Predicción de Tendencias Poblacionales Académicas en Municipios Conurbados del Estado de México Utilizando Inteligencia Artificial

En la sociedad podemos encontrar muchísimos comportamientos en todas las cosas que miramos en nuestro alrededor, todo está en constante cambio o transformación, en constante traslado o movimiento, y todas esas actividades y dinámicas situaciones se pueden tratar de representar por medio de esquemas, esquemas que representen aquello que miramos en nuestra vida cotidiana, y resuman en una forma sencilla las cosas complejas de nuestro entorno. A todo esto, anterior se le denomina patrones de comportamiento resumidos o plasmados en modelos matemáticos. En esta Tesis se hace un estudio de la “Zona Metropolitana del Valle de México”. Actualmente, es un área que ha ido en continuo crecimiento y expandiéndose cada vez más a otros estados como ahora lo es Hidalgo. El enfoque principal del tema es ahora conocer el número de egresados de cada nivel educativo en los municipios conurbados del estado de México específicamente, de allí se tiene como objetivo estudiar que variables sociales, demográficas financieras, económicas y demás áreas, influyen en el número de egresados de cada nivel educativo, Pre-Primaria, Primaria, Secundaria, Preparatoria y Profesional o técnico, y poder obtener de ellas pronósticos para años subsecuentes a aquellos de los que tenemos información y así de alguna manera brindar herramientas que sean útiles en la toma actual de decisiones. La investigación pues se centra en el estudio estadístico de egresados y causas que afectan o influyen en el número de los mismos en los municipios conurbados del estado de México.CONACy

Las fiestas marineras en los siglos XIX y XX : entre la afirmación identitaria y la "desposesión"

Olvidadas por la literatura científica, el objeto del presente trabajo es el estudio de las fiestas marineras en el largo período de tiempo que se extiende entre los años finales de los siglos XVIII y XX. Unos años durante los que siguieron un proceso complejo, debido, en unos casos, a la imposición de las mismas por parte de las autoridades, y, en otros, a la “apropiación” de las tradicionales fiestas marineras por parte de grupos sociales ajenos a la gente de la mar, que con el paso del tiempo se vieron “desposeídos” de ellas. Con el fin de desvelar dicho proceso, en las páginas que siguen se analizará la tipología de las fiestas, sus formas, sus ritos y sus funciones, así como las permanencias y los momentos de cambios que afectaron a tales manifestaciones socioculturales.Forgotten by the scientific literature, the object of the present work is the study of the sailor parties in the long period of time that extends between the final years of the 18th and 20th centuries. Some years during which followed a complex process, had to, in some cases, to the imposition of the same by part of the authorities, and, in others, to the “appropriation” of the traditional sailor parties by part of extraneous social groups to the people of the sea, that with the step of the time saw “desposeídos” of them. With the end to shed light on said process, in the pages that follow will analyse the typology of the parties, his forms, his rites and his functions, as well as the permanences and the moments of changes that affected to such social and cultural demonstrations

Feature-driven improvement of renewable energy forecasting and trading

Pineda, Feature-driven Improvement of Renewable Energy Forecasting and Trading, IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, 2020.Inspired from recent insights into the common ground of machine learning, optimization and decision-making, this paper proposes an easy-to-implement, but effective procedure to enhance both the quality of renewable energy forecasts and the competitive edge of renewable energy producers in electricity markets with a dual-price settlement of imbalances. The quality and economic gains brought by the proposed procedure essentially stem from the utilization of valuable predictors (also known as features) in a data-driven newsvendor model that renders a computationally inexpensive linear program. We illustrate the proposed procedure and numerically assess its benefits on a realistic case study that considers the aggregate wind power production in the Danish DK1 bidding zone as the variable to be predicted and traded. Within this context, our procedure leverages, among others, spatial information in the form of wind power forecasts issued by transmission system operators (TSO) in surrounding bidding zones and publicly available in online platforms. Asilo político en la embajada de México en Brasil, 1964-1966 : El primer contingente de exiliados de la dictadura militar

Desde las primeras horas después de la consumación del golpe de estado que derrocó al presidente constitucional de Brasil João Goulart, el 1 de abril de 1964, amplios contingentes de perseguidos políticos acudieron a las diferentes embajadas acreditadas en ese país para solicitar asilo político. La embajada de México, como las de otros países principalmente latinoamericanos, abrió sus puertas y asiló a todos aquellos que consideró que corrían peligro en medio de aquél ambiente de cacería y persecución arbitraria que el propio embajador de México en Brasil, Alfonso García Robles, observó y reportó desde los primeros días de abril. Junto a la decisión de proteger a los perseguidos políticos, el gobierno mexicano decidió mantener, en los primeros meses, una posición indefinida y distante frente al “nuevo gobierno”. Coincidiendo con el nuevo conflicto bélico abierto con Francia -la llamada Guerra de la Independencia- la literatura se convirtió en instrumento de propaganda y combate, como muy acertadamente supo ver en su momento el gaditano Semanario Patriótico. Study of a descent system for atmospheric re-entry and landing of space vehicles

The Space RIDER (Space Reusable Integrated Demonstrator for Europe Return) is an unmanned orbital spacecraft vehicle that will provide the European Space Agency (ESA) with a reusable integrated space transportation system for routine access and return from low earth orbit. The project is mainly led by the Italian PRIDE (Programme for Reusable In-orbit Demonstrator in Europe) program in collaboration with companies such as Thales Alenia and ESA. The inaugural flight is scheduled for 2022. The objective in the present work is to develope a 6 DoF flight simulator to analyze the atmospheric descent and landing of the Space RIDER vehicle. The study will focus on the low subsonic descent stage. A maneuverable parafoil will be used for guiding autonomously the vehicle to the target touchdown point

A proof of slow-roll local decay of inflaton fields in cosmology and axion fields in cold dark matter models

We consider the long time behavior of solutions to scalar field models appearing in the theory of cosmological inflation (oscillons) and cold dark matter, in presence or absence of the cosmological constant. These models are not included in standard mathematical literature due to their unusual nonlinearities, which model different features to classical ones. Here we prove that these models fit in the theory of dispersive decay by computing new virials adapted to their setting. Several important examples, candidates to model both effects are studied in detail
