    Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendialogkan pemahaman Ahmad Syafi’i Ma’arif, seorang negarawan dan agamawan di Indonesia kontemporer, atas QS. an-Nisa: 34 dengan diskursus kesetaraan gender dalam mengkontekstualisasikan ajaran Islam di Indonesia, termasuk peran perempuan di ruang publik. Letak penting pemahaman Ahmad Syaf’i Ma’arif adalah kemampuannya dalam memberi sikap tengah, tidak konservatif dan tidak juga liberal, dalam mengemukakan spirit kepemimpinan perempuan menurut Islam dan Negara. Syafi’i Maarif menilai wacana konteks antara Arab-Indonesia tidak dapat diabaikan ketika pembaca teks hendak memahami kandungan QS. an-Nisa: 34. Perempuan Arab memiliki ruang dan dinamikanya sendiri, yang berbeda dengan perempuan di Indonesia, sehingga konteks ini berpengaruh dalam memahami al-Qur’an. Catatan kesetaraan gender Syafii Maarif adalah ada keadaan tertentu, seperti mengandung dan melahirkan, yang hanya dilakukan oleh perempuan. Upaya Ahmad Syafii Maarif dalam mengkontekstualisasikan QS. an-Nisa: 34 adalah kerja penting atas pembumian al-Qur’an sebagai pedoman (QS. al-Baqarah: 2 dan 185) ke dalam kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia, sehingga Islam yang rahmatan lil alamin dapat dirasakan dari segi pengangkatan peran perempuan di ruang publik.[This article aims to provide understanding of Ahmad Syafi’i Ma’arif, an Indonesian statesman and religious leader, over QS. An-Nisa: 34 with the discourse of gender equality in the contextualization of Islamic teachings in Indonesia, including the role of women in public space. The important point of understanding Ahmad Syaf’i Ma’arif is in his ability to give a central, non conservative and illiberal in raising the leadership spirit of women according to Islam and the state. Syafi’i Maarif assessed that the context discourse between Arab-Indonesia can not be ignored when the reader want to understand the content of QS. An-Nisa: 34. Arab women have its own space and dynamism, that is different from women in Indonesia, so this context is influential in understanding the Qur’an. The notion of the gender equality of Syafi’s Ma’arif is that there are certain circumstances, such as pregnant and childbirth, that only women can do.  The efforts of Ahmad Syafi’i Ma’arif in contextualizing QS. An- Nisa: 34 is an important work on the ground of the Qur’an as a guideline (QS. Al-Baqarah: 2 and 185) into the lives of Indonesian society, so that Islam, as rahmatan lil alamin, can be felt in terms of the female role in the public space.

Through this mini thesis, the researcher concludes: the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar is Qatar's Cultural Diplomacy As The First Muslim Country To Host The World Cup. Bargaining position as an organizer is used to clarify that Islam, which has been seen by the Western world as being attached to various acts of violence and terrorism, was refuted through cultural diplomacy carried out by Qatar in the 2022 world cup event. Where in this world cup event, Qatari culture with Islamic nuances is shown among others: Opening Ceremony with Islamic nuances, standard of courtesy of supporters, murals of hadith on the cool face of Islam, prayer areas near the stadium, Fast response to the Islamic Code in hotels, Islamic information services, exhibitions of the Islamic continent, muezzins with melodious voices, free food sharing , wearing the headscarf for female tourists, prohibiting alcoholic beverages, prohibiting LGBT symbols, and prohibiting gambling activities. Through the World Cup, Qatar competed for bargaining position before FIFA, proving the beauty of Islam while breaking down the stigma of the West. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji t, diperoleh harga thitung= 3,529 dan ttabel= 1,671.     Bacaan Alquran Orang dengan Hambatan Bicara: Perspektif Kelisanan Alquran

