Social Dilemmas and Indirect Reciprocity: A systematic review

Indirect reciprocity is an evolutionary theory of altruism and cooperation in social dilemmas. Its explanation of cooperation incorporates information on the reputation people hold of other people regarding whether they are cooperative or not. This study systematically reviewed the current empirical literature on indirect reciprocity in social dilemma situations. The following databases were consulted: ScienceDirect, EBSCO, and OVID, using has key words "indirect reciprocity" AND "dilemma" OR "cooperation" OR "charity". Twenty-three articles were selected which met the inclusion criteria (papers written in English and studies whose methodology was based on experimental games) and the theories, objectives, the main types of samples used, and main results were analyzed. The results show that the games used were the indirect reciprocity and public goods games, which may vary according to the objectives. It was found that reputation is a key variable that helps to promote cooperation. In turn, information on previous cooperation helps to build reputation, which is subsequently involved in the decision to cooperate with others. Finally, we highlight the need for more experimental studies that incorporate other explanatory variables and evaluate them in new contexts

Revisando la literatura académica sobre Altmetrías : ¿Nueva tendencia en los Estudios Métricos de Información y en la Evaluación Científica?

El trabajo realiza una revisión de la literatura académica sobre altmetrías publicada en revistas internacionales indizadas en Scopus abarcando el período 2010-2014. En primer lugar se presenta un análisis bibliométrico con el objetivo de identificar el volumen de la producción, así como los principales autores, revistas, instituciones, y conceptos relacionados con este nuevo campo de estudios. Luego se realiza un abordaje cualitativo en el que se analiza el contenido de los estudios en un intento por conocer la naturaleza de las investigaciones, el tipo de estrategia metodológica utilizada, conceptual o empírica, y a partir de esa categorización identificar qué se plantean estos estudios, qué indicadores y herramientas se utilizan, qué limitaciones se presentan y cuáles son las perspectivas futuras de cara a la utilización de las altmetrías como medidas de evaluación del impacto de la ciencia en la web social.Fil: Arias, Romina R.. Characterization of the spatio-temporal variation of atmospheric pollution. WRF-Chem simulations and analysis potential sources contribution on the Central Andes

The Central Andes are an area located in South America, between latitudes 30 ° and 40 ° south. It is important because it contains the largest metropolitan area in Chile, Santiago and the fourth largest city in Argentina, Mendoza. According to climate predictions, this region would be very affected by climate change, which would cause an alteration of the relationships between liquidand solid precipitation, albedo variations, changes in the seasonal distribution of Andean fluvial spills and overtaking in runoff peaks. Due to the possible socioeconomic impacts in the region, it is necessary to design and implement adaptation strategies for these anticipated changes. An accurate prediction requires a correct representation of atmospheric conditions, their development and evolution. Recent studies conducted by our research group show that thepresence of atmospheric aerosols would be related to the negative trend variations of albedo in the snow during the last 17 years, which leads to an increase in the thaw rate. Even so, there is a high degree of uncertainty about the identification and characterization of the sources of origin of the aerosols that contribute most to the darkening of the snow. In addition, the particulatematerial, depending on its size, quantity and chemical composition, could modify the constitution of the clouds, reducing the precipitation of rain or snow and increasing the formation of hail. The physics and dynamics of this type of events can be understood through the use of mesoscale models. In this work, inventories of regional anthropogenic emissions of own elaboration are incorporated to the simulations carried out with the WRF-Chem model to studythe relationships: aerosols-albedo and aerosols-precipitations. The objective is to recognize the retro-trajectories that indicate potential sources of contamination, and to improve the modeling with own measurements, made for the criteria pollutants: PM, BC, OC and dust.Fil: Pascual Flores, Romina María. Dataset supporting the estimation and analysis of high spatial resolution inventories of atmospheric emissions from several sectors in Argentina

