    Upaya Peningkatkan Pengetahuan Tentang Pola Asuh Gizi Balita di Desa Pulau Melako

    Pola makan yang salah menempatkan anak balita dalam posisi rentan terhadap masalah gizi. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pola asug gizi balita. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada Februari 2020, di Desa Pulau Melako, Kabupaten Bathin VIII, Sarolangun. Metode kegiatan yaitu pemberian penyuluhan dengan media poster dan leaflet. Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah ibu kader posyandu dan 10 ibu balita. Luaran dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan ibu-ibu balita dan kader posyandu tentang pola asuh gizi balita. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor pre-test adalah 4,3 poin, dan skor post-test adalah 8,0 poin. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi orangtua setelah diberikan penyuluhan

    This paper will treat one of the social challenges facing the Western Balkan countries in the process of European integration, the need for coordination of the old agepension systems. Along with the economic cooperation, the social security coordination is an important aspect for the European integration of Balkan countries.After 2000, the social policy has taken a special attention in EU agenda, reflected onthe EU assistance projects for Western Balkan, with a regional approach. It was related even with the progress done by the Balkan countries in the process of EU integration. Macedonia is become a candidate for EU membership, whereas Albania after signing the Stabilisation and Association Agreements with the EU, is applying forbeing a candidate country.     as a global problem, patient morbidity and mortality in hospital caused by Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAIs) can be prevented by implementation of Hand Hygiene (HH). This research aims to know the influence of Health Belief Model variables to HH compliance. there was a quantitative study by survey approach and cross-sectional design. The population consisted all of nurses in high risk HAIs ward (ICU and surgical ward, 30 respondents). HCW’s perceptions were measured through self-administered questioner. The compliance of HCWs was measured by observation form of HH. compliance rate of HH based on moment was 46,29 %. Compliance of ICU nurses where higer than surgery ward nurses. Only workplace variable that had significant influence HH compliance (p=0,000). Perception variables can not used as predictor to HH compliance. HH compliance should be increase. Workplace factor had significant influence to HH compliance.

    Language constitutes one of the many systems of knowledge that man has acquired during his existence. Unlike traditional conceptions that see language as a phenomenon related to community, we can say that the language has an individual way, which is not only related to its performative displays, but also to its integral competence of special speakers. If nearly two centuries ago, the situations of bilingualism were viewed with suspicion and as temporary existence, now they are seen as the densest forms of linguistic and ethnic contacts. At this point, to a large extent of individuals, the monolingual situation is slowly being replaced by the bi- or multilingualism, as a result of various causes. If we drew a comparison between the monolingual speakers and the bilingual ones, we would understand those bilingual speakers are not just individuals who recognize two languages, but they can also use them regularly. For this reason, we cannot expect their language behavior to be the same with that of monolingual speakers, who use only their native language. In today's society, the idea of a sustainable and clear monolingual situation is unreal. Despite the level of language knowledge, the contact with other languages is inevitable. In such a group, no language system is immune to barriers of words or phrases that come out in one language and take place naturally in the lexicon of another language, or some other languages.Keywords: language analysis, identity, diglossia, social identity, bilingualism, asymmetry

    Practice has shown that low-level proficiency students have problems expressing themselves using accurate, fluent and even simple sentences. This is reflected in their finaloral exams. Hesitation to speak English might be because students have underdeveloped speaking skills as they do not use the language in real-life situations. For this reason students need extensive help and exposure to the English language.Task-based language teaching is an approach seeking to provide learners with anatural context for language use. As learners work to complete a task, they have abundant opportunity to interact. Such interaction is thought to facilitate language acquisition aslearners have to work to understand each other and to express their own meaning (Larsen-Freeman 2000:114).The paper elaborates and analyzes the effectiveness of the task-based learning approach on the development of students speaking skills in academic settings

The Macedonian language is the official language in the Republic of Macedonia that is why every citizen learns that language and knows to speak even though his native language is another one. Bilingualism to the citizens of Gostivar has been developed since ancient times, because there have lived and still do many different nations of different cultures. The development of education significantly influenced in the advancement of bilingualism for citizens of Gostivar. One of the most important socio-cultural factors about learning the foreign languages is considered the family, her cultural and social status. The ratio between the level of the education of the parents and the children's achievements can be explained in different ways. Each educated bilingual parent or multilingual demonstrates an example of a speaker with expressive communication skills in two or more languages.     PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN MENERAPKAN PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELEBIHI FAKTA MELALUI BUDIDAYA JAMUR TIRAM

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan; (1) aktivitas belajar siswa, (2) hasil belajar (kemampuan kognitif) siswa pada materi gerak menggunakan pembelajaran IPA melebihi fakta melalui budi daya Jamur Tiram. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Tanjungraja, semester genap tahun 2010/2011. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang dilaksanakan pada bulan maret hingga bulan april 2011. Prosedur penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 (tiga) siklus belajar dan setiap siklus dilaksanakan dengan perubahan yang ingin dicapai. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur sebagai berikut : Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan tindakan, Evaluasi, dan Refleksi. Data yang diperoleh setelah diadakan penelitian ini adalah data berupa Data kualitatif yang terdiri dari : Data aktivitas siswa diperoleh melalui lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Aktivitas siswa meliputi; (1) Kemampuan siswa dalam bertanya dan mengemukakan pendapat, (2) Kemampuan siswa dalam melakukan eksperimen, dan (3) Partisipasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Dan Data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari pemberian tes pada setiap akhir siklus. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian ini apabila terjadi peningkatan rerata aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian Penerapan model pembelajaran IPA melebihi fakta melalui budi daya Jamur Tiram dapat meningkatkan (1) Rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa yakni siklus I 41,67, siklus II sebesar 60,13, siklus III sebesar 73,04. (2). Persentase hasil belajar (kemampuan kognitif) yakni siklus I sebesar 47,4%, siklus II sebesar 71,15 %, siklus III sebesar 97,36%
