    Selulosa merupakan salah satu jenis polisakarida yang banyak ditemukan di alam. Polisakarida ini menyusun bagian terbesar dinding sel tumbuhan. Hidrolisis selulosa menghasilkan glukosa yang digunakan sebagai pemanis. Proses hidrolisis dapat dilakukan secara kimia atau secara enzimatis dengan selulase. Enzim selulase sendiri terdiri atas tiga macam enzim yang bekerja secara -Glukosidase. -Glukosidase merupakan unit enzim yang penting untuk menghasilkan produk glukosa dari pemecahan selobiosa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan pH, suhu dan konsentrasi substrat selobiosa yang optimum untuk aktivitas enzim - Glukosidase serta menentukan tingkat kejenuhan amonium sulfat yang dapat -Glukosidase yang tinggi. Bakteri yang digunakan adalah bakteri selulolitik Suttonela indologenes strain um3-m/12-2009 yang berasal dari bakteri saluran pencernaan Attacus atlas L. Presipitasi protein dilakukan dengan menggunakan ammonium sulfat secara bertingkat dengan kejenuhan 0-50%, 50-70%, dan 70-90%. Karakterisasi - Glukosidase dilakukan dengan melihat pengaruh pH, suhu dan konsenstrasi substrat selobiosa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa -Glukosidase memiliki aktivitas optimal pada pH 7, suhu 70oC serta konsentrasi substrat selobiosa yang optimum 15 mM. Presipitasi -Glukosidase optimum pada tingkat kejenuhan 70% dengan aktivitas spesifik sebesar 3,42 U/mg p rotein dibanding ekstrak kasarnya yaitu 2,39 U/mg protein. Others are teachers, relatives, even grandmothers at school and at home. Parents play an important role in determining the success of their children's education. They have important responsibilities and roles for children, among others, can be realized by guiding the continuity of children's home study in accordance with the programs that have been learned by children in school.     THE EFFECT OF IMPLEMENTING PODCAST IN ENHANCING STUDENTS’ SPEAKING ACHIEVEMENT IN THE FULLY DIGITAL ERA

    In the current century, the appropriation of technological platforms which requires new approaches for education should be fostered to today’s youth, often referred as digital natives, since they are growing up surrounded and immersed in rapid technological development. The purpose of the present study aims to investigate whether the implementation of technological platforms in language teaching and learning, focused on the implementation of podcast, helps the students to enhance their speaking achievement. This experimental study was administered to the eleventh grade students of science program in which they were assigned into experimental and control group randomly. To assess the students’ speaking performances in the post-test, analytic scoring rubric covering content, fluency, accuracy on pronunciation, grammar, and spelling was involved. From the data analysis, the value of significance column (2-tailed) was 0.025, which was lower than 0.05 (p<0.05). Consequently, the formulated null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. Regarding the result of this research, the implementation of podcast showed a significant effect on the eleventh grade students’ speaking achievement. Further, the implementation of podcast generated the students to be motivated and challenged in the speaking class. For future scope, the current study suggested that EFL students have to be familiarized with the integration of podcasting technology in language learning in order to get better gains in all language skills, viz.: listening, reading and writing as it showed a significant effect in this study

    PENGARUH BAKAT KHUSUS TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN KARIER SISWA DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS NEGERI PLUS PROVINSI RIAU

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bakat khusus terhadap perkembangan karier siswa di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri Plus Propinsi Riau. Jenis penelitian ini adalah korelasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa yang mempunyai bakat khusus yang mengikuti olimpiade sains yang berjumlah 60 siswa, sedangkan objek penelitian ini adalah pengaruh bakat khusus terhadap perkembangan karier siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa yang mempunyai bakat khusus yang mengikuti olimpiade sains yang berjumlah 60 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan rumus regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terbukti bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara bakat khusus terhadap perkembangan karier siswa di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri Plus Propinsi Riau yakni sebesar 0,499 dengan tingkat probabilitas 0,000. Hal ini diperoleh dari > pada taraf signifikan 5% dan 1% ( 0,250 0,325 ). Besar persentase pengaruh bakat khusus terhadap perkembangan karier siswa sebesar 24,9% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 75,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini.     NGARAS: SEBUAH KAJIAN ANTROPOLINGUISTIK TENTANG NILAI-NILAI KEARIFAN LOKAL DALAM LEKSIKON UPACARA ADAT DI KECAMATAN CILILIN KABUPATEN BANDUNG BARAT

