Technology and Physico-chemical Properties of Gelatin from Atlantic Cod Skin

In this work, the technology of fish gelatin from the skin of Atlantic cod from the Barents Sea was developed. The influence of enzyme type, extraction time, and pH of extraction on properties of fish gelatin was studied. The usage of proteolytic enzymes increases the yield of gelatin in comparison with acidic treatment, but the molecular weight of gelatin and viscosity of its solution decrease. The results observed related to the cleavage of peptide bonds of collagen during the enzymolysis process. The increase the time of extraction leads to an increase in molecular weight and quality of gelatin obtained. It was shown that gelatin obtained can be successfully used in the production of functional food products based on fish raw materials. The results obtained are of great importance for the fish-processing industry. They allow transforming existing technologies into non-waste processes and thereby enhance the effectiveness of enterprises and create better environmental conditions

The problems of preserving the language and culture of small ethnic groups are relevant in world society. The Yukaghirs are one of the disappearing ethnic groups due to their small number and long-term adaptation in a multi-ethnic environment that does not contribute to the development and preservation of linguistic and cultural traditions. The lack of a language environment, scientifically grounded educational programs and teaching materials, violation of psychological foundations that contribute to the preservation of an ethnic group are the main bases of the relevance of the study. The article presents the results of a long-term educational experiment on the preservation of the Yukaghir language and culture in the Nelemnoye secondary school of the Verkhnekolymsky district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the successful management of the educational process in the new conditions, its progressive expansion, development, and creation of a socio-educational space to preserve the native language and culture in the Yukaghir village. The practical results of the experiment can be used to solve similar problems in the world's educational society

Analysis of interrelation of financial results and financial condition of the company

The article deals with the fundamental categories of company analysis in a market economy such as its financial results and financial condition. Special attention is given to the study and justification of the mutual influence and dependencies between them with the help of formalized analytical models, non-formalized logical and empirical studies and conclusions. In particular, the authors of the article justify the mechanism of the influence of profit and profitability on bankruptcy risks. They underline the importance of obtaining the required amount of profit and the correctness of its use. Moreover, the authors propose criteria for evaluating the rational distribution and use of the company's net profit. The influence of the profit capitalization factor is confirmed by the example of a model of sustainable economic growth. The authors emphasize the importance of the issues under consideration in the development of management decisions, including the formation of dividend policy. The article also presents the authors' approach to some methodological aspects of analyzing the use of profits. The research is based on the financial statements of Russian construction companies. However, these models can be applied to commercial companies in other fields of activity

The Inductiveness of Agricultural Village-Type Cluster Creation in Developing Countries

The assessment of emerging risks is substantial risk in implementing and creating various types of clusters used in the agricultural sector of the economy. In this regard, the goal is to develop practical measures to ensure the creation of a cluster of an agricultural settlement at the regional level, taking into account various types of risk that directly affect its creation and development. The study revealed that within the framework of the policy of substitution for domestic production and marketing of agricultural products during the formation of a cluster, it would allow combining more into a standard established system from production, processing to the sale of finished agricultural products both at the local level and at the federal level. This approach will significantly harmonize the interests of all participants of the agroindustry, as well as significantly simplify and expand access to external export markets, thereby reducing the cost of marketing research. At the same time, clustering will increase the overall economic impact on individual farmers, which will have a more significant impact on the development of non-resource zonal territories employed to produce agricultural products. FINITE-ELEMENT MODELLING OF THE TYMPANIC MEMBRANE RETRACTION POCKET UNDER NEGATIVE PRESSURE IN THE TYMPANIC CAVITY

The finite-element calculation of the static stress-strain state of the middle ear was made in this paper. The malleus, incus and stapes models were constructed on the basis of tomographic data. The tympanic membrane model was obtained using the equations of elliptic hyperboloids. The tympanic membrane consists of the pars tensa and pars flaccida, which have different thicknesses and elasticity moduli. Absolute deformations of the tympanic membrane were defined at different values of negative pressure in the tympanic cavity. The critical values of elastic modulus for the pars tensa posterosuperior quadrant were found for the point at which the tympanic membrane touches the auditory ossicles. Obtained results can be used to predict the thickness of a cartilaginous graft which is overlaid on the posterosuperior quadrant of the pars tensa in order to eliminate the retraction pocket
