, which must be considered for future tourism planning to attain sustainable destination development. Moreover, the study furthers on the requisite to recognise nature-based activities beyond the means of low impact due to their increasing popularity and anthropogenic impacts
