Helicobacter pylori como factor asociado a pólipos colónicos adenomatosos en el hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray

El siguiente estudio de tipo observacional de casos y controles, presenta como objetivo demostrar que el Helicobacter pylori es factor asociado a pólipos colónicos adenomatosos en pacientes del Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray, para lo cual se revisarán 360 historias clínicas de pacientes del servicio de gastroenterología (136 casos y 136 controles), atendidos en el 2014-2018, que cuenten con endoscopía digestiva alta y baja, obteniéndose la información del resultado de las biopsias gástricas y colónicas. Los resultados serán obtenidos mediante el programa SPSS vs. 25, calculando el Odds Ratio, además la significancia se obtendrá con la prueba Chi-cuadrado de Pearson, aceptando que es significativo si p <0.05.The following study of observational, analytic, cases and controls study, has how objetive demonstrate that Helicobacter pylori is an associate factor for adenomatous colonic polyps in The Victor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital. For that, the autor will review 360 clinical histories of patients from gastroenterology service from this hospital. (136 cases and 136 controls), that were attended from 2014 to 2018, that have upper and down digestive endoscopy. Robust AR representations of ocean spectra

[EN] A general criterion to qualify ARMA representations of ocean spectra is presented. An objective criterion to qualify simulators becomes the key element to justify the selection or rejection of ARMA representations for practical applications. A technique to calculate robust AR representations appears to be the natural engineering solution to overpass the instability and poor results provided by classical methods. An addition of modicum white noise (0.0025 m0) to the theoretical JONSWAP-type spectra is proved to be sufficient to generate robust AR representations free of instabilities and showing an excellent qualification according to the general criterion justified for most ocean engineering applications.Medina, JR.; Sánchez Carratalá, CR. Análisis, diseño e implementación de un sistema de control de encendido, apagado e instalación de un aula departamental

La motivación más importante para realizar este trabajo derivó de la necesidad de eliminar muchas de las limitaciones que poseen las utilidades que se utilizan a diario en el Laboratorio del Departamento de Informática. Muchas de estas utilidades son simples scripts cuyo número aumenta a medida que se añaden nuevas funcionalidades y que hace cada vez más difícil su uso. La herramienta desarrollada en este proyecto unifica y mejora estas utilidades, permitiendo administrar equipos de distintas aulas al mismo tiempo: encenderlos, reiniciarlos en un sistema operativo concreto, apagarlos, o realizar instalaciones de forma remota. También permite llevar a cabo otras tareas que se realizan con frecuencia en el Laboratorio, como la copia de máquinas virtuales o la modificación de permisos de directorios.The most important motivation for this work was the need to eliminate many of the limitations of the tools that are used daily in the Laboratory of Computer Science and Engineering Department. Many of these utilities are just scripts whose number increases as new features are added and that makes their use more difficult. The tool developed in this project unifies and enhances these utilities, allowing you to manage computers in different classrooms at the same time: turn them on, restart them on a particular operating system, turn them off or perform installations remotely. Analysis of the Utilization of Air-Cooled Blast Furnace Slag as Industrial Waste Aggregates in Self-Compacting Concrete

In this work, the effects of replacing the aggregates of self-compacting concrete by air-cooled blast furnace slag have been analysed. Different mixes have been manufactured by substituting the fine and coarse natural aggregates by air-cooled blast furnace slag. The fracture energy and the tensile and compressive strength have been determined for each mix. The self-compacting properties of the mixes, or the absence of them, have been observed. The main goals of this research are the decrease of the price of aggregates, reduction of the industrial waste, and attenuation the rate of consumption of natural resources. The results show that the self-compactability of the concrete is gradually lost as the slag content is increased, thus, when the ratio of replacement is low, the concrete keeps the self-compacting properties. Nevertheless, the loss of self-compaction affects the mechanical properties by increasing its strength. From Perception to Navigation in Environments with Persons: An Indoor Evaluation of the State of the Art

Research in the field of social robotics is allowing service robots to operate in environments with people. In the aim of realizing the vision of humans and robots coexisting in the same environment, several solutions have been proposed to (1) perceive persons and objects in the immediate environment; (2) predict the movements of humans; as well as (3) plan the navigation in agreement with socially accepted rules. In this work, we discuss the different aspects related to social navigation in the context of our experience in an indoor environment. We describe state-of-the-art approaches and experiment with existing methods to analyze their performance in practice. From this study, we gather first-hand insights into the limitations of current solutions and identify possible research directions to address the open challenges. In particular, this paper focuses on topics related to perception at the hardware and application levels, including 2D and 3D sensors, geometric and mainly semantic mapping, the prediction of people trajectories (physics-, pattern- and planning-based), and social navigation (reactive and predictive) in indoor environments