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya upacara adat Ngaras yang merupakan bagian dari kebudayaan yang mengandung leksikon-leksikon. Bahasa dan kebudayaan merupakan dua hal yang tidak bisa dipisahkan. Upacara adat Ngaras yang diteliti adalah upacara adat Ngaras di Kecamatan Cililin, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Lokasi tersebut merupakan salah satu daerah pedesaan yang kerap ditemukan adanya pelaksanaan upacara adat Ngaras. Adapun permasalahan pokok dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) klasifikasi dan deskripsi berdasarkan aspek lingual dan kultural, (2) fungsi leksikon, dan (3) nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam leksikon. Penelitian leksikon upacara adat Ngaras ini menggunakan pendekatan teoretis antropolinguistik dan metode kualitatif dengan model etnografi komunikasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada informan kunci yang mengetahui pelaksanaan upacara adat Ngaras di Kecamatan Cililin, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi partisipan, teknik simak libat cakap, serta teknik rekam. Berikut adalah hasil penelitian yang dapat dideskripsikan secara singkat. Leksikon yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini berjumlah 133 leksikon. Pertama, klasifikasi berdasarkan bentuk lingual secara garis besar terdiri atas (1) kata dan (2) frasa. Kategori kata terdiri atas kata nomina dan kata verba. Sementara itu, kategori frasa terdiri atas kategori frasa nomina dan frasa verba. Kedua, klasifikasi berdasarkan fungsi leksikon terdiri atas (1) fungsi sosial, (2) fungsi ritual, (3) fungsi edukasi, (4) fungsi religius, (5) fungsi ekonomi, dan (6) fungsi psikologi. Ketiga, nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang terkandung dalam leksikon upacara adat Ngaras yang meliputi cerminan kearifan lokal yang berdimensi vertikal dan nilai kearifan lokal yang berdimensi Nilai kearifan lokal yang berdimensi vertikal adalah adanya nilai-nilai religius agar manusia tetap bersyukur kepada Allah Swt, dan nilai kearifan lokal yang berdimensi horizontal dapat telihat dari nilai-nilai berikut ini (1) orang Sunda kreatif, (2) orang Sunda bijak memanfaatkan alam, (3) orang Sunda menjaga silaturahmi dengan sesamanya, (3) orang Sunda mengenal kasih sayang. The background of this research is existence of Ngaras which the part of culture have contain lexicons. Language and culture is two things which cann’t sparated. Ngaras traditional ceremony which be inspected is Ngaras in Kecamatan Cililin, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. That location is a village which often be discovered Ngaras. The important problem in that research are (1) clasification and description of lingual aspect, (2) lexicon function, and (3) local genius value in lexicon. This research used the study of antropolinguistics and kualitative metodh with etnography comunication model. The resource data in this research is focused by the key informan who know about Ngaras in Kecamatan Cililin, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. The colletive data technique of this research is observation partisipant technique, interview, and record technique. This following is result of the research which can describe shortly. Total lexicon of Ngaras in Kecamatan Cililin, Kabupaten Bandung Barat is 133 lexicon. First, clasification based on lingual aspect, lexicons consisting of (1) word and (2) phrase. Second, clasification based on lexicon function cosisting of (1) social function, (2) ritual function, (3) education function, (4) religius function, (5) economic function, and (6) psicologic function. Third, the local genius value wich be contained in lexicon of Ngaras is take in the reflection of vertical dimension and horizontal dimension. The vertical dimension is existence of religius value in order to human be grateful to Allah Swt.     This study aims to analyze the positioning of fast food restaurants in Indonesia. the number of samples collected was 60 respondents. The research instrument used in collecting data in this study was using a questionnaire filled out by respondents and a Likert scale. while for technical data analysis used is discriminant. The results of the study show that the positioning maps of fasfood brands A, B, C, and D are known to have different positions. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Attributes that are considered important by consumers. (2) Brand A is good in terms of Drive Thru (3) Brand B is good in terms of taste. (4) Brand C is good in terms of taste. (5) Brand D is good in both attributes that are considered important, namely Taste and Drive Thru, so it must maintain and improve the service quality and speed of Drive Thru and improve the taste so that it can be superior in the minds of consumers

