Using Valencia de Alcántara as a case study, this article analyzes the dynamics of municipal social protest and changes in the jurisdictional model which took place in the estates of the Order of Alcántara during the first half of the fourteenth century. We also include the transcription of eleven unpublished documents emitted by the Order to the village of Valencia from 1317 to 1353.A partir del ejemplo de Valencia de Alcántara, analizamos el proceso de contestación vecinal y transformación del modelo jurisdiccional operado en el maestrazgo de Alcántara durante la primera mitad del siglo XIV. Evaluación de tres antibióticos a nivel preventivo en la producción de pollos de engorde

El presente - trabajo se desarrolló en la galera avícola del Centro de Desarrollo Ganadero (C.D.G.) Cantón El Matazano, mu. nicipio de Soyapango, Departamento, de San Salvador, El objetivó fue evaluar diferentes antibióticos a nivel preventivo en la producción de pollos de engorde de la linea Árbor Acres. La duración del ensayo fue de 49 días, desde el 25 de mayo hasta el-13 de julio de 1989. Para ello se utilizaron 300 pollos de un día de edad, sin sexar- y distribuidos al azar en cuatro tratamientos identificados como.T0 (testigo) , T1(Cosumix Plus) , T2 (Baytril) y T3. (Eriprim). Cada tratamiento estuvo - constituido por tres repeticiones y cada repetición por 25 pollos. El diseñó estadístico utilizado fue completamente al azar y las seis variables evaluadas fueron: Consuno de alimento, ganancia de peso incrémento de peso, conversión alimenticia, peso en canal y estudio económico, para cada uno de. los tratamientos. La primera aplicación de antibióticos se inició, desde el primero hasta el cuarto día de edad, luego la segunda aplicación se hizo a los ocho días de edad junto a la primera vacunación contra Newcastle y los dos días siguiente; la tercera y cuarta aplicación de antibióticós , se efectuó de la misma manera durante e1 segundo y tercer refuerzo- contra el Newcastlé gue corresponden respectivamente los 18 y 28 días de eda

SW-VHDL Co-Verification Environment Using Open Source Tools

The verification of complex digital designs often involves the use of expensive simulators. The present paper proposes an approach to verify a specific family of complex hardware/software systems, whose hardware part, running on an FPGA, communicates with a software counterpart executed on an external processor, such as a user/operator software running on an external PC. The hardware is described in VHDL and the software may be described in any computer language that can be interpreted or compiled into a (Linux) executable file. Automatic Summarization of Soccer Highlights Using Audio-visual Descriptors

Automatic summarization generation of sports video content has been object of great interest for many years. Although semantic descriptions techniques have been proposed, many of the approaches still rely on low-level video descriptors that render quite limited results due to the complexity of the problem and to the low capability of the descriptors to represent semantic content. In this paper, a new approach for automatic highlights summarization generation of soccer videos using audio-visual descriptors is presented. The approach is based on the segmentation of the video sequence into shots that will be further analyzed to determine its relevance and interest. Of special interest in the approach is the use of the audio information that provides additional robustness to the overall performance of the summarization system. For every video shot a set of low and mid level audio-visual descriptors are computed and lately adequately combined in order to obtain different relevance measures based on empirical knowledge rules. The final summary is generated by selecting those shots with highest interest according to the specifications of the user and the results of relevance measures. A variety of results are presented with real soccer video sequences that prove the validity of the approach

Importancia de protocolo fasttrack en pacientes sometidos a derivación biliodigestiva, revisión bibliográfica.

Los protocolos ERAS por sus siglas en inglés (Enhanced Recovery after Surgery) se centran en reducir las complicaciones postoperatorias y la respuesta al estrés, optimizando la recuperación postoperatoria, dentro de las intervenciones el inicio temprano de la alimentación ha demostrado ser eficaz para reducir la morbilidad, los costos generales y la satisfacción del paciente. El presente estudio, revisión bibliográfica, plantea la importancia de tomar este tipo de medidas en pacientes con derivación biliodigestiva en el Hospital Médico Quirúrgico del Instituto Salvadoreños del Seguro Social. Cuantificar este aspecto en el Hospital Médico Quirúrgico del ISSS permitirá profundizar en estudios clínicos o analíticos para posteriormente implementar y protocolizar la intervención

