    We honored the historians of St. Volodymyr University Professors P. V. Pavlov, O. I. Stavrovsky, V. Ya. Shul`gin. We analyzed the historiography of the second half of the XIX – the beginning of the XXI century which is devoted to the study of life, teaching, and scientific activity of these teachers. We proved that the period of teaching and scientific activity of P. V. Pavlov, O. I. Stavrovsky, V. Ya. Shul`gin at the St. Volodymyr University from the end of 40's till the middle of 60's of the XIX century was the time of the second period of formation of the School of Historians of the St. Volodymyr University of the XIX century. We noted that historians of the St. Volodymyr University of the XIX century P. V. Pavlov, O. I. Stavrovsky, V. Ya. Shul`gin were among the founders of Ukrainian historical education and science. We emphasized that the study of the history of the formation and development of the School of Historians of the St. Volodymyr University of the XIX century has the great importance for understanding the formation and development of University historic education and science in the XIX at the beginning of the XXI centuries in general.Keywords: P.     Direct current driven by ac electric field in quantum wells

    It is shown that the excitation of charge carriers by ac electric field with zero average driving leads to a direct electric current in quantum well structures. The current emerges for both linear and circular polarization of the ac electric field and depends on the field polarization and frequency. We present a micoscopic model and an analytical theory of such a nonlinear electron transport in quantum wells with structure inversion asymmetry. In such systems, dc current is induced by ac electric field which has both the in-plane and out-of-plane components. The ac field polarized in the interface plane gives rise to a direct current if the quantum well is subjected to an in-plane static magnetic field.Comment: 6 pages, 3 figure

    We consider functional operators with shift in weighted Hölder spaces. The main result of the work is the proof of the conditions of invertibility for these operators. We also indicate the forms of the inverse operators. As an application, we propose to use these results for the solution of equations with shift encountered in the study of cyclic models for natural systems with renewable resources.Розглядаються функціональні оператори із зсувом у просторах Гельдера з вагою.     Ultrastructure of meristem and root cap of pea seedlings under spaceflight conditions

    Data of electron microscopic analysis of meristem and root cap of pea seedlings grown aboard the Salyut-6 orbital research station in the Oazis apparatus and in the laboratory are presented. The main morphological and anatomical characteristics of the test and control plants are shown to be similar. At the same time, some differences are found in the structural and functional organization of the experimental cells as compared to the controls. They concern first of all the plastic apparatus, mitochondria and Golgi apparatus. It is assumed that cell function for certain periods of weightlessness on the whole ensures execution of the cytodifferentiation programs genetically determined on the Earth.     Quality indicators of fish from the water of the southern region of Ukraine

    A study of the fish caught in the reservoirs of the Khadzhibey estuary (Odesa region) was conducted in order to determine its quality and safety according to microbiological indicators. No pathogenic or conditionally pathogenic microorganisms were found in all the fish samples studied – mirror carp (Cyprinus carpio) and round goby (Neogobius melanostomus). During the study of physico-chemical indicators of water quality and safety of the estuary, water samples were taken for the content of pesticides, insecticides and heavy metals. The content of cadmium, copper, lead and mercury does not exceed the permissible level for fish farms, zinc exceeds the maximum permissible concentration by 2.3 – 3.0 % (depending on the period of the year). The insecticide dichlorodiphenyltrichloromethylmethane was found in the water, the content of which exceeds the maximum allowable concentration for sea fishing ponds by 18 %, and the pesticide beta-hexochlorocyclohexane – by 5.2 %. It has been studied and established that the fish caught in the estuary, according to its microbiological and physicochemical indicators, is safe, does not pose a threat to the health of people and animals, and is suitable for further use and consumption

    A preparative approach to the synthesis of 2-hetaryl thiazoles has been developed via the interaction of halothiazoles with stannanes according to the Stille reaction. The most effective catalysts and reaction conditions have been found. It has been determined that the formation of by-products occurs due to specific interaction of the corresponding stannanes with the carbonyl group. The by-products have been isolated and characterized. The mechanism of this interaction with the carbonyl group has not been described in literature. The 2-hetaryl thiazoles obtained have great potential as new building blocks for medicinal chemistry and as ligands due to their complexing properties.Розроблено препаративний підхід до синтезу 2-гетарилтіазолів, що полягає у взаємодії галогенотіазолів зі станнанами за реакцією Стілле. Визначено найбільш ефективні каталізатори та умови проведення реакції. З’ясовано, що за рахунок специфічної взаємодії відповідних станнанів з карбонільною групою відбувається утворення побічних продуктів, які виділили та схарактеризували. Механізм такої взаємодії з карбонільною групою в літературі не описано. Завдяки своїм комплексоутворювальним властивостям отримані 2-гетарилтіазоли мають великий потенціал як нові будівельні блоки для медичної хімії та як ліганди
