    Nga champora is one of the plants than can be antibacterial agent to treat Motile Aeromonas Septicemia (MAS) disease. Nga champora contain more than a hundred active compounds, but most of what is done for research is about flavonoids, alkaloids, steroids, tannin, glicosides and atsiri, which have bioactivity effects both in vivo and in vitro. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of MAS disease treatment using nga champora. The experimental method was used in this research using with five treatments, thai is: A (500 ppm), B (600 ppm), C (700 ppm), and Kontrol treatment. The results showed that the higher has the higher resistance to A. hydrophillawith a value of 5.7 mm (500 ppm) to 8.3 mm (700 ppm), and a life speed of up to 60% (700 ppm).     SITI MASITOH: Pendidikan merupakan rentetan perubahan dari suatu keadaan berikutnya, yakni dari tidak tahu menjadi tahu. Kewibawaan merupakan hal yang harus dimiliki guru. Di MTs Bina Cendekia Astanajapura Cirebon, siswa masih kurang disiplin, hal ini terbukti masih ada siswa yang kurang memperhatikan guru yang sedang menerangkan, terdapat siswa yang belum mengerjakan tugas dan siswa yang masih terlambat datang sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur : 1) kewibawaan guru dalam pembelajaran mata pelajaran IPS. 2) sikap disiplin siwa kelas VII. 3) pengaruh antara kewibawaan guru terhadap sikap disiplin siswa. Disiplin adalah kesadaran diri yang muncul dalam batin untuk mentaati peraturan, nilai dan hukum yang berlaku dalam satu lingkungant ertentu. Kewibawaan guru adalah adanya kekuatan dalam perkataan dan perbuatan seorang guru yang dapat menumbuhkan rasa sadar dari siswa untuk mengikuti dan menuruti apa yang diperintahkan dan dicontohkan oleh guru. Guru yang berwibawa akan mempengaruhi sikap disiplin siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu koefisien korelasi Product Moment, uji signifikasi dengan uji t, koefisien determinasi, dan uji regresi. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Bina Cendekia Astanajapura Cirebon. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh atau korelasi yang lemah atau rendah antara kewibawaan guru dengan sikap disiplin siswa kelas VII MTs Bina Cendekia Astanajapura Cirebon. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil pengolahan data statistik diperoleh koefisien korelasi r = 0,314 (kategori lemah atau rendah). Pada uji signifikansi korelasi melalui uji t, diperoleh thitung sebesar 1,985 dan ttabel sebesar 1, 697 karena thitung≄ttabel maka Ho ditolak, artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel X dengan variabel Y adalah nyata pada taraf signifikan 95% (taraf kesalahan 5%). Pada uji koefisien determinasi diperoleh nilai 9,85%. Artinya kontribusi kewibawaan guru dalam menjelaskan keragaman sikap disiplin siswa sebesar 9,85% dan sisanya 90,15% dijelaskan faktor lain. Hasil uji regresi linier adalah Fhitung = 4,02 dan Ftabel = 4,11 dimana Fhitung ≀ Ftabel, maka diterima Ho dan tolak Ha artinya tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kewibawaan guru dengan sikap disiplin siswa kelas VII MTs Bina Cendekia Astanajapura Cirebon pada taraf kesalahan 5%.     Background : Hipothermia was still one of the death’s cause with the number of case 6,8%. Death caused by hypothermia is related to knowledge and attitude in neonatus cared. The objective knows the correlation between mother’s knowledge on hypothermia and mother’s attitude in preventing hypothermia on neonatus in working area Ngoresan Local Goverment Clinic Surakarta. Method: This research used the survey research method with the cross sectional approuch. The samples of research were taken by using the total sampling and consisted of 42 respondents. The research were collected through questionnaire. Statistically analyzed by using Spearman’s Rank. Result : 26 respondents (61,9%) have good knowledge on hypothermia and 27 repondents (64,3%) have positive attitude in preventing hypothermia on Neonatus. Spearman’s Rank analysis is ρ value=0,000 (ρ < 0,05), r = 0,806. Conclusion : There was a corellation between mother’s knowledge on hypothermia and mother’s attitude in preventhing hypothermia on neonatus. Keywords: Knowledge, Attitude, Hypothermi

The sampling technique used is purposive technique (purposive sampling). The population is UNJ students who shopped to the Sun Arion Mall in ≀ 3 months, female, age 17-25 years. Based on the initial survey that researchers do, didapatlah population of 89 students. Results of reliability for the variable X is 0.807 and for the variable Y is 0884. questionnaire using Likert scale models. Before the instrument is used, tested the construct validity of the two variables. The process is done by analyzing the validity of the data. 24 statements variable arrangement of items on display (window display) valid point as many as 18 items and 6 eggs dropped. While 46 statement unplanned purchase decision variable (impulse buying) a valid point as much as 36 grains and 10 grains