    Course Management System Dengan Perkiraan Jumlah Kelas Mata Kuliah Dengan K-means Dan K-medoids

    Aplikasi penawaran jumlah kelas mata kuliah merupakan aplikasi yang dibuat dengan menggunakan metode k-means dan k-medoids untuk menghasilkan penawaran jumlah kelas mata kuliah yang optimal. Studi kasus yang digunakan dalam aplikasi adalah penjadwalan Fakultas Teknologi Informasi Universitas Tarumanagara. Metode k-Means dan k-Medoids digunakan untuk memperoleh banyaknya kelas yang perlu ditawarkan pada semester baru. Aplikasi ini dibuat menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan Mysql sebagai basis data. Perhitungan yang dilakukan pada aplikasi ini diawali dengan menggunakan algoritma pooled untuk menentukan jumlah cluster yang akan di gunakan. Setelah jumlah cluster telah ditemukan maka perhitungan selanjutnya menggunakan metode K-Means dan K-Medoids, hasil perhitungan dari kedua metode ini dipilih paling baik menggunakan nilai varians yang paling kecil. Aplikasi ini menggunakan metode bllackbox testing dalam proses pengujian. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa hasil rekomendasi dengan hasil daftar kelas mata kuliah yang sudah berjalan pada semester Ganjil 2015 dan Genap 2015 memiliki beberapa hampir setengah data yang berbeda. Data yang dihasilkan oleh fitur penawaran jumlah kelas memiliki efisiensi pada jumlah mahasiswa pada setiap kelasnya yaitu tidak melebihi dari 40 mahasiswa

    Abstrak - Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk membuat desain dari sistem informasi manajemen sediaan yang berfokus dalam membantu pengambilan putusan pada proses pembelian dan penjualan agar dapat akurat, tepat waktu, dan relevan pada PT Sumber Ria Balikpapan. Desain ini menggunakan metode Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Terdapat 7 tahap dalam metode SDLC, yaitu perencanaan (planning), analisis (analysis), desain (design), pengembangan (development), uji coba (testing), pelaksanaan (implementation), dan pengelolaan (maintenance). SDLC tersebut merupakan proses pembuatan dan pengubahan sistem serta model yang digunakan untuk menunjang aktivitas yang sudah ada, yaitu proses pembelian dan penjualan agar dapat berjalan sesuai yang diperkirakan. Data yang digunakan diperoleh langsung dari pemilik. Hasil dari desain ini adalah rancangan sistem informasi manajemen sediaan yang sudah siap untuk digunakan agar dapat membantu pengambilan putusan pada proses pembelian dan penjualan agar dapat akurat, tepat waktu, dan relevan pada PT Sumber Ria Balikpapan.     When playing a Real Time Strategy(RTS) game against the non-human player(bot) it is important that the bot can do different strategies to create a challenging experience over time. In this thesis we aim to improve the way the bot can predict what strategies the player is doing by analyzing the replays of the given players games. This way the bot can change its strategy based upon the known knowledge of the game state and what strategies the player have used before. We constructed a Bayesian Network to handle the predictions of the opponent's strategy and inserted that into a preexisting bot. Based on the results from our experiments we can state that the Bayesian Network adapted to the strategies our bot was exposed to. In addition we can see that the Bayesian Network only predicted the possible strategies given the obtained information about the game state.INFO390MASV-INF

    The research aims to enhance the activity of learning and communication skills in learning science through the implementation of strategies Student Facilitator and Explaining. This type of research qualitative with other research design Measures (PTK). The subjects were students of class IV, totaling 19 students. Data were analyzed using interactive analysis consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the results obtained during the study of pre-cycle, the first cycle and the second cycle continues to increase. The results obtained from the indicators the activeness study: (1) active participation by asking the question 26, 32%, 47, 37% and 78, 95%, (2) active participation by answering question 21, 05%, 36, 85% and 76, 32%, (3) The active participation by discussing the lessons to his 31, 58%, 55, 25% and 89, 48%. While the indicator of the ability of communication: (1) Delivering material / results in class (presentations) 36, 84%, 50, 00% and 78, 95%, (2) Asking his opinion 26, 32%, 36, 85% and 76, 30%, (3) Commenting and provide feedback (refute) 21, 05%, 43, 11% and 76, 32%.     Risk Factors for Delayed Diagnosis of Subarachnoid and Intracerebral Hemorrhage

    To identify risk factors for delayed diagnosis of subarachnoid (SAH) or intracerebral (ICH) hemorrhage in younger patients (ages 18 - 49), we performed a subsidiary case-control study among 702 subjects from the Hemorrhagic Stroke Project (HSP). Case subjects were the 54 HSP patients (7.7%) who did not receive an appropriate diagnostic evaluation (brain CT scan, and if CT negative, LP) within 24 hours of consulting a physician for symptoms consistent with hemorrhagic stroke. For each case subject with a delayed diagnosis, we identified two subjects from the HSP with a prompt diagnosis, all successfully matched on recruitment site. We calculated odds ratios (ORs) for the association between risk factors and delayed diagnosis. Four features were associated with risk for delayed diagnosis (criteria: OR =2.0 or =0.5): initial evaluation in a physician\u27s office (OR=23.1), absence of alarm symptoms (photophobia, loss of consciousness, focal weakness) (OR=4.6), no effortful activity preceding focal time (OR=5.5), and Hispanic ethnicity (OR=2.4). Risk factors associated with delayed diagnosis were different in patients who presented to the hospital compared to patients who presented to an office. In a separate analysis, risk factors associated with delayed diagnosis were different for patients with SAH compared with patients with ICH. In conclusion, patients with SAH or ICH are at greater risk for a delay in their diagnosis if they do not have alarm symptoms, especially if they present to an office rather than a hospital emergency department. Efforts to reduce delayed diagnosis should be directed at primary care physicians who see low-risk patients with milder symptoms. Our findings also indicate that there are different risk factors associated with delayed diagnosis of hemorrhagic stroke based on location of presentation and on stroke type. Future research to understand and prevent delayed diagnosis must consider location of presentation and stroke type

    Long time well-posedness of Whitham-Boussinesq systems

    Under embargo until: 2023-11-08Consideration is given to three different full dispersion Boussinesq systems arising as asymptotic models in the bi-directional propagation of weakly nonlinear surface waves in shallow water. We prove that, under a non-cavitation condition on the initial data, these three systems are well-posed on a time scale of order O( 1 ε ), where ε is a small parameter measuring the weak non-linearity of the waves. For one of the systems, this result is new even for short time. The two other systems involve surface tension, and for one of them, the non-cavitation condition has to be sharpened when the surface tension is small. The proof relies on suitable symmetrizers and the classical theory of hyperbolic systems. However, we have to track the small parameters carefully in the commutator estimates to get the long time well-posedness. Finally, combining our results with the recent ones of Emerald provide a full justification of these systems as water wave models in a larger range of regimes than the classical (a, b, c, d)-Boussinesq systems.acceptedVersio