    The accounting industry is considered a good career choice and the ideal outcome for accounting graduates. However, the number of public accountants has decreased recently. The public accounting profession is declining due to several causes, including the need for more laws and legal protection for the industry, accounting reporting, and the small market share for audit services. The identification, screening, and selection phases of the systematic literature review process were used in this study to review previous research. The data analysis utilized in this study was predicated on the basis of the 21 papers that were found in the Google Scholar database and dated from 2006 to 2023. Students' decisions to pursue a career in public accounting are influenced by a number of different factors, according to the findings of a comprehensive evaluation of all of the research that was published between the years 2006 and 2023. Academics less frequently use regression to manage data than SEM analysis.     Characteristic Body Mass Index and Nutrition Knowledge of Snack Food School-Age Children Among Elementary School Students at SD Ciawi Jatinangor

    AbstractIntroduction. Lack of nutrient in school age children in several times had implication in abnormal increasing body weight and height related with their growth.  Snack food school –age children had contribute 15-20% from total  daily nutrien consumption. Aim of this study  is to describe characteristic body mass index and nutrition knowledge about healty snack food school age. Method.Collecting primary data with cross sectional descriptive study  comes from questionnaire, measurement of body weight and height.Number of total sampling 33 participants from grade 5 elementary school   Ciawi Jatinangor. The questionnaire were asked about characteristics participants, nutritional knowledge and their reasoning and preference for variety of snack food school-age children. It also include question about their self efficacy about their knowledge.  Results The result shows most of participants, male and female  in underweight status. The mostly reasoning choice snacking school variety cause of their tastefull, cheaper and  umami. Number they pocket money not correlated with their skill to choices variety of school snacking. Conclusion. The present study revealed that, 36% and 39%  of boys  and girls respectively were having underweight BMI with lack of healthy characteristical  knowledge of  snack food school aged. Participants tends to show good self efficacy about their snacking food. Salah satu pemenuhan zat gizi harian yang penting adalah lewat kontribusi zat gizi Pangan Jajanan Anak Sekolah(PJAS) antara 15-20%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran karakteristik status gizi (body mass index) dan tingkat pengetahuan PJAS pada anak sekolah dasar di Jatinangor.. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian potong lintang deskriptif dengan menggunakan data primer melalui kuesioner dan pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan.Jumlah total sampling yang diambil sekitar 33 orang siswa kelas 4 SD Ciawi Jatinangor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar siswa berada pada status gizi kurang (underweight) baik pada laki-laki maupun perempuan. Alasan terbesar para siswa memilih jenis makanan PJAS adalah karena rasanya enak dan harganya murah. Besaran uang saku yang mereka bawa setiap harinya tidak berkorelasi dengan ketrampilan mereka dalam menentukan jenis PJAS. Perlu kerjasama yang baik antara pihak sekolah, orangtua murid dan pedagang makanan di ingkungan sekolah untuk membentuk prilaku jajan yang baik dan self efficacy yang baik pada siswa.Kata kunci :Body Mass Index, karakteristik pengetahuan jajanan , pangan jajanan anak sekolah

    Production of Adventitious Root and Saponin of Talinum paniculatum(Jacq.) Gaertn. in Temporary Immersion Bioreactor.

    This research is conducted to identify the effects of immersion length and interval on Talinum paniculatum (Jacq.) Gaertn adventitious roots’ biomass and saponin content in temporary immersion bioreactor. Immersion intervals used in this research are 3, 6, and 12 hours with immersion lengths 1, 3, 5, and 7 minutes. Adventitious roots were induced from leaf explants grown on MS medium added by IBA 2 mg/L. Two grams adventitious root are cultured in temporary immersion bioreactor with each treatment and kept for 28 days. Results of this research indicated different biomass and saponin content caused by each treatment. The best combination was found on immersion length of 5 minutes and 12 hours interval which resulting 3.67 g fresh weight, growth speed 0.027 g/day, spot area of saponin 12.56 mm2/0.01 g dry-weight, and spot area thickness scale 4+

    THE EFFECT OF ONLINE LEARNING ON STUDENTS’ WRITING CREATIVITY IN WRITING DESCRIPTIVE TEXT ABOUT LOCAL TOURISM

    As a result of the pandemic, the best alternative to support formal learning activities is online learning, and it is believed to affect students' creativity in writing. The research aims to discover the effect of online learning on students' creativity in writing descriptive texts about local tourism. The methodology used by researchers in this research is a true-experimental method with a quantitative approach. This study uses a type of post-test-only control class design. There are two clases in this experiment design, each selected randomly. After conducting the study, researchers found a significant difference in grades between classes that received online learning treatment (experimental classes) and classes that were not (Control classes), where the experimental class scores were higher than the control class. So, the conclusion is that online learning has a good Effect on students' creativity in writing descriptive texts about local tourism
