This document aims to show the relevance of Big Data as a tool for improving urban mobility management. To this end, mobility data from the STI (Integrated Tariff System) ambit of the Barcelona area are represented and analysed, and the factor that most determines the choice of transport mode of the inhabitants of the AMB (Barcelona Metropolitan Area) in their journeys to Barcelona is obtained using machine learning techniques. The data representation and machine learning exercise has been done using a virtual environment called Google Colaboratory (also called Google Colab for short), which allows you to run and program Phyton in the browser without previous configuration and with free access to GPUs (Graphics Processing Units). The structure of the document is as follows: A first chapter dedicated to characterize the AMB (municipalities that compose it, location, demography and economy). Then, data from the STI ambit of the Barcelona area are represented and analyzed. The third chapter is a tutorial about the basic functioning of the Google Colab environment. Finally, a predictive analysis is made in order to know what is the main cause (distance, cost of the trip in private transport or cost of the trip in public transport) that motivates the inhabitants of the AMB to choose one mode of transport or another in their trips to Barcelona

Sobre a descolonização do conhecimento: a invenção de outras epistemologias

O acúmulo de pesquisas e publicações acerca da pluralidade epistemológica vem ganhando notoriedade há, pelo menos, uma década. A despeito da identificação de produções significativamente mais antigas sobre o tema, as crises globais - políticas, econômicas, subjetivas - que deram o tom do início do século XXI - possivelmente favoreceram que se jogasse luz nesta questão: a forma de conhecimento consagrada, ao menos desde o Iluminismo, já não era capaz de responder aos desafios históricos da contemporaneidade. Este artigo trata de apresentar, primeiro, e com alguma brevidade, uma hipótese interpretativa da modernidade que favorece a compreensão de sua vinculação com o colonialismo. A esta etapa, fundamentada, sobretudo, na hermenêutica histórica de Enrique Dussel, seguirá um esforço pela reunião de argumentos de outros autores pós-colonialistas, tais como Walter Mignolo e Boaventura de Souza Santos, em favor de uma pluralidade epistemológica e a proposta de criação de epistemologias do sul.Palavras-chave:modernidade, colonialismo, epistemologias, descolonização

Problemas de la regulación actual en materia de comercio electrónico, armonización y firmas digitales

E-commerce has been growing since the late 1990’s up until today, which have caused states and regulatory bodies to create a myriad of attempts to determine, legislate and regulate such activity. With all the effort it carries they have fell short at harmonizing those attempts. The different legal families from which they belong and the different focuses at the moment of actually create a regulation have caused several interpretations of the same subject. Such interpretations vary from how to define to a digital signature to how should it be the approach when regulating electronic commerce. The following text shows some interesting topics referent to the lack of harmonization in e-commerce law as well as the flaws it has in the matters of security and certification. These last two topics being the main subjects which the different regulatory bodies have failed to agree on a consensus. It also mentions the Colombian case and its particular form of legislate digital signatures and certifications as well as mentioning several documents which have been created in order to regulate the subject.El comercio electrónico ha tenido un auge desde finales de la década de 1990 hasta el día de hoy, lo cual ha llevado a los estados y entes reguladores a crear una miríada de intentos por determinar, legislar y regular tal actividad. Con todo el esfuerzo que conlleva esto, no obstante se han quedado cortos en la armonización de tales intentos. Las diferentes familias jurídicas a las que pertenecen y los diferentes enfoques tomados a la hora de realizar el intento de regulación han causado varias interpretaciones respecto al tema. Esas interpretaciones varían desde como definir una firma hasta como debe ser el enfoque al regular los medios electrónicos. En el texto a continuación se exponen algunos temas de interés referentes a la falta de armonización en el derecho referente al comercio electrónico, al igual que las fallas que tiene en aspectos de seguridad y certificación. Siendo estos dos últimos temas, aquellos en los cuales los diferentes entes reguladores han tenido mayor discrepancia en los intentos por legislar. También se hace mención al caso Colombiano y su forma particular de legislar las firmas digitales y las certificaciones, al igual que se he hace referencia ha varios documentos que han sido creados para la regulación de la materia

Análisis de satisfacción de beneficiarios adultos mayores por aplicación de talleres psicológicos

In general, older adults do not have specialized psychological care that allows them to identify mental disorders, therefore they do not have a psychotherapeutic intervention plan that allows the observation and monitoring of evolution (progress, stagnation, or regression) in the different spheres of personality. In this case, the Technical University of Babahoyo and its Department of Relationship with the Community and the different agreements with strategic allies, allow psychology students to be brought closer to impart the knowledge acquired for the good of society, as part of the public policies of higher education. Hence, the link made it possible to carry out workshops and psychological activities with older adults, in total there were 558 adult beneficiaries and 112 participating students, the objective being to analyze the satisfaction of the beneficiaries who participated in the psychological workshops. Consequently, the analysis was carried out descriptively, addressing satisfaction with the activities, fulfillment of needs and expectations, satisfaction with the implementation of the project, behavior of students and technical teachers, valued by the beneficiaries, an average of 90 is established, 58% between Excellent and Very Good satisfaction. Despite this, the applied questionnaire has gaps that do not allow a broad measurement of satisfaction and does not address suggestions for improvement in the future.Por lo general, los adultos mayores, no tienen una atención psicológica especializada, que permita identificar las alteraciones mentales, por lo consiguiente tampoco cuentan con un plan de intervención psicoterapéutica que permita la observación y el seguimiento de la evolución (avances, estancamiento o retroceso) en las distintas esferas de la personalidad. En este caso, la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo y su departamento de Vínculo con la Comunidad y los diferentes convenios con los aliados estratégicos, permiten acercar a los estudiantes psicología para impartir los conocimientos adquiridos en bien de la sociedad, como parte de las políticas públicas de la educación superior. De ahí que, la vinculación permitió realizar taller y actividades psicológicas con adultos mayores, en total fueron 558 adultos beneficiarios y 112 estudiantes participante.  El propósito es analizar la satisfacción de los beneficiarios que participaron en los talleres psicológicos. En consecuencia, el análisis se realizó de forma descriptiva, abordando la satisfacción por las actividades, cumplimiento de las necesidades y expectativas, satisfacción por la implementación del proyecto, comportamiento de estudiantes y docentes técnicos, valoradas por los beneficiarios se establece un promedio del 90,58% entre Excelente y Muy Bueno de satisfacción. A pesar de esto, el cuestionario aplicado tiene vacíos que no permiten medir de forma amplia la satisfacción y no aborda sugerencias para mejorar en un futuro

Se propone reconstruir una historia desde una mirada holística promoviendo alternativas que posibiliten el generar cambios positivos, conectar emociones, para así equilibrar el choque de sentimientos desencadenados de las descritas situaciones y emprender una vida esperanzadora. Por otra parte, se pretenden diseñar e implementar estrategias orientadas a la modificación de paradigmas con marcas negativas y de dolor en los actores víctimas, como medio de re significación emocional en su trance vital; no obstante, el proceso analítico de los casos configura el apoyo en un proceso de recuperación que fortalece los recuerdos negativos en el marco experiencial como medio de superación.It is proposed to reconstruct a story from a holistic perspective, promoting alternatives that make it possible to generate positive changes, connect emotions, in order to balance the shock of unchained feelings of the described situations and to undertake a hopeful life.