This data article provides an extensive and complete description of the high spatial resolution inventory (HSRI) estimation shown in the article “High resolution inventory of atmospheric emissions from livestock production, agriculture, and biomass burning sectors of Argentina” Puliafito et al. [1], and its comparison with several sectors in Argentina. The dataset provided are highresolution inventories (0.025 0.025 lat/long) for CO2, CH4, N2O and another 8 species from livestock, biomass burning, agriculture and another 12 sectors (based on 2016 year). In addition, we also provide the database for 2014 using the same methodology. The dataset presented are necessary to improve input inventories for air quality models. Introducción: En la actualidad los avances tecnológicos y proliferación de la imagen son dos propiedades importantes para el proceso de comunicación y valor documental. Es por eso que la fotografía se ha convertido en una herramienta muy importante en la odontología, no solo para el paciente, que podrá ver los mejores resultados sino a demás, para el odontólogo como documento y seguimiento del caso. Objetivos: 1. introducir al odontólogo en el mundo de la fotografía y la importancia en el análisis fotográfico. 2. Incorporar conocimientos del manejo de retractores y espejos en el momento de la fotografía. Material y métodos: la metodología utilizada consistió en la revisión bibliográfica y evidencia publicada en los últimos cinco años, aplicando un método descriptivo y narrativo. Resultados: De acuerdo con los criterios establecidos se ha informado al odontólogo sobre fotografía y su importancia. Manejo de elementos auxiliares. Y la recomendación respecto a la toma de imagen. Conclusión: La captura de imagen nos permite acompañar los diagnósticos y tratamientos, optimizando el trabajo en los consultorios, como así también lograr un material que documente y archive cada caso clínico. Además permite la evaluación del caso clínico, tener un mayor registro, y ver con el paciente los cambios y evolución del tratamiento.Introduction: Currently, technological advances and the proliferation of the image are two important properties for the process of communication and documentary value. That is why photography becomes a very important tool in dentistry, not only the patient, who will be able to see the best results but also, for the dentist as a document and follow-up of the case. Análisis del impacto de las estrategias de comunicación digital generadas por la Orquesta Sinfónica de Cuenca hacia su público externo

La presente investigación comprendió la problemática centrada en la gestión de estrategias digitales externas de comunicación. El principal reto se encuentra en implementar tácticas que emitan contenido de valor por los canales correctos, para así llegar a la audiencia meta eficientemente. El objetivo general fue analizar el impacto de las estrategias de comunicación digital generadas por la Orquesta Sinfónica de Cuenca hacia su público externo. Así también, se plantearon tres objetivos específicos. El primero consistió en caracterizar las estrategias de comunicación en las organizaciones que se ocupan del ámbito musical. Para posteriormente diagnosticar las estrategias de comunicación digital generadas por la Orquesta Sinfónica de Cuenca hacia su público externo. Y, finalmente diseñar líneas directivas de comunicación digital externa para la Orquesta Sinfónica de Cuenca a partir del diagnóstico. La metodología estuvo basada en un enfoque mixto, guiada por el teórico Daniel Barredo. Para el ámbito cualitativo se utilizaron las entrevistas a cuatro expertos en comunicación, junto con la revisión de documentación académica para complementar la indagación. De igual forma, se utilizó la técnica de la observación, siendo el universo la página web de la OSC y sus redes de: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter y YouTube. Asimismo, en el campo cuantitativo a través de un muestreo por conveniencia se aplicaron 120 encuestas a la ciudadanía para conocer su percepción sobre las estrategias digitales. Los resultados indicaron que el impacto del público externo sobre las estrategias que genera la institución se encuentra en una escala entre bueno y eficiente. Sin embargo, la observación y las entrevistas denotan una necesidad de profesionalización en el uso de recursos y escenarios virtuales.The present investigation understood the problem centered on the management of external digital communication strategies. The main challenge is to implement tactics that broadcast valuable content through the correct channels, to reach the target audience efficiently. So, the general objective was to analyze the impact of the digital communication strategies generated by the Cuenca Symphony Orchestra on its external public. Likewise, three specific objectives were proposed. The first consisted in characterizing the communication strategies in the organizations that deal with the musical field. To then diagnose the digital communication strategies generated by the Cuenca Symphony Orchestra towards its external audience. And, finally, to design guidelines for external digital communication for the Cuenca Symphony Orchestra based on the diagnosis. The methodology was based on a mixed approach, guided by the theoretician Daniel Barredo. For the qualitative field, interviews with four communication experts were used, along with the review of academic documentation to complement the inquiry. Also, the observation technique was used, the universe being the institution's website and its networks: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Likewise, in the quantitative field, through convenience sampling, 120 surveys were applied to citizens to determine their perception of the aforementioned digital strategies. The results indicated that the impact of the external public on the strategies generated by the institution is on a scale between good and efficient. Aerosols measurement as product of biomass burning on cryosphere in the Central Andes

The cryosphere on the Central Andes between Argentina and Chile is an important water reservoir; therefore, it is important to ensure the sustainability of this resource for the ecosystem and millions of people in this region. Then, the knowledge about hydrological cycle and the different phenomena that are affecting its radiative balance caused by absorbing aerosols of solar radiation, some of these aerosols can be generated by large burning of biomass, a practice that occurs during crop changes in the austral spring in South America. For this reason, it has been analyzed in several basins uses remote knowledge data for 17 years (2000 - 2016) and the analysis of variations on snow albedo, aerosol optical depth (ODA) and land surface temperature of several water basins of that region. The partial results indicate a negative tendency in the snow albedo decrease related to the AOD variations. The next step will be collect snow samples to measure levoglucosan, mannosan and galactosan to establish if there is on snow presence of aerosol from the biomass combustion and the type of biomass source.Fil: Bolaño Ortiz, Tomas Rafael.
