Es un estudio no experimental y correlacional. Utiliza una población de 106 estudiantes de 5° grado. Los instrumentos son un cuestionario de 18 preguntas para la variable uso de TICs y uno de 25 preguntas para el aprendizaje en el área de comunicación. Encuentra una relación significativa y muy alta entre el uso de TICs y el aprendizaje del área de comunicación de los estudiantes. Existe una relación directa en función al coeficiente de correlación de rho de Spearman de 0,854, (donde p < de 0,05), lo que indica que las TICs permiten al docente generar un aprendizaje significativo en los estudiantes del 5to grado de primaria de la de la I.E.     The human brainome: network analysis identifies \u3ci\u3eHSPA2\u3c/i\u3e as a novel Alzheimer’s disease target

    Our hypothesis is that changes in gene and protein expression are crucial to the development of late-onset Alzheimer’s disease. Previously we examined how DNA alleles control downstream expression of RNA transcripts and how those relationships are changed in late-onset Alzheimer’s disease. We have now examined how proteins are incorporated into networks in two separate series and evaluated our outputs in two different cell lines. Our pipeline included the following steps: (i) predicting expression quantitative trait loci; (ii) determining differential expression; (iii) analysing networks of transcript and peptide relationships; and (iv) validating effects in two separate cell lines. We performed all our analysis in two separate brain series to validate effects. Our two series included 345 samples in the first set (177 controls, 168 cases; age range 65–105; 58% female; KRONOSII cohort) and 409 samples in the replicate set (153 controls, 141 cases, 115 mild cognitive impairment; age range 66–107; 63% female; RUSH cohort). Our top target is heat shock protein family A member 2 (HSPA2), which was identified as a key driver in our two datasets. HSPA2 was validated in two cell lines, with overexpression driving further elevation of amyloid-B40 and amyloid-B42 levels in APP mutant cells, as well as significant elevation of microtubule associated protein tau and phosphorylated-tau in a modified neuroglioma line. This work further demonstrates that studying changes in gene and protein expression is crucial to understanding late onset disease and further nominates HSPA2 as a specific key regulator of late-onset Alzheimer’s disease processes

    RNAi-Based Functional Genomics Identifies New Virulence Determinants in Mucormycosis

    Mucorales are an emerging group of human pathogens that are responsible for the lethal disease mucormycosis. Unfortunately, functional studies on the genetic factors behind the virulence of these organisms are hampered by their limited genetic tractability, since they are reluctant to classical genetic tools like transposable elements or gene mapping. Here, we describe an RNAi-based functional genomic platform that allows the identification of new virulence factors through a forward genetic approach firstly described in Mucorales. This platform contains a whole-genome collection of Mucor circinelloides silenced transformants that presented a broad assortment of phenotypes related to the main physiological processes in fungi, including virulence, hyphae morphology, mycelial and yeast growth, carotenogenesis and asexual sporulation. Selection of transformants with reduced virulence allowed the identification of mcplD, which encodes a Phospholipase D, and mcmyo5, encoding a probably essential cargo transporter of the Myosin V family, as required for a fully virulent phenotype of M. circinelloides. Knock-out mutants for those genes showed reduced virulence in both Galleria mellonella and Mus musculus models, probably due to a delayed germination and polarized growth within macrophages. This study provides a robust approach to study virulence in Mucorales and as a proof of concept identified new virulence determinants in M. circinelloides that could represent promising targets for future antifungal therapies

    Genetic landscape of 6089 inherited retinal dystrophies affected cases in Spain and their therapeutic and extended epidemiological implications

    Inherited retinal diseases (IRDs), defined by dysfunction or progressive loss of photoreceptors, are disorders characterized by elevated heterogeneity, both at the clinical and genetic levels. Our main goal was to address the genetic landscape of IRD in the largest cohort of Spanish patients reported to date. A retrospective hospital-based cross-sectional study was carried out on 6089 IRD affected individuals (from 4403 unrelated families), referred for genetic testing from all the Spanish autonomous communities. Clinical, demographic and familiar data were collected from each patient, including family pedigree, age of appearance of visual symptoms, presence of any systemic findings and geographical origin. Genetic studies were performed to the 3951 families with available DNA using different molecular techniques. Overall, 53.2% (2100/3951) of the studied families were genetically characterized, and 1549 different likely causative variants in 142 genes were identified. The most common phenotype encountered is retinitis pigmentosa (RP) (55.6% of families, 2447/4403). The most recurrently mutated genes were PRPH2, ABCA4 and RS1 in autosomal dominant (AD), autosomal recessive (AR) and X-linked (XL) NON-RP cases, respectively; RHO, USH2A and RPGR in AD, AR and XL for non-syndromic RP; and USH2A and MYO7A in syndromic IRD. Pathogenic variants c.3386G > T (p.Arg1129Leu) in ABCA4 and c.2276G > T (p.Cys759Phe) in USH2A were the most frequent variants identified. Our study provides the general landscape for IRD in Spain, reporting the largest cohort ever presented.     Trabajo académicoEn el presente plan de acción “Coaching educativo modelo para fortalecer la practica docente en las competencias modulares en la opcion ocupacional de peluquería del Cetpro “Nicolás de Piérola” se ha elaborado a partir de la problemática hallada en el diagnostic realizado, que las estudiantes de peluqueria tiene pocas habilidades en el desarrollo de las capacidades de responder ante una actividad que les corresponde en el area de peluqueria.lo que indica que se esta trabajando pocas estrategias para el desarrollo de las capacidades del area.Ante este diagnóstico como específicos tenemos optimizar los procesos pedagógicos, implementar estrategias de acompañamiento y optimizar el manejo de las estrategias del saber ser, cada de uno de los objetivos específicos harán que se cumpla el objetivo general, solo así se logra fortalecer el desempeño de los docentes en su práctica pedagógica. de realizar los referentes y experiencias en otras instituciones sean internacionales, nacionales, tesis o trabajos de investigación acción sobre el problema se arribó a trabajar con la estrategia de Coaching Educativo: modelo para fortalecer la práctica docente en las competencias modulares en la opción ocupacional de Peluquería y con ello cumplir todas las actividadas propuesta para el cumplimiento de los ojetivos planificados
