Early intervention programs in Russia have spanned a short 25-year history. Serving as active participants in the development of Early Intervention programs in various regions of Russia and post-soviet countries and training of professionals has provided us the ability to oversee the progress of the Early Intervention system. This article will go on to present the process through which Early Intervention services have been established and developed. Development of early intervention programs can be considered as a dynamic process, which on the one hand, changes the lives of the families of young children with disabilities, and on another hand, alters the system of support and concrete early intervention services. The development of an early intervention service as a new model of family support is also a dynamic process and these processes mutually influence one another. The article analyzes the process of development on the example of the core principles of early intervention such as: interdisciplinary teamwork, family centered approach, normalization of life, and principle of scientifically reasonable and evidence based practice. Ours observations show that adherence to the principles of early intervention allows for the development of professional teams, thereby providing improvement of quality of the support programs created for children and their families.

The paper considers traditional methods for assessing the competitiveness of the hospitality industry. The analysis of economic and financial indicators of some Russian hotels is carried out. An algorithm for assessing the competitiveness of enterprises in the hotel sector based on a statistical analysis of economic and financial indicators is proposed. The study allowed the authors to assess the competitiveness of the hotel enterprises. One of the factors of competitiveness of the hotel industry is the financial-economic situation, which may also be called a financially stable position, financial stability, and financial competitiveness.&nbsp

The article discusses some methodological issues of evaluating financial stability and investment attractiveness of the hotel enterprises. The essence and the contents of the tasks dealing with the analysis of these categories, the known methods, the procedure of calculation of the indicators and their meaning are considered. The aim of this work is to analyze financial stability and investment attractiveness of the hotel business enterprises and to consider the theoretical aspects of this problem. For achieving this goal, methods of comparison and statistical methods were applied. The thesis has been formulated that for attracting financial resources an enterprise (organization) should have relatively stable values of a number of indicators, which confirm the sustainability of their development. The figures were calculated in dynamics from 2011 to 2015 basing on the hotel business reports data, with the help of the methodology of assessing financial stability and investment attractiveness of the company INEC

Teaching russian phraseology with the component of color term “black” to philology foreign students

The study of phraseology is an advanced direction of teaching methods of Russian as a foreign language. Any non-native speaker embarking on a study of Russian is faced with the problems of understanding the phraseological units that the Russian language is replete with. Language learners experience particular difficulties when using phraseological units with the color designation component “black” in a real-life communicative situation. The problem of understanding the phraseology of the Russian language is associated with the fact that representatives of different countries have knowledge of the phraseology of their native language that encompasses regional geography, linguoculturological, national concepts, which often do not coincide with similar phenomena in the Russian environment. This paper scientifically substantiates the methodological system for working with phraseological units in the study of Russian as a foreign language. It presents a system of scientifically grounded assignments for foreigners to learn Russian as a foreign language

Comparative Analysis of Approaches and Treatment Results of Patients with Early and Nonearly Rheumatoid Arthritis

The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of different therapy regimens impact on the effectiveness of treatment of patients with early and late rheumatoid arthritis in steady-state. Data on ongoing basis anti-inflammatory therapy of rheumatoid arthritis and the treatment of associated conditions were obtained by continuous copying from case histories of hospital department patients. The observations lasted 12 months. The activity of rheumatoid arthritis before and after the treatment was determined by the DAS 28 (Disease Activity Score) index. The treatment results were evaluated as per the laboratory research and the DAS 28 index, including the counting of painful and swollen joints, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and health assessment of the patient on a visual analogue scale

This study presents the main changes in the biochemical and hematological blood parameters of dogs and cats infected with toxocara. Presented data are based on the animal’s age and welfare. The authors conclude that the pattern of hematological disorders is most pronounced in young animals and proceeds with signs of general intoxication and sensibilizationof the body, hypoxia, anemia and damage to the internal organs (liver and pancreas). Keywords: hematological studies, biochemical studies, toxocariasis, Toxocara canis, T. cat

Cardiolipin-containing lipid membranes attract the bacterial cell division protein diviva

DivIVA is a protein initially identified as a spatial regulator of cell division in the model organism Bacillus subtilis, but its homologues are present in many other Gram-positive bacteria, including Clostridia species. Besides its role as topological regulator of the Min system during bacterial cell division, DivIVA is involved in chromosome segregation during sporulation, genetic competence, and cell wall synthesis. DivIVA localizes to regions of high membrane curvature, such as the cell poles and cell division site, where it recruits distinct binding partners. Previously, it was suggested that negative curvature sensing is the main mechanism by which DivIVA binds to these specific regions. Here, we show that Clostridioides difficile DivIVA binds preferably to membranes containing negatively charged phospholipids, especially cardiolipin. Strikingly, we observed that upon binding, DivIVA modifies the lipid distribution and induces changes to lipid bilayers containing cardiolipin. Our observations indicate that DivIVA might play a more complex and so far unknown active role during the formation of the cell division septal membrane

Real time monitoring of peptidoglycan synthesis by membrane-reconstituted penicillin binding proteins

Peptidoglycan is an essential component of the bacterial cell envelope that surrounds the cytoplasmic membrane to protect the cell from osmotic lysis. Important antibiotics such as β-lactams and glycopeptides target peptidoglycan biosynthesis. Class A penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) are bifunctional membrane-bound peptidoglycan synthases that polymerize glycan chains and connect adjacent stem peptides by transpeptidation. How these enzymes work in their physiological membrane environment is poorly understood. Here, we developed a novel Förster resonance energy transfer-based assay to follow in real time both reactions of class A PBPs reconstituted in liposomes or supported lipid bilayers and applied this assay with PBP1B homologues from Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Acinetobacter baumannii in the presence or absence of their cognate lipoprotein activator. Our assay will allow unravelling the mechanisms of peptidoglycan synthesis in a lipid-bilayer environment and can be further developed to be used for high-throughput screening for new antimicrobials
