We want to submit here a summary of the the speech that Marina Pugliese presented in 2004 at the Twentieth International General Conference of Icofom - the International Committee for Museology -, which was dedicated to the relationship between museology and the intangible heritage. This is a reflection on a possible museum without space and collections, dedicated to preserve only works of art which can be reproduced and archived as projects: The Museum of Projects
Audiovisual translation and media accessibility in language learning contexts
The integration of audiovisual translation (AVT), in its
multiple forms (i.e., interlingual, intralingual and intersemiotic, Jakobson 1959)
and modes (revoicing and subtitling), with a key focus on multimodality have
found their way more recently in the foreign language education (FLE) context.
If subtitles and subtitling remain a hugely discussed topic in their pedagogical
application (see DĂaz-Cintas and Wang 2022), over recent years studies about
didactic AVT have definitely enlarged their scope and come to comprise the various
AVT techniques that can be used in the classroom as a motivating booster
of language learning, since, especially in active practices, the learner is really at
the centre of his/her learning process. Current research on didactic AVT shares the premises that this kind of translation
is beneficial not only as a complex problem-solving activity triggering
integrated skills as well as critical thinking, but also as a multisensorial and intersemiotic
experience demanding a holistic approach, which fosters sociopragmatic
competences and intercultural awareness in learners (Incalcaterra McLoughlin, and Talaván 2018).
In the past twenty years, one of the most innovative and promising fields within
AVT has been Media Accessibility (MA) research and practice, in line with the urgent need of providing
accessible and inclusive services to all members of society (DĂaz-Cintas, Orero,
and Remael 2007). The great potentials of MA tools, including SDH and AD
addressed to the aurally and visually impaired audiences respectively, also started
to attract the interest of scholars in AVT in language learning.
Learning a language by learning to translate, as well as by reflecting
on translation(s) through media resources, has certainly gained a specific status in
the ongoing “new relationships” between translation and contemporary language
teaching (Koletnik and Froeliger 2019). However, while a lot has been achieved in
AVT, there is much still to explore and learn

Tunable FDM 3D printing of flexible poly(butylene adipate terephthalate)-based biocomposite filaments
Poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate), PBAT, is a synthetic and 100% biodegradable polymer based on fossil resources, with high elongation at break and high flexibility. These properties are comparable to lowdensity polyethylene, making PBAT a very promising biodegradable material that could replace it in some industrial applications. However, its lower mechanical properties have limited its application range. The reinforcement of PBAT with rigid filler, such as zein-TiO2 (ZTC) complex microparticles, has the purpose to expand its application fields, from the food and agricultural packaging to healthcare sector. The 3D printability of bio-based composites was demonstrated by realizing complex structures with a commercial FDM printer
Flexible PBAT-Based Composite Filaments for Tunable FDM 3D Printing
Biobased composites with peculiar properties offer an attractive route for producing environmentally friendly materials. The reinforcement for poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate) (PBAT), based on zein-titanium dioxide (TiO2) complex (ZTC) microparticles, is presented and used to produce composite filaments, successfully 3-dimensionally (3D) printed by fused deposition modeling (FDM). The outcome of ZTC addition, ranging from 5 to 40 wt %, on the thermo-mechanical properties of composite materials was analyzed. Results reveal that storage modulus increased with increasing the ZTC content, leading to a slight increase in the glass transition temperature. The creep compliance varies with the ZTC concentration, denoting a better resistance to deformation under constant stress conditions for composites with higher complex content. Scanning electron microscopy was used to assess the quality of interphase adhesion between PBAT and ZTC, showing good dispersion and distribution of complex microparticles in the polymer matrix. Infrared spectroscopy confirmed the formation of a valid interface due to the formation of hydrogen bonds between filler and polymer matrix. Preliminary tests on the biocompatibility of these materials were also performed, showing no cytotoxic effects on cell viability. Finally, the 3D printability of biobased composites was demonstrated by realizing complex structures with a commercial FDM printer

Early Holocene ritual complexity in South America: the archaeological record of Lapa do Santo (east-central Brazil)
Early Archaic human skeletal remains found in a burial context in Lapa do Santo in eastcentral Brazil provide a rare glimpse into the lives of hunter-gatherer communities in South America, including their rituals for dealing with the dead. These included the reduction of the body by means of mutilation, defleshing, tooth removal, exposure to fire and possibly cannibalism, followed by the secondary burial of the remains according to strict rules. In a later period, pits were filled with disarticulated bones of a single individual without signs of body manipulation, demonstrating that the region was inhabited by dynamic groups in constant transformation over a period of centuries