    This article discusses the reading of the Quran by those having speech impediments. This topic has yet to be studied in the study of persons with disabilities and in the study of the Koran. Reading the Quran is an important part a Muslim’s life, including people with speech impediments. Using the analytical-descriptive method, the study answers the question what is the position of people with speech impediments in the context of reading the Qur'an properly and correctly? This article argues that the readings of people with speech impediments should be accepted, not as a rukhsah, as they have their own way of reading based on the oral side of the Qur'an. This article redefines the reading of the Quran and criticizes the standardization of good and correct reading of the Quran which has neglected the condition of people with speech impediments. As an oral text, the reading of the Koran is based on the voice of the reader, not on the clarity of the sound of the letters. Artikel ini membahas bacaan Alquran bagi orang dengan hambatan bicara, dengan menggunakan perspektif kelisanan Alquran. Topik ini masih luput dikaji dalam kajian penyandang disabilitas maupun kajian Alquran. Padahal, membaca Alquran menjadi bagian penting dalam kehidupan seorang muslim, termasuk orang dengan hambatan bicara. Menggunakan metode deskripsi-analitis, kajian menjawab pertanyaan bagaimana kedudukan orang dengan hambatan bicara dalam konteks membaca Alquran dengan baik dan benar? Melalui deskripsi dan analisis terhadap bacaan Alquran, artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa bacaan orang dengan hambatan bicara yang sebelumnya dipandang sebagai bacaan yang mendapat rukhsah atau functional reception, mempunyai cara baca tersendiri dengan berlandaskan pada sisi kelisanan Alquran. Artikel ini melakukan redefinisi terhadap bacaan Alquran dan mengkritik standarisasi bacaan Alquran yang baik dan benar yang telah mengabaikan kondisi orang-orang dengan hambatan bicara.     This article will contextualize the teachings of Islam from Arabic to Indonesia by linking them to the Islam Nusantara. This article will also show the moderate Islamic style displayed by Islam Nusantara. As for analyzing, this paper uses a descriptive-analytical method using contextualization theory, namely the search for understanding of Islamic teachings by involving context, as a knife of analysis. Some of the research results achieved by this paper are the contextualization of Islamic teachings from Arabic to Indonesia that has been carried out since the early spread of Islam in Indonesian soil as practiced by Walisongo. The spread of Islam in Indonesia did not bring about Arabic discourse, but found Islamic teachings (God's message) that were spread in Arab society, then applied in the context of Indonesian society. Furthermore, Islam Nusantara always displays the true spirit of Islam, spreads Islam peacefully, is tolerant of the differences faced, and maintains a wushta (moderate) attitude in addressing life's problems

    Local Community-based Tourism in The Frame Institutional Theory

    The tourism sector is a strategic and superior sector that is the focus of development in supporting the regional economy of Merauke Regency. The tourist attractions of Merauke Regency include natural tourism, cultural tourism and artificial tourism. The wealth of tourism owned can be the main capital in the economic development of Merauke Regency. In addition, its tourism wealth also places Merauke Regency in a strategic position in the tourism constellation of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. For this reason, the development of local community-based tourism is important to do so as to increase community participation and improve the economy. This study aims to explain the network of local community-based tourism development policies in Merauke Regency based on three institutional pillars (regulative, normative and cultural-cognitive). This study uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation studies. Data processing and analysis techniques were carried out with data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Determination of informants using purvosive sampling technique. The results of the study show that there is a regulatory synergy, namely the synergy of rules issued by the Merauke district government with the system of rules used in the life of indigenous peoples. Normative shows mentoring and community involvement around tourist sites for the development of skills and knowledge in tourism management, and cultural-cognitive shows the existence of shared knowledge and understanding related to developing economic aspects by creating production centers for the development of the potential of local communities in collaboration with the customs of indigenous peoples in producing their cultural product

    Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh salah satu upaya guru tenaga profesional bukan hanya untuk mengajar saja melainkan guru seharusnya berupaya mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, melatih dan mengevaluasi peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk penerapan metode demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) bagi siswa, serta mengetahui hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan dua siklus dan subjek penelitian ini guru kelas VII.3 thun ajaran 2021/2022. Dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ( PTK ) ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus, dari hasil tindakan yang dilakukan terbukti dapat meningkatkan ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal  yaitu pada siklus I sebesar 70%, dapat meningkat menjadi 85 % pada siklus II. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi  dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan ketuntasan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS dengan ketuntasan mencapai 85% pada  Siklus II

    The effect of Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB) biochar and Ground Magnesium Limestone (GML) application on aluminium availability and rice growth performance grown in acid sulphate soil / Muhammad Lukman Alwi

    Rice has a crucial role in food security but the production is limited grown in acid sulphate soil. Soil amendment using biological charcoal (biochar) from Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB) is one alternative as liming material in order to increase the soil pH. The utilization of acid sulphate soil for rice cultivation is one alternative option to increase the rice production. However, the main problem associated with this soil is due to its low pH and high content of exchangeable aluminium. The main objective this study was to investigate the effect of lime and biochar application on soil pH, aluminium availability and plant growth performance in acid sulphate soil. A pot experiment was conducted with the application different level of soil amendment: control (Non-amended soil), 4 tan/ha lime, combination of 2 tan/ha lime with 2.5 tan/ha biochar, 2 tan/ha lime with 5 tan/ha biochar and 2 tan/ha lime with 10 tan/ha biochar. From the finding, the application of lime can increase the soil pH from 3.72 to 4.08 and reduce the exchangeable aluminium concentration as compared to non-amended soil. In addition, the combination between lime and biochar also give good performance both plant heights and soil pH compare to (Non-amended soil). Therefore, it is recommended that the application of biochar together with lime also can be as good soil amendment and has potential in reducing aluminium availability on acid sulphate soil
