Educación Cívico-Tributaria: construyendo paz. Una referencia para Colombia

Civic Tax Education plays a key and fundamental role in society so that it feels the need to belong to a group. It must be included in the curricular systems and projects of any country that considers Education as one of its essential pillars in the development of all facets of the individual and, therefore, of its people, and must be considered as a democratic value. The practice of initiatives aimed at tax training at all educational levels fosters the acquisition of moral values ??worthy of a peaceful society whose discipline and organization would contribute to the eradication of structural violence carried out by practically all governments by not applying, in a transparent and fair way, the necessary policies to put the well-being of societies and people above all else. The appreciation of the public as something that also belongs to oneself implies the need to acquire civic values ??that will later have repercussions on others perceptions and behaviors. It is an exercise of self-reciprocity, of feeling the need to contribute in order to receive. The implementation of Civic Tax Education in psychopedagogical projects is necessary to develop the values of solidarity and social justice, for the recognition of public goods and services as elements belonging to every society. The methodological procedure used in this article has been autoethnography which is based on observation and personal experience.La Educación Cívico-Tributaria comporta un papel clave y fundamental en la sociedad para que ésta sienta la necesidad de pertenencia a un grupo. Debe ser incluida en los sistemas y proyectos curriculares de cualquier país que contemple la Educación como uno de sus pilares esenciales en el desarrollo de todas las facetas del individuo y, por ende, de su pueblo, debiendo ser considerada como un valor democrático. La práctica de iniciativas dirigidas a una formación de carácter tributario en todos los niveles educativos propicia la adquisición de valores morales dignos de una sociedad pacífica cuya disciplina y organización contribuirían a la erradicación de la violencia estructural que se desempeña por prácticamente todos los gobiernos al no aplicar, de forma transparente y justa, las políticas necesarias para anteponer el bienestar de las sociedades y de las personas por encima de todo. La apreciación de lo público como algo perteneciente implica una reflexión sobre la necesidad de adquirir valores cívicos que luego repercutirán a través de conductas llevadas a cabo también para los demás. Se trata de un ejercicio de auto reciprocidad, de sentir la necesidad de contribuir para recibir. Es necesaria la implantación de la Educación Cívico Tributaria en los proyectos psicopedagógicos para desarrollar los valores de solidaridad y justicia social, para el reconocimiento de los bienes y servicios públicos como elementos pertenecientes a toda sociedad. Thermorresponsive magnetic nanoparticles as target drug delivery for cancer treatment

In this research, temperature sensitive microgels with magnetic core for controlled release of 5-fluoruracil was synthesized. Magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4) were prepared by coprecipitation method and the surface was functionalized by acrylic acid. Polymer poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) were grown by free radical polymerization in presence of cross-liker and initiator. The size of the polymer was manipulated by changing the mole percent of the crosslinker and evaluated for their morphology (TEM), particle size, zeta potential, loading efficiency, drug content and drug release. Furthermore, microgels were tagged with FITC, a fluorochrome which could be applied for cell imaging. Cytotoxicity studies revealed that the microgels were not toxic. These complex nanoparticles (Fe3O4/pNIPAM/FITC/5-Fu) appear to be a great promise to be used in controlled drug delivery and tumor targeting.Universidad de Málaga. Synthesis of New Analogues of the Bengamides to encapsulate in magnetic nanoparticles

The development and identification of new antitumoral has become a research area of great interest and maximum priority due to secondary effects of current antitumoral and the appearance of tumours resistant to these agents. Marine sponges corresponding to the Jaspidae family have proved to be a prolific source of bioactive natural products. Among these, the Bengamides have showed an important biological profile, including antitumor, antibiotic and anthelmintic properties. Due to the interest of theses natural products, we describe a study directed towards the total synthesis of this class of compounds. Then we encapsulate Bengamides in temperature sensitive microgels with a magnetic core. El Proyecto General de Investigación “Muerte y Ritual Funerario en Baelo Claudia” desarrollado por la Universidad de Alicante en la necrópolis oriental de Baelo Claudia, ha detectado una más que interesante ocupación medieval, encuadrable entre los siglos XIII- XIV y caracterizada por la presencia de materiales cerámicos de tradición meriní junto con el hallazgo de una moneda de Sancho IV. Esta ocupación, asociada a un posible expolio de diversos monumentos funerarios, podría tener relación con uno de los episodios históricos más relevantes de la región como fue la conquista de la plaza de Tarifa en 1292 y la posibilidad de la existencia de un campamento militar castellano en la ensenada de Bolonia aprovechando que aún se alzaban importantes restos arquitectónicos de la antigua ciudad hispanorromana.The General Research Project “Death and Funeral Ritual in Baelo Claudia” developed by the University of Alicante in the eastern necropolis of Baelo Claudia, has detected a very interesting medieval occupation level, dating from the XIIIth and XIVth centuries and characterized by the presence of meriní pottery and the discovery of a coin of Sancho IV. Resumen basado en el de la publicaciónSe presenta un proyecto educativo denominado 'Cuaderno Multidisciplinar: Itinerario Barranco del Pasillo' en el que se desarrolla una actividad en el entorno natural. El aprovechamiento del entorno natural, del que disponen los centros educativos de zonas rurales, para la práctica docente, se convierte en una herramienta pedagógica de enorme interés debido a la gran cantidad de contenidos que se pueden trabajar en él. Las Actividades Físicas en el Medio Natural (AFMN) serán el medio para acercarse al entorno, desplazarse e interaccionar con él, permitiendo un trabajo interdisciplinar que conexiona multitud de áreas del conocimiento. Temperature dependence of the magnetization processes in Co/Al oxide/Permalloy trilayers