La mejora de la Fuerza Explosiva y la Resistencia durante un macrociclo en un equipo de fútbol semiprofresional

El rendimiento de los jugadores de fútbol es multifactorial. Este trabajo se va a centrar en el aspecto fisiológico de la fuerza y de la resistencia, fundamentales en este deporte. El objetivo de este estudio es establecer cómo evoluciona la fuerza explosiva y la resistencia durante un macrociclo de cuatro meses mediante test inespecíficos de fuerza como Squat Jump (SJ), Counter Movement Jump (CMJ) y Counter Movement Jump Free (CMJFree) y resistencia (Test Yoyo de Recuperación Intermitente) en futbolistas semiprofesionales. Se ha utilizado el programa SPSS versión 22 de la Universidad de Zaragoza para el análisis estadístico descriptivo dado en media y desviación típica y para el inferencial la T de Student y Anova de un factor estableciendo la significatividad en p˂ 0,05.Los resultados muestran una mejora del equipo en todos los test y variables analizadas obteniendo diferencias significativas. Al comparar por posiciones se obtiene que los porteros alcanzan los mejores valores en la potencia de los tres tipos de salto y son los mejores en la variable de altura del CMJFree, mientras que los defensas son los mejores en la variable de altura en los saltos de SJ y CMJ y en el test de resistencia. Al comparar las tomas entre posiciones los porteros son los que mejores valores obtienen tanto en el CMJFree altura como potencia encontrando diferencias significativas a su favor con el resto de posiciones.<br /

La Seguridad como una asignatura indispensable para un Ingeniero del Software

La seguridad informática ha venido cobrando mayor importancia para las organizaciones dado el marcado crecimiento de las nuevas tecnologías de la información, servicios Web, comercio electrónico, etc. Es por ello que existe la necesidad de contar con nuevos profesionales en este entorno. Para ello, es necesario contar con asignaturas de Seguridad en las escuelas universitarias, que doten al futuro profesional de los conocimientos necesarios para afrontar con éxito las necesidades que el mundo empresarial actual demanda. Así, aprovechando el estado actual de implantación del sistema europeo de créditos, en este artículo se resume una propuesta de grado de informática, y se presenta la asignatura de Seguridad de Sistemas Software, ubicada en el perfil de Ingeniería del Software, definiendo el contenido de dicha asignatura de acuerdo a las directrices del sistema ECTS, y a las necesidades reales que cualquier ingeniero del software puede encontrarse en el mundo empresarial actual.Peer Reviewe

Dead-time optimization to increase secure distance range in prepare and measure quantum key distribution protocols

Afterpulsing is a factor limiting the distance over which discrete-variable quantum key distribution systems are secure, and a common feature in single-photon detectors. The relevance of this phenomenon stems from its stochastic, self-interacting nature and the fact that its rate rises with the number of avalanche events, which increases the quantum bit error rate. Here we introduce an effective analytic model, including dead-time and afterpulsing corrections, where afterpulsing correction depends on dead-time value. This model is useful to evaluate the performance of prepare and measure quantum key distribution protocols (standard and decoy versions) that use gated single photon detectors. The model provides an expression to numerically optimize the secret key rate over the full distance range for secure communication, enabling in this way the calculation of quantum bit error rate and secure key rate. In the conventional procedure, the dead-time value is fixed regardless of distance, limiting the distance range of the channel due to remaining afterpulsing effects, which are more relevant at higher operating frequencies. Here we demonstrate that optimizing the dead-time values increases the distance range of the channel to share secret keys.Comment: 13 pages, 9 figure

Uno de los fines del semillero hidrológico forestal, es el de la modelación hidrológica. Esta no solamente nos da un conocimiento sobre la precipitación y de los caudales de salida. Sino que nos da una espacialización de los diferentes factores de riesgo, en cuanto a remociones en masa e inundaciones.En los trabajos de investigación que desarrolla el semillero y en conjunto con el grupo de investigación AQUAFORMAT como lo es el de determinación y aplicación de hidrogramas unitarios sintéticos en la predicción de inundaciones en la cuenca alta del rio san Cristóbal Bogotá DC y de la caracterización de las coberturas vegetales de la cuenca alta del rio san Cristóbal   (las dos investigaciones financiadas por el CIDC y culminadas)