dropped. Test requirements analysis that estimates the error normality test regression of Y on X with the test Liliefors produce the greatest Lhitung Ltabel = 0.0461 for N = 89 with a significance level of 0.05 is 0.093. Lhitung Ftabel it can be concluded that the regression model is significant, followed by regression linearity test produces Fhitung = 0.4446 and Ftabel = 1.67. so Fhitung <Ftabel it can be concluded that the model is a linear regression equation. Hypothesis test results with the formula of Pearson product moment correlation r xy = 0.768 yield, regression significance test is then performed by using test t = 11.118 and t table at a significance level of 0.05 with df = 87 at 1,665. Then there are positive and significant relationship between variables X with Y. variable calculation results conclude that there are positive and significant relationship between the arrangement of items on display (window display) with unplanned purchasing decisions (impulse buying) with a coefficient of determination obtained of 59.00 % variation unplanned purchasing decisions (Y) is determined by the arrangement of items on display (X) the rest is determined by other factors

Masalah yang dihadapi oleh kelas 4B dalam pembelajaran PAI materi membaca Al-Qur‟an adalah siswa merasa jenuh, kurang semangat, dan kurang aktif dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran, dikarenakan guru hanya menggunakan metode ceramah dalam PBM. Selain itu, masih banyak siswa yang belum memahami tentang hukum bacaan atau tajwid yang terkandung dalam ayat Al-Qur‟an. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tergerak untuk meneliti penyebab kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam membaca Al-Qur‟an surat Al-Kautsar, An-Nashr dan Al-Ashr dengan baik dan benar melalui metode drill. Tujuan penelitian terdiri dari dua bagian, yakni: pertama untuk meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI materi membaca Al-Qur‟an surat Al-Kautsar, An-Nashr dan Al-Ashr melalui metode drill di kelas 4B SDN I Mertapada Kulon Kec. Astanajapura Kab. Cirebon. Kedua untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI materi membaca Al-Qur‟an surat Al-Kautsar, An-Nashr dan Al-Ashr dengan menggunakan metode drill di kelas 4B SDN I Mertapada Kulon Kec. Astanajapura Kab. Cirebon. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas 4B SDN I Mertapada Kulon yang berjumlah 43 siswa dengan masa penelitian 2 bulan terhitung mulai tanggal 11 April – 11 Juni 2012 dengan alokasi waktu 105 menit (3 jam pelajaran) setiap pertemuan. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan berdasarkan temuan melalui 3 kegiatan, yakni siklus I, siklus II dan siklus III. Setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan, observasi/pengamatan, dan wawancara baik dengan guru mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam maupun dengan siswa kelas 4B. Selain itu, juga diadakan tes lisan untuk mengukur kemampuan membaca Al-Qur‟an siswa yang baik dan benar sesuai dengan hukum bacaan yang terdapat di dalamnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari hasil tes lisan yang dilakukan setelah menggunakan metode drill dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat peningkatan, yaitu pada siklus I rata-rata tes lisan sebesar 43.1%, di siklus II diperoleh rata-rata tes lisan sebesar 66%, dan pada siklus III diperoleh nilai tes lisan sebesar 85.6%. Adapun penguasaan hasil belajar siswa yang telah memenuhi KKM, pada siklus I sebesar 46.5% (20 siswa yang lulus), pada siklus II sebesar 69.4% (30 siswa yang lulus), dan pada siklus III sebesar 93% (40 siswa yang lulus). Kemampuan membaca Al-Qur‟an sesuai dengan tajwidnya mencapai nilai 1,8 dengan kategori kurang. Pada siklus II tedapat peningkatan 0,3% menjadi 2,1 dengan kategori cukup. Dan pada siklus III terdapat peningkatan sebesar 1,4% menjadi 3,5 dengan kategori baik. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Membaca, Metode Drill, Aktivitas sisw

    Dalam mempelajari mata kuliah otomasi, masih banyak mahasiswa yang kesulitan terutama pada materi simbol dan mekanisme katup pneumatik. Penyebabnya diakibatkan oleh media/alat bantu pembelajaran yang tersedia, tidak cukup representatif untuk dapat menjelaskan konsep mekanisme katup pneumatik secara realistis, sehingga kurang menimbulkan pengalaman belajar pada mahasiswa yang mempelajarinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran peningkatan hasil belajar otomasi dan respon mahasiswa setelah mempelajari materi simbol dan mekanisme katup pneumatik, menggunakan media animasi katup pneumatik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pre-eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pre-test and post-test group design. Peningkatan hasil belajar dinyatakan dalam N-Gain, berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test, serta respon mahasiswa diperoleh melalui angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, penerapan media pembelajaran animasi, baik dengan