Predictors of Prevention Failure in College Students Participating in Two Indicated Depression Prevention Programs

The purpose of this study was to identify subgroups of university students with the highest likelihood of remaining at elevated levels of depressive symptoms six months following the receipt of a depressive prevention intervention on the basis of known risk factors and participation in one of two depression prevention programs. Data from a randomized controlled trial evaluating depression prevention among 133 college students with elevated depressive symptoms were analyzed. Participants were randomized to a cognitive-behavioral or relaxation training group preventive intervention. Classification tree analysis showed that older age was the strongest risk factor for persistently elevated depression. Additional risk factors were: (1) for younger students, fewer daily pleasant activities; (2) for those with higher level of pleasant activities, higher level of stressful events; and (3) for those with higher level of stressful events, lower assertiveness. Niveles de Hemoglobina y Prevalencia de Caries Dental en Escolares de Primaria de la I.E. Nº 80865 Trujillo, 2019

Determinar la relación entre la prevalencia caries dental con los niveles de hemoglobina en escolares de nivel primaria de la I.E. Nº 80865 Trujillo, 2019. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: El estudio fue Observacional y de corte transversal, se evaluó a 274 escolares. Se empleó el índice ceo-d/CPO-D para determinar la prevalencia de caries dental y se obtuvo muestras de sangre para determinar el nivel de hemoglobina. RESULTADOS: Se observó que los escolares de 6 a 12 años presentaron el 96.7% de caries dental. El 20.8% de escolares tuvieron hemoglobina disminuida (anemia) y el 79.2% de escolares presentaron una hemoglobina normal. Los escolares de 6 a 9 años el 96 % presentaron caries dental y los de 9 a 12 años presentaron el 97.1% caries dental en una elevada prevalencia. A la prueba estadística Chi Cuadrado (p=0.1179) no existió relación entre las variables estudiadas. CONCLUSIÓN: No existe una relación estadísticamente significativa entre la prevalencia de caries dental y el nivel de hemoglobina en los escolaresTo determine the relationship between the prevalence of dental caries with the levels of hemoglobin in primary schoolchildren of the I.E. Análisis de los conocimientos previos de estudiantes de sexto de Educación Primaria sobre Geometría

El motivo principal que me ha empujado a llevar a cabo este trabajo, es la falta de preocupación por parte del colectivodocente sobre los conocimientos previos que tiene el alumnado, y que por lo tanto no cubren las necesidades de los mismos, no permitiéndoles un correcto proceso de aprendizaje en el área de las matemáticas, donde es imprescindible un aprendizaje progresivo. Este plan se basa en una teoría tan relevante, conocida ybásica en el campo de las matemáticas, como son los niveles de reconocimiento de la teoría del modelo de Van Hiele (1957), que tienen como objetivo principal,reconocer en qué nivel de los cinco que nos proporciona este modelo se encuentran cuatro niños de entre diez y once años. Para ello, hemos elaborado una serie de herramientas que constan de cuatro actividades donde la orientación y las relaciones interfigurales serán el cuerpo central de las mismas. A través de ellas, podremos obtener los datosque nos interesany encuadrar a cada alumno en el nivel correspondiente. Los resultados obtenidos nos siguen dando la razón de la importancia que tiene un buen método de enseñanza y una buena motivación para un correcto proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en el área de las matemáticas, ya que sigue siendo en líneas generales la asignatura marginada por los estudiantes.The main reason that hasimpelled me to carry out this work, is the lack of concern on the part of the teaching staff about the previous knowledge that the students have, and that therefore they do not cover the needs of the same, not allowing them a correct learning process in the area of mathematics, where a progressive learning is essential.This plan is based on a theory that is so relevant, known and basic in the field of mathematics, such as the levels of recognition of the model theory of Van Hiele (1957), whose main objective is to recognize at what levelof the five that this model provides us 6with are four children between ten and eleven years old. To do this, we have developed a series of tools that consist of four activities where orientation and interfigural relationships will be the central body of them. Through them, we can obtain the data that interests us and frame each student at the corresponding level.The obtained results continue giving us the reason of the importance that has a good teaching method and a good motivation for a correct process of teaching-learning in the area of mathematics, since it remains in general lines the subject marginalized by the studentsUniversidad de Sevilla. Integración europea y opinión pública en el sur de Europa: un análisis del eurooptimismo

Este trabajo se centra en el análisis de la opinión pública hacia la integración Europea en Grecia,Portugal y España, países caracterizados por los altos niveles de eurooptimismo. En particular, el textoexamina los condicionantes de las actitudes positivas de los ciudadanos, a partir de las explicacionesofrecidas por la literatura, e indaga sobre el diferente impacto que determinadas variables ejercen sobreel eurooptimismo.