A preliminary checklist of fungi at the Boston Harbor Islands

Between December 2012 and May 2017, we conducted a fungal inventory at the Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area (BHI) in Massachusetts. We extensively sampled 4 sites (Grape Island, Peddocks Island, Thompson Island, and World's End peninsula) and occasionally visited 4 others for sampling (Calf Island, Great Brewster Island, Slate Island, and Webb Memorial State Park). We made over 900 collections, of which 313 have been identified. The survey yielded 172 species in 123 genera, 62 families, 24 orders, 11 classes, and 2 phyla. We report 4 species as new, but not formally described, in the genera Orbilia, Resupinatus, and Xylaria. Another collection in the genus Lactarius may be new to science, but further morphological and molecular work is needed to confirm this conclusion. Additionally, Orbilia aprilis is a new report for North America, Proliferodiscus earoleucus represents only the second report for the US, and Chrysosporium sulfureum, a common fungus of some cheeses, was discovered on woodlice (Crustacea: Malacostraca: Isopoda: Oniscidea). We discuss our findings in the light of DNA-based identifications using the ITS ribosomal DNA region, including the advantages and disadvantages of this approach, and stress the need for biodiversity studies in urbanized areas during all seasons

Mejora de participación de mercado en la línea de reencauche de neumáticos OTR de Neuma Perú

El presente trabajo aborda la instalación de una planta de reencauche para neumáticos OTR y las mejoras que se han aplicado a esta para consolidar el servicio brindado a los neumáticos tanto de tajo abierto, subterráneos y de puerto; este servicio cumple con las mismas funciones, características y apariencia de los neumáticos OTR pero con la particularidad que presenta una banda de rodamiento producida en la planta. Al emplear esta banda de rodamiento el cliente aplaza la necesidad de comprar un neumático nuevo y puede maximizar el tiempo de vida de sus activos ganando además una ventaja competitiva ya que el precio del reencauche es significativamente menor al de un neumático nuevo. Es importante precisar que el éxito del proyecto también se apoya en la poca oferta que hay para satisfacer esta demanda, ya que solo dos empresas tienen la infraestructura y conocimientos para poder realizar este servicio.The present work deals with the installation of a retreader plant for OTR tires and the improvements that have been applied to it to consolidate the service provided to both open pit, underground and port tires; this service fulfills the same functions, characteristics and appearance of OTR tires but with the particularity of a tread produced in our plant. By using this tread, the customer postpones the need to buy a new tire and can maximize the life of their assets while also gaining a competitive advantage since the price of the retreading is significantly lower than that of a new tire. It is important to specify that the success of the project is also supported by the low supply that exists to meet this demand, since only two companies have the infrastructure and knowledge to be able to perform this service

Políticas sin participación social: Poblamiento rural y abandono de asentamientos en la Sierra de Gata, 1450-1750

This article analyzes the structure of the settlement in the land of Santibáñez el Alto between 1450 and 1750 in order to address the problem of rural depopulation. References and testimonies from fiscal and procedural sources and the travel costs analysis, shows that the peasant community developed a settlement structure which complemented the network of settlements and optimized the time of work of the peasantry since 1450, for being closer to the exploitation areas. This system begins its decline in the second half of the 16th century, when policies implemented from the Crown (sale of towns) and those developed from the local oligarchy (limitations on access to goods and services) had a negative impact its inhabitants. Finally, it is stated that the evolution of the settlements has been closely linked to the possibilities of community participation in its management and identity-makingEl artículo analiza la estructura del poblamiento en la tierra de Santibáñez el Alto entre 1450 y 1750 para abordar el problema del despoblamiento rural en Extremadura. A partir de las referencias y testimonios obtenidos de fuentes fiscales y procesales y de un análisis de costos de desplazamiento, el trabajo muestra que la comunidad campesina había desarrollado una estructura de poblamiento intercalar que desde 1450 complementaba a la red de asentamientos aldeanos y optimizaba el tiempo de trabajo, por situarse más cerca de las áreas de explotación. Este sistema inicia su declive en la segunda mitad del siglo XVI, cuando las políticas implementadas desde la Corona (ventas de aldeas) y las desarrolladas por la oligarquía local (limitaciones en el acceso a bienes y servicios) repercuten negativamente sobre sus habitantes. Finalmente, se plantea que la evolución del poblamiento ha estado estrechamente ligada a las posibilidades de participación comunitaria en su desarrollo, gestión y creación de identidad
