Retrato biográfico de los autores cinematográficos franquistas, a través de la revista "Primer plano" (1940-1951)

Actas del Segundo Congreso Internacional de Historia y Cine organizado por el Instituto de Cultura y Tecnología Miguel de Unamuno y celebrado del 9 al 11 de septiembre de 2010 en la Universidad Carlos III de MadridEl artículo expone el retrato del cine español creado por la revista de cine falangista Primer Plano, que estableció una biografía idealizada sobre las posibilidades de realizar un cine español al servicio de los ideales del fascismo español, que finalmente se truncó por la imposibilidad de ser aplicada, debido en buena medida al propio irracionalismo de la propia ideología de Falange; sin embargo la revista fue capaz de crear unas serie de películas que mejor encajaban con dicha retrato idealizado, hecho posible gracias a la existencia de directores de cine relacionados de diversas maneras con la ideología falangista, destacando la figura de José Antonio Nieves Conde.Abstract: The article presents the portrait of Spanish cinema created by the film magazine Primer Plano, a portrait that became an idealized biography on the opportunities for Spanish cinema to serve the ideals of Spanish fascism, a biography thwarted by the impossibility to be implemented, largely due to the irrationality of one's own ideology of the Falange, but he was able to create a series of films that best fit with this idealized portrait, made possible by the existence of filmmakers in various ways related with the ideology falangist, noting the figure of José Antonio Nieves CondePublicad

La imagen cinematográfica al servicio de la ideología del triunfo de la voluntad a las brigadas del espacio.

Actas del Segundo Congreso Internacional sobre Imagen, Cultura y Tecnología celebrado del 20 al 22 de octubre de 2010 en la Universidad Carlos III de MadridEl presente artículo analiza las relaciones entre la imagen cinematográfica como recurso en la construcción de un discurso político basado en el concepto del enemigo, para ello se partirá de sus inicios en el cine nacional-socialista y en concreto en los documentales de Leni Riefenstahl, para a continuación estudiar el traspaso de la imagen del enemigo en el cine comercial estadounidense y en concreto en el cine de Ciencia-ficción; los ejemplos de las películas son básicamente dos La invasión de los ladrones de cuerpos y Las brigadas del espacio, se estudiará las relaciones entre imagen e ideología por medio del concepto de enemigo acuñado por el politólogo ligado al nazismo Carl Schmitt, para establecer tanto las posibles coherencias entre ideología e imagen, como sobre todo la existencia de ambigüedades y otras posibles lecturas ideológicas del filme.Publicad

Hermes, el dios que envejece. Un ejemplo: La Ilíada

El autor, a través del caso concreto de las traducciones de la Ilíada al castellano, muestra cómo las traducciones 'envejecen' y necesitan ser reemplazadas, periódicamente, por otras nuevas. Pero también advierte que, paradójicamente, las nuevas traducciones persiguen cierto aire de antigüedad. Así, frente al involuntario 'envejecimiento' de aquéllas, encontramos el voluntario de éstas. Aquí es donde el autor trata de desarrollar el concepto de 'envejecimiento' e intenta delimitar los ámbitos de ambos tipos de 'envejecimiento'. El título, mediante una metáfora, apunta a dicha paradoja. Secundariamente, queda actualizado el elenco de las traducciones de la Ilíada al castellanoThe author, by judging the concrete case of the translators of the Iliad into Spanish, shows how translations become old and have to be replaced by modern ones. But the also realizes that, paradoxically, these ones pursue a certain appearance of antiquity. The sensitivity of estimated DSGE models to alternative data vintages

Master in Economics: Empirical Applications and Policies. Academic Year: 2019-2020This paper considers the estimation of a structural DSGE model with three alternative macroeconomic data vintages corresponding to the first-release (real-time data), the third-release data, and the highly revised data to assess the sensitivity of the estimation arising from the data revision process. The empirical evidence based on a structural econometric approach suggests that some structural and shock process parameters are only identified whenever highly revised data become available. More generally, several parameters are highly sensitive to data vintage in the estimation procedure. Data revisions also affect the estimated properties of the economic agents’ expectations that determine their decisions. Its empirical validation is assessed through the corresponding observable counterparts reported in the Survey of Professional Forecasters