menggunakan model individual learning maupun group learning; dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar otomasi pada materi simbol dan mekanisme katup pneumatik, dimana rata-rata N-Gain pada model individual learning berkategori sedang, sedangkan rata-rata N-Gain pada model group learning berkategori tinggi. Penerapan media pembelajaran animasi katup pneumatik, selain cukup efektif dan membawa hasil positif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, juga menyebabkan respon yang positif pada mahasiswa karena dapat membuat mahasiswa lebih termotivasi dalam belajar. It was caused by the media/ learning tools not enough representative to be able to explaining the concept of a realistic mechanism of pneumatic valves, thus caused less learning experience in which students learn. This research aims to know automation couse learning outcomes (N-Gain) and student response after study symbols and mechanisms of pneumatic valves subject using animation media. The method used in this research is pre-experimental research method. The research design used is pre-test and post-test group design. Learning outcome-improvement expressed in N-Gain based on pre-test and post-test, as soon as student responses obtained from questionnaire. Application of animation instructional media either by using individual learning model and group learning model, can improve learning outcomes of the automation course in symbols and mechanisms of pneumatic valves subject, where N-Gain with individual learning model have category "medium" and N-Gain with group learning model categorized "high". In addition, the implementation of the animation is quite effective instructional media and bring positive results in the learning activities. Application of animation instructional media besides quite effective and bring positive results in improving learning outcomes, also led to a positive response to the students because it can make students more motivated to learn.     THE USE OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODELS ON THE MATERIAL OF LINEAR EQUATIONS OF TWO VARIABLES TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMESThis study aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in determining the value of the variable value of a linear equation of two variables in a real context, as well as the activeness of students in the learning process using the ProblemBased Learning model. The research was conducted at State Junior High School 5 Bogor City involving 35 students in grade 8-C. The research method used is descriptive analytic through Classroom Action Research with data collection techniques using multiple choice tests and observation of student activity. The results of the study using the problem-based learning model can increase the average student learning outcomes from 64.71 to 72.71 in the first cycle and 81.86 in the second cycle. The percentage of students' complete learning outcomes also increased from 34.29% to 62.86% and increased again to 100%. Students are also involved in the learning process by listening to teacher explanations, being active in groups, actively asking questions, and doing teacher assignments. Learning with problem-based learning models provides opportunities for students to find solutions to the problems given so as to improve learning outcomes and student activity

    The Civil War that occurred in Liberia has been going on for a long time, where there are two rebel groups, they are: Liberians United for Reconciliation and Democracy (LURD) and Movement for Democracy in Liberia (MODEL). Both of these rebel groups have caused gender inequality in Liberia continuously, especially women who have been victims of this war. However, with the efforts and participation of women from Liberian society, the war was successfully reconciled without creating violence. This research is aimed at realizing that women are not only victims of gender inequality, but can also be 'agents of change' in creating peace and better change for the future of a country. This research will use qualitative research methods, that emphasize the observation and understanding of a social phenomenon, where data is collected through secondary data and literature review. This research will analyze the case using three concepts: Feminism, Gender Equality, and Peace. The research concluded that there have been several efforts that have been made by women to resolve conflicts in Liberia by creating and building peace sustainably so that peace can be stable for a long time. The efforts that have been made by Liberian women are by creating several organizations and affiliations, they are: Woman in the Peacebuilding Network (WIPNET), Mano River Women's Peace Network (MARWOPNET), Association of Female Lawyers of Liberia (AFELL). This long-term peace can improve gender equality in several sectors of Liberian society, such as the economy and political sectors that are getting better and more effective from year to year
