    VULNERABILITY IN THE CHILD DEVELOPMENT: INFLUENCE OF PUBLIC POLICIES AND HEALTH PROGRAMS*

    Introduction: vulnerability in child development can defined as the chance or opportunity to the child to suffer losses or delays in their development due to the influence of individual, social, and programmatic factors, which constitute adverse situations. Objective: to characterize the programmatic dimension of vulnerability in child development, according to the nurse at the Family Health Strategy Program. Methods: a qualitative exploratory study, conducted with nurses from units with the Family Health Strategy, in a city of the southern region of Brazil. Data collected by semi-structured interviews and analyzed according to the dialect hermeneutic and analytic matrix of the vulnerability of children in adverse situations for their development. Results: participants were 39 nurses, one from each health unit, who described budgetary, institutional, administrative and care factors that influence the process of health care and relate to the promotion of child development. Even acknowledging improvements in the current scenario of healthcare, they classified such factors as insufficient. Thus, the categories Fragilities in political-programmatic scenario and Gaps in the programmatic-assistance implementation, explain the vulnerability of the child health care in programmatic dimension, which characterizes a potentially injurious situation to the development. Conclusion: The nurses understand that the programmatic dimension of health care shows up as a significant cause of vulnerability in the development of the child

    VALIDATION OF DIVERSE INFORMATION TO PREPARE AN INTERACTIVE BOOKLET FOR FAMILIES OF AUTISTIC CHILDREN

    Objective: to validate content and face of diverse information to prepare an interactive booklet for families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Method: a methodological research study conducted in Curitiba-PR, Brazil, with 86 experts between June and November 2020 and using the Delphi technique. An instrument with variables about relevance of the content, clarity and objectivity and scientific topicality was used for data collection. In data analysis, the Content Validity Index was set at ≥75%. Results: the content about the characteristics of autistic children, their diagnosis, behavior and rights was considered valid by the experts in the first round. The diverse information about the signs in autistic children and their future were validated in the second round, after the reformulations suggested by the experts. Conclusion: this educational resource has the potential to contribute in health education for the families of autistic children

    Social representations of nursing teens on breastfeeding

    Objetive: This study aims to identify the social representations of adolescent nursing mothers on breastfeeding. Method: An seploratory descriptive study founded on the theory of social representations, and carried out in the coverage area of three Family Healthcare Units in the Metropolitan Area of Curitiba, Parana State, Brazil. Nine adolescents were interviewed by means of a semi-structured interview, data analyzed through thematic category analysis. Results: The following categories were identified: Experience of the family breastfeeding network and Breastfeeding as an obligation. Data evidenced that adolescents underpin their breastfeeding representations on family experience and represent health professionals with an authoritarian attitude to promote breastfeeding. Conclusion: These results may support professional practice redesign from a prescriptive manner to critic, creative, dialogical care, based on principles of wholeness and equity, which entail health needs not only for the mother, but as well, for the child as social subjects

    ELABORAÇÃO DE UMA CARTILHA INFORMATIVA PARA FAMILIARES E CUIDADORES DE CRIANÇAS COM AUTISMO

    Objective: to describe the development of an informative booklet for family members and caregivers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Method: experience report, carried out between September 2019 and July 2022 in a Stricto Sensu postgraduate course in nursing in southern Brazil. Results: the construction of the booklet involved the theoretical stage, content validation and construction of the prototype/booklet. The material was called Children with autism: booklet for family members and caregivers, consisting of six chapters: characteristics of the disorder, child behavior, rights of children with autism, future of children with autism and sharing experiences and visions. The content was validated, the prototype underwent usability and navigation testing, the booklet was hosted on Articulate Storyline Software and is available to the target audience. Final considerations: the process of creating educational resources for family members can help other researchers interested in the area.Objetivo: describir el desarrollo de una cartilla informativa para familiares y cuidadores de niños con Trastorno del Espectro Autista. Método: relato de experiencia, realizado entre septiembre de 2019 y julio de 2022 en un posgrado Stricto Sensu en enfermería en el sur de Brasil. Resultados: la construcción de la cartilla implicó la etapa teórica, validación de contenido y construcción del prototipo/cartilla. El material se denominó Niños con autismo: cuadernillo para familiares y cuidadores, consta de seis capítulos: características del trastorno, comportamiento infantil, derechos de los niños con autismo, futuro de los niños con autismo y compartir experiencias y visiones. El contenido fue validado, el prototipo se sometió a pruebas de usabilidad y navegación, el folleto se alojó en Articulate Storyline Software y está disponible para el público objetivo. Consideraciones finales: el proceso de creación de recursos educativos para familiares puede ayudar a otros investigadores interesados ​​en el área.Objetivo: descrever a elaboração de uma cartilha informativa para familiares e cuidadores de crianças que vivem Transtorno do Espectro Autista. Método:pesquisa metodológica, realizada entre setembro de 2019 a julho de 2022 no sul do Brasil. Resultados: a elaboração envolveu a etapa teórica, validação de conteúdo e construção da cartilha denominada  “Crianças autistas**: cartilha para familiares e cuidadores”.Composta com seis capítulos: características do transtorno, comportamento da criança, direitos, futuro da criança com autismo e compartilhando experiências e visões. O conteúdo foi validado e para a construção da cartilha foram investigadas as preferências de dispositivos tecnológicos e layout de recursos informativos pelos familiares; após, o protótipo da cartilha passou por teste de usabilidade e navegação, hospedada no Articulate Storyline Software e está disponível para o público-alvo. Considerações finais:o processo de elaboração de recursos educativos para familiares pode auxiliar outros pesquisadores com interesse na área.     PUERICULTURA INTEGRANDO ENSINO E SERVIÇO: UMA CONSTRUÇÃO COLETIVA

    This paper presents the sub-project of the program of institutional joint in the health area: Nursing department and the municipal health division of Colombo, it has the go of contributing in the reduction of the children death rate of the city. Aerts (1997), says that the reduction on the children death rate is connected with improvements in health attendance, expansion of the basics health services network, programs turned to high risk social groups, incentive to breast feeding and vaccines campaigns. This expansion program gave birth to the puericulture program done at the Alto Maracanã Health Unit in the city of Colombo in 1998, being developed by the extension scholarship studentes of UFPR (Federal University of Paraná) and of the Municipal Health division. It´s pre set activities are: Nurse attending, analysis of the risk factors and spreading the project to all of the city’s health unites. These actions between the learning institution and public services attempt to provide the planning of health attending, showing the necessity of taking the child health issues as priorities improving the life quality of the child, your family and community.Este trabalho apresenta o sub-projeto do Programa de articulação interinstitucional na área da saúde: Departamento de Enfermagem e Secretaria Municipal de Saúde de Colombo, tem como finalidade contribuir na redução da mortalidade infantil do município. Aerts (1997), considera que “a redução da mortalidade infantil está associada a melhorias na assistência à saúde, expansão da rede de serviços básicos de saúde, realização de programas voltados para grupos populacionais de maior risco, incentivo à amamentação e campanhas de vacinação.” Este projeto de extensão deu início ao Programa de Puericultura na Unidade de Saúde Alto Maracanã no município de Colombo em 1998, sendo desenvolvido por bolsistas de extensão da UFPR e da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde. Como atividades previstas: consulta de Enfermagem a criança, análise dos fatores de risco e ampliação do projeto para todas as Unidades de Saúde do município. Essas ações entre Instituição de Ensino e serviço buscam subsidiar o planejamento do atendimento à saúde, evidenciando a necessidade de tomar as questões da saúde da criança como prioritárias melhorando a qualidade de vida da criança, sua família e comunidade
