The Virgilian Cento Progne et Philomela (Anth. Lat. 13 R) : Towards a Solution for a Mythological Riddle

This paper deals with the 24-line mythological epyllion Progne et Philomela (Anth. Lat. 13 R), fashioned out of Virgil´s lines. The aim is to shed some light on the most intriguing parts of the poem, in particular the puzzling network of family relationships and the extended talking-blood metaphor. It is claimed that the general ambiguity of the text is a purposefully adopted authorial strategy rather than a by-product of the cento technique and that the cento might have been written as a sort of mythological riddle to be solved by its readers.Článek se věnuje krátkému mytologickému epylliu Progne et Philomela (Anth. Lat. 13 R), složenému z Vergiliových veršů. Cílem je osvětlit nejobskurnější části této anonymní básně, zejména záhadnou síť rodinných vztahů a obsáhlou metaforu mluvící krve. Podle autorky je celková víceznačnost textu spíše záměrnou autorskou strategií nežli vedlejším efektem centonární techniky, a cento proto mohl být koncipován jako mytologická hádanka určená k rozluštění čtenářům

The aim of this thesis is to identify the satisfaction of medical staff with provided employee benefits through written questioning. Tax impacts of employee's benefits are outlined and analysis of dependence of selected qualitive characters is performed in the thesis as well. Based on detected informations, the current situation is assessesed and changes which can lead to an increase in employee's satisfaction, as well as to an improvement of the system of benefit provision, are proposed

Problems of projects co-financed by the ESF via Operational Programme Human Resources and Employment and the state budget of the Czech Republic

Předložená práce je zaměřena na problematiku projektů financovaných z Evropských strukturálních fondů. Charakterizuje strukturu fondů i způsob jejich financování, hlavně v uplynulém období 2007 - 2013 a konstatuje, že nové programové období zatím není připraveno. Představuje Karlovarský kraj, projekty, využívané krajem, jež jsou podpořeny Operačním programem Lidské zdroje a zaměstnanost a shledává, že tyto projekty opravdu určitým lidem pomáhají. Je také představen Úřad práce ČR, krajská pobočka v Karlových Varech. Dále se konkrétně zaměřuje na projekt Nový začátek v Karlovarském kraji a po rozboru průběhu projektu zjišťuje, že mezi jednotlivými kontaktními pracovišti jsou velké rozdíly. Následuje návrh pro zlepšení průběhu projektu, který by výrazně zkrátil dobu fungování projektu a umožnil větší počet realizovaných projektů. Nezaměstnanost je celoevropský problém, situace se příliš nelepší, a proto je užitečné každé zlepšení.Katedra financí a účetnictvíObhájenoThe present work is focused on an issue of projects financed from the European Structural Funds. It characterizes a structure of funds and their financing, especially in the past period 2007-2013 and states that a new programme period is not prepared yet. It represents the Karlovy Vary region, projects used by the region which are supported by the Operational Programme Resources and Employment and finds that these projects really help some people. There is also introduced The Labour Office of Czech Republic, the regional branch in Karlovy Vary. Furthermore it specifically focuses on the project New Beginning in the Karlovy Vary Region and after analysis of the project's progress determines that among individual contact workplaces are big differences. Then follows a suggestion for improving the project's progress which would significantly shorten the project's operation time and allows a larger number of realized projects. An unemployment is Europe-wide problem and the situation has not improved too and therefore is helpful each improvement
