Pesquisa participante na Educação Física Escolar: o estado da arte

This study aimed to map and analyze what has been discussed in theses and dissertations that produce knowledge related to School Physical Education, drawing on the assumptions of participating research. A search was carried out in the Capes’ theses and dissertations catalog. At the end of the process, 24 studies related to the topic were selected. The empirical material was submitted to thematic analysis. The results showed that these investigations were produced from two themes, the first comprising participant researches inspired by didactic-pedagogical interventions and the second by participating researches that are inspired by collective actions to transform the reality of political-pedagogical practice, with the goal of achieving social justice. We conclude that these researches have been very powerful in showing the work of Physical Education teachers who teach in Basic Education.El objetivo de este estudio fue mapear y analizar lo que se está discutiendo en las tesis y disertaciones que producen saberes relacionados con la Educación Física Escolar, a partir de los supuestos de la investigación participante. Se realizó una búsqueda en el catálogo de tesis y disertaciones de la CAPES. Al final del proceso, fueron seleccionadas 24 investigaciones relacionadas con el tema. El material empírico fue sometido a un análisis temático. Los resultados mostraron que esas investigaciones se produjeron a partir de dos temas, donde el primero engloba investigaciones participantes inspiradas en intervenciones didáctico-pedagógicas y el segundo se centra en investigaciones participantes inspiradas en acciones colectivas para transformar la realidad de la práctica político-pedagógica buscando alcanzar la justicia social. Collagen and microvascularization in placentas from young and older mares

Research Areas: Veterinary SciencesIn older mares, increasing collagen fibers (fibrosis) in the endometrium and oviduct predisposes to sub-fertility and infertility. In this study, (i) gene transcription of collagen (qPCR: COL1A1, COL1A2, COL3A1, COL5A1); (ii) total collagen protein (hydroxyproline); (iii) collagen distribution (Picrosirius red staining; polarized light microscopy); and (iv) microvascular density (Periodic acid-Schiff staining), were evaluated in mares’ placenta, and related to mares age, and placenta and neonate weights. Samples were collected from the gravid horn, non-gravid horn, and body of the placenta from younger (n = 7), and older mares (n = 9) of different breeds. Transcripts of COL1A1, COL3A1 and COL5A1, total collagen protein, chorionic plate connective tissue thickness, and microvascularization increased in the gravid horn of older mares’ placentas, compared to the youngest (P < 0.05). Although in other species placenta fibrosis may indicate placental insufficiency and reduced neonate weight, this was not observed here. It appears that older fertile mares, with more parities, may develop a heavier, more vascularized functional placenta with more collagen, throughout a longer gestation, which enables the delivery of heavier foals. Thus, these features might represent morphological and physiological adaptations of older fertile mares’ placentas to provide the appropriate nutrition to the equine fetus.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

A mediação entre os conteúdos culturais e a Educação Artística formal tem emergido como uma distinta área de inovação e de intervenção, como o mostram os 18 artigos selecionados nesta nona edição da revista Matéria-Prima.Entre a identidade, fundada nos focos de conhecimento local, e uma inserção integrada nos problemas e conteúdos globais joga-se a problematização da Educação Artística. As propostas articulam quer discursos curatoriais (museu, bienal, exposição), como ações de mediação visando uma expansão das atividades, a que se juntam as reflexões sobre a realidade da formação de professores, nas suas diversas modalidades, em diversas realidades sociais.Propiciam-se oportunidades de ações de intervenção, concertadas ou não, entre os agentes artísticos e os educadores. ATLANTIC EPIPHYTES: a data set of vascular and non-vascular epiphyte plants and lichens from the Atlantic Forest

Epiphytes are hyper-diverse and one of the frequently undervalued life forms in plant surveys and biodiversity inventories. Epiphytes of the Atlantic Forest, one of the most endangered ecosystems in the world, have high endemism and radiated recently in the Pliocene. We aimed to (1) compile an extensive Atlantic Forest data set on vascular, non-vascular plants (including hemiepiphytes), and lichen epiphyte species occurrence and abundance; (2) describe the epiphyte distribution in the Atlantic Forest, in order to indicate future sampling efforts. Our work presents the first epiphyte data set with information on abundance and occurrence of epiphyte phorophyte species. All data compiled here come from three main sources provided by the authors: published sources (comprising peer-reviewed articles, books, and theses), unpublished data, and herbarium data. We compiled a data set composed of 2,095 species, from 89,270 holo/hemiepiphyte records, in the Atlantic Forest of Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, recorded from 1824 to early 2018. Most of the records were from qualitative data (occurrence only, 88%), well distributed throughout the Atlantic Forest. For quantitative records, the most common sampling method was individual trees (71%), followed by plot sampling (19%), and transect sampling (10%). Angiosperms (81%) were the most frequently registered group, and Bromeliaceae and Orchidaceae were the families with the greatest number of records (27,272 and 21,945, respectively). Ferns and Lycophytes presented fewer records than Angiosperms, and Polypodiaceae were the most recorded family, and more concentrated in the Southern and Southeastern regions. Data on non-vascular plants and lichens were scarce, with a few disjunct records concentrated in the Northeastern region of the Atlantic Forest. For all non-vascular plant records, Lejeuneaceae, a family of liverworts, was the most recorded family. We hope that our effort to organize scattered epiphyte data help advance the knowledge of epiphyte ecology, as well as our understanding of macroecological and biogeographical patterns in the Atlantic Forest. Accoustical characterisation of accented syllable in portuguese; a contribution to the naturalness of speech synthesis

Text-to-Speech systems require control of the prosodic parameters of the produced speech waveform in order to achieve a higher naturalness and degree of perception. Amongst the several dimensions into which prosody can be unfolded, the accented syllable realisation brings the basic problem of producing a set of comprehensive rules for accurate control of the acoustic realisation of the syllable parameters, which remains to be solved. In particular, for the Portuguese language, in Europe, a set of comprehensive quantitative characterisation data and rules is absolutely lacking. The present paper is intended, as a quantitative contribution, as far as we know the first, to the solution of this problem.
