Winnicott e o pensamento pós-metafísico

The aim of this article is to sketch a Heiddegerian reading of Winnicott. Starting from the fact that the invitation to deal philosophically with fundamental problems of Psychoanalysis comes from Freud himself, the author tries to show that Heideggers ideas might be close to Winnicott's. While the philosopher presents the difference between multiple senses of being of objects and of being a man, the psychoanalyst states that 1) the process of constitution of sense of being, although it is ignored by traditional Psychoanalysis, is a task that makes part of intrinsical problems of the human being, since the very beginning; 2) this question cannot be accommodated inside the metaphysic of representation. The author does not intend to state a systematical unit between the two thinkers but only to show a conceptual affinity not only in the area of Epistemology and but also in the area of Ontology.O propósito do trabalho é o de esboçar uma leitura heideggeriana de Winnicott. Partindo do fato de que o convite para tratar filosoficamente certos problemas fundamentais da psicanálise vem do próprio Freud, o autor tenta mostrar que seu pensamento pode ser proveitosamente aproximado do pensamento de Winnicott. Enquanto o filósofo postula a diferença entre os múltiplos sentidos de ser das coisas do mundo e o sentido de ser do homem, o psicanalista propõe que o processo de constituição do sentido de ser, ignorado pela psicanálise tradicional, é uma tarefa que faz parte dos problemas intrínsecos ao existir humano desde o início e que essa questão não pode mais ser acomodada no interior da metafísica da representação. O texto não se propõe a estabelecer uma unidade sistemática entre os dois pensadores, senão, antes uma afinidade conceitual que se situa não apenas na área da epistemologia, mas sobretudo na da ontologia

Kant entre o ficcionalismo de Vaihinger e a fenomenologia de Heidegger

O artigo apresenta, de início, a interpretação ficcionalista de Kantoferecida por Vaihinger, para, em seguida, mostrar as suas limitações. Nacontinuação, analisa a interpretação fenomenológica de Kant elaborada porHeidegger, fazendo ver o caráter unilateral desta. No final, oferece argumentospara a tese de que as interpretações de Vaihinger e Heidegger, mesmoinsuficientes, esclarecem pontos importantes freqüentemente negligenciadosdo pensamento kantiano. Vaihinger chamou a atenção para a importância nosistema kantiano dos princípios ficcionais, os quais, mesmo sem terem valorobjetivo determinável, possuem um valor heurístico sem o qual a construçãodo sistema do conhecimento natural é impossível. Heidegger destacou ocaráter intuitivo do acesso aos objetos do conhecimento teórico enquanto tais,deixando, assim, aberto o caminho para uma interpretação da filosofia teóricade Kant não como psicologia, mas em termos de uma semântica a priori dotipo construtivista

O presente artigo tem como objetivo mostrar que a teoria kantiana da possibilidade de juízos a priori, o conteúdo essencial da sua crítica da razão pura, foi elaborada no intuito de garantir a solubilidade dos problemas necessários da razão pura e que essa teoria pode ser interpretada como uma semântica transcendental (a priori). The Bi-Functional Organization of Human Basement Membranes

The current basement membrane (BM) model proposes a single-layered extracellular matrix (ECM) sheet that is predominantly composed of laminins, collagen IVs and proteoglycans. The present data show that BM proteins and their domains are asymmetrically organized providing human BMs with side-specific properties: A) isolated human BMs roll up in a side-specific pattern, with the epithelial side facing outward and the stromal side inward. The rolling is independent of the curvature of the tissue from which the BMs were isolated. B) The epithelial side of BMs is twice as stiff as the stromal side, and C) epithelial cells adhere to the epithelial side of BMs only. Side-selective cell adhesion was also confirmed for BMs from mice and from chick embryos. We propose that the bi-functional organization of BMs is an inherent property of BMs and helps build the basic tissue architecture of metazoans with alternating epithelial and connective tissue layers

A computational analysis of lower bounds for big bucket production planning problems

In this paper, we analyze a variety of approaches to obtain lower bounds for multi-level production planning problems with big bucket capacities, i.e., problems in which multiple items compete for the same resources. We give an extensive survey of both known and new methods, and also establish relationships between some of these methods that, to our knowledge, have not been presented before. As will be highlighted, understanding the substructures of difficult problems provide crucial insights on why these problems are hard to solve, and this is addressed by a thorough analysis in the paper. We conclude with computational results on a variety of widely used test sets, and a discussion of future research
