[EN] The aim of this research is to present a simple and quick method to process LiDAR data
in different densities, in forest and cultivated areas. We´ll work with specific free software
with point clouds (FUSION) and data segmentation (INTERIMAGE). GIS (ArcGIS) will be
used as software support and management of geographic information desktop..
Nowadays, LiDAR technology has been established as a very reliable technique in the
evaluation of natural resources, highlighting its use in inventory, management and
modeling of forest areas. Some of these applications require the delimitation of tree
specimens and groups of them into stands, obtained from a hierarchical network aimed at
object and then integrated into a geodatabase.
In the first part of this research, the LiDAR data is described to obtain digital terrain
models (DTM) and surface (MDS), from which the digital model of vegetation (CHM) is
calculated.
In a second phase, different levels of segmentation and classification will be applied to
MDV, using the method of growing regions Baatz & Shape implemented in INTERIMAGE.
In a final stage the integration of LiDAR data with multispectral images to improve the
identification of canopy will be achieve.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the reliability and construct validity of the Valencian/Catalonian version of the Spanish Burnout Inventory (SBI) in a sample of non-university teachers from the Valencia province (Spain). The sample consisted of 1359 teachers (67.2% were women). This instrument contains 20 items distributed into four dimensions: Enthusiasm toward the job (5 items), Psychological exhaustion (4 items), Indolence (6 items) and Guilt (5 items). The psychometric properties were examined through the following analyses: confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and reliability (Cronbach's alpha). All items achieved appropriate values for both statistical and psychometric parameters, just as the four scales did. The four-factor model consistent with the Spanish original obtained a good data model fit: AGFI =.926, NNFI = .919, CFI = .930, RMSEA = .053(.050-.057). The Cronbach's alpha value was acceptable for the four scales of the instrument. These results contribute to the psychometric validation of the questionnaire, allowing to conclude that the CESQT, in Valencian / Catalan, is a reliable and valid instrument for evaluating the SQT in non-university teaching personnel
Does the GATT/WTO promote trade? After all, Rose was right
This paper re-examines the efect of the GATT/WTO on trade using recent econometric developments that allow us estimating structural gravity equations with the Poisson pseudo-maximum likelihood (PPML) estimator on a large dataset that requires computing high-dimensional fxed efects. By doing so, we overcome computational limitations that are present in previous studies. In line with Rose's (Am Econ Rev 94:98-114, 2004) seminal work, we fnd that, unlike regional trade agreements and currency unions, the GATT/WTO accession has not generated positive trade efects. This result is robust to the use of alternative measures of trade fows, across periods and country groups, to changes in the periodicity of the data, when taking into account the GATT/WTO accession dynamics, to controlling for the participation of only one country of the dyad in GATT/WTO, to the consideration of non-member participants, and to the use of alternative datasets. Notwithstanding, we also find that PPML results are sensitive to the defnition of the dependent variable
This study aims to analyse the psychometric properties of the resources scales of the UNIPSICO questionnaire for the Valencian/Catalan version. The sample was 1359 teachers from public centres in the province of Valencia. Data collection was carried out using the UNIPSICO questionnaire scales that evaluate psychosocial factors of resources at work (30 items), which are grouped into five scales: Resources (7 items), Social support at work (6 items), Feedback (8 items), Autonomy (5 items), and Transformational leadership (4 items). A confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was performed and Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald’s omega values were calculated for the scales. All items presented adequate statistical and psychometric values. The five-factor model that reproduces the original structure of the questionnaire presented an adequate fit to the data, and gender invariance. The Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald’s omega values were acceptable for the five scales of the instrument. These results contribute to the psychometric validation of the questionnaire and they permit the conclusion that the resources scales of the UNIPSICO questionnaire translated into the Valencian/Catalan language are a reliable and valid instrument to assess psychosocial risks in non-university teaching personnel. EMU and Trade : A PPML re-assessment with intra-national trade flows
Since Rose's (2000) path-breaking study, a lot of studies have been carried out on the effect of currency unions on trade. Both Rose's striking finding that sharing a currency union more than triples trade between countries and the creation of the euro have propelled an intense debate on this issue and, in particular, about the effect of the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) on trade. More than 50 papers have examined the effect of EMU on bilateral trade flows given that it is, by far, the most important monetary union. However, so far the results vary greatly across studies and even the most recent articles provide mixed results. Whereas Glick and Rose (2016) and Larch, Wanner, and Yotov (2018) find a positive EMU effect on trade, Mika and Zymek (2018) and Larch, Wanner, Yotov, and Zylkin (2019) provide no evidence of a positive effect on trade. Therefore, the debate is still ongoing