The magnetization process of Co/Al oxide/Py trilayers and its evolution with the temperature have been analyzed. The particular behavior of the Co layers, including the shift of the hysteresis loops and a coercivity increase with the decrease of temperature, is related with the apparition of a CoO layer at the Co/Al-oxide interface

An adaptive fuzzy approach for modelling visual texture properties

The analysis of the perceptual properties of texture plays a fundamental role in tasks like semantic description of images, content-based image retrieval using linguistic queries, or expert systems design based on low level visual features. The presence of these properties in images is very difficult to characterize due to their imprecision, and, moreover, because their perception may change depending on the user or the image context. In this paper, texture properties are modeled by means of an adaptive fuzzy approach that takes into account the subjectivity of the human perception. For this purpose, a methodology in two phases has been proposed. First, non-adaptive fuzzy models, that represent the average human perception about the presence of the texture properties, are obtained. For this modeling, we propose to learn a relationship between representative measures of the properties and the assessments given by human subjects. In a second phase, the obtained fuzzy sets are adapted in order to model the particular perception of the properties that a user may have, as well as the changes in perception influenced by the image context. For this purpose, the membership functions are automatically transformed on the basic of the information given by the user or extracted from the image context, respectively

Impact of public preventive programmes on oral quality of life of 11 to 12-yr-old school students

Objetivos: El objetivo es analizar el impacto de programas preventivos sobre la calidad de vida oral en escolares de 11- 12 años. Diseño del estudio: En el curso académico 1996/97 se inició un estudio quasiexperimental en la provincia de Granada con cuatro grupos de escolares de 6-7 años de edad: Sellador + Flúor (selladores en primeros molares permanentes aplicados en el centro de salud, durante 3 años de programa activo, y barniz de flúor aplicado cuatrimestralmente durante 3 años, n=65), Sellador (sólo selladores, n=80), Flúor (sólo barniz de flúor, n=107) y grupo Control (n=59). Todos los escolares fueron explorados cada 6 meses en los colegios durante los 3 años de programa activo, entregándoseles un informe de salud oral tras cada exploración. Tras un periodo de discontinuidad de 2.5 años, en el curso escolar 2002/03 (a los 5.5 años), los escolares fueron explorados, y se les pasó un cuestionario de calidad de vida oral, cuya puntuación va de -6 (mínima) a +6 (máxima). Resultados: Los valores de calidad de vida oral (± desviación estándar) fueron: 3.31±0.30 (Sellador + Flúor), 3.11±0.27 (Sellador), 3.18±0.23 (Flúor) y 2.95±0.32 (Control), sin diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre ellos. Conclusiones: Los programas de Sellador de fisuras y Barniz de flúor no muestran influencia significativa sobre la calidad de vida oral a 5.5 años de seguimiento (3 años de programa activo y 2.5 años de discontinuidad)

Comparative Exoproteome Analysis of Streptococcus suis Human Isolates

The swine pathogen Streptococcus suis is a Gram-positive bacterium which causes infections in pigs, with an impact in animal health and in the livestock industry, and it is also an important zoonotic agent. During the infection process, surface and secreted proteins are essential in the interaction between microorganisms and their hosts. Here, we report a comparative proteomic analysis of the proteins released to the extracellular milieu in six human clinical isolates belonging to the highly prevalent and virulent serotype 2. The total secreted content was precipitated and analyzed by GeLC-MS/MS. In the six strains, 144 proteins assigned to each of the categories of extracellular or surface proteins were identified, as well as 680 predicted cytoplasmic proteins, many of which are putative moonlighting proteins. Of the nine predicted signal peptide-I secreted proteins, seven had relevant antigenic potential when they were analyzed through bioinformatic analysis. This is the first work comparing the exoproteome fraction of several human isolates of this important pathogen
