    Herramientas lúdicas que mejoran la comprensión lectora en textos del área de lengua castellana

    En este trabajo se analiza el uso de pictogramas como recurso para mejorar la comprensión lectora de textos del área de Lengua Castellana y Literatura. En primer lugar se parte del concepto de escuela inclusiva que debe atender a toda la diversidad de alumnado. Se describe el Trastorno Específico del Lenguaje como parte de esa diversidad y los problemas de comprensión tanto oral como escrita que presenta este trastorno. Después, se presentan los fundamentos teóricos que aconsejan el uso de imágenes como apoyo a la lectura para los alumnos que presentan este trastorno. Para finalizar, se concreta en una propuesta didáctica para un alumno que presenta Trastorno Específico del Lenguaje, escolarizado en primero de primaria.Grado en Educación Primari

    A new adenovector system for implementing thymulin gene therapy for inflammatory disorders

    Thymulin is a thymic peptide possessing anti-inflammatory effects. In order to manipulate thymulin expression in gene therapy studies, we built a bidirectional regulatable two-vector Tet-Off system and the corresponding control system. The experimental two-vector system, ETV, consists of a recombinant adenovector (RAd) harboring an expression cassette centered on a Tet-Off bidirectional promoter flanked by a synthetic gene for thymulin and the gene for humanized Green Fluorescent Protein (hGFP). The second adenovector of this system, RAd-tTA, constitutively expresses the regulatory protein tTA. When cells are co-transduced by the two adenovector components, tTA activates the bidirectional promoter and both transgenes are expressed. In the presence of the antibiotic doxycycline (DOX) transgene expression is deactivated. The control two-vector system, termed CTV, is similar to ETV but only expresses hGFP. In CHO-K1, BHK, and C2C12 cells, ETV and CTV induced a dose-dependent hGFP expression. In CHO-K1 cells, transgene expression was almost completely inhibited by DOX (1 mg/ml). After intracerebroventricular injection of ETV in rats, thymulin levels increased significantly in the cerebrospinal fluid and there was high hGFP expression in the ependymal cell layer. When injected intramuscularly the ETV system induced a progressive increase in serum thymulin levels, which were inhibited when DOX was added to the drinking water. We conclude that our regulatable two-adenovector system is an effective molecular tool for implementing short and long-term anti-inflammatory thymulin gene therapy in animal models of acute or chronic inflammation.Facultad de Ciencias Médica

    En las últimas décadas, el movimiento social ecologista ha ido ganando peso en la sociedad, llegando a establecerse como un valor determinante a la hora de elegir nuestros objetos de consumo. Partiendo de este marco, se ha ido desarrollando un nuevo tipo de vehículos, los eléctricos, que cubran ese segmento. El Smart Fortwo Electric Drive, además de querer establecerse dentro del mercado, quiere cambiar la relación funcional que el público establece con la marca por tamaño, creando un estilo de vida alrededor de Smart que la distinga de su competencia. Para este proyecto, pretendemos realizar una investigación de cerca y, un análisis de las debilidades y fortalezas de la marca, para poder así desarrollar la planificación estratégica.     Masculine, feminine and neutral sports: Extracurricular sport modalities in practice

    The present work constitutes a novel approach to extracurricular sport modalities. The aim was to analyze the participation model and to determine the relevance of sex in this context. Data from 616 students, aged 15 to 17, were collected. The questionnaire on sport lifestyle from a gender perspective (Alvariñas-Villaverde et al., 2009) was used for assessment. The results showed that sport choice corresponds to sports traditionally associated with men or women. Nevertheless, these coexist with other neutral sports. Girls’ practice was more diverse, while boys’ profile was more resistant to changing classic patterns. Specific strategies are needed to make boys become more interested in typically female activities
