O presente texto tem como objetivo relatar a experiência de uma atividade de atendimento psicológico, para estudantes universitários, por meio da abordagem de psicoterapia breve, dentro de um projeto mais amplo que visa a construção de um espaço de atenção psicossocial. A experiência relatada aconteceu em uma universidade pública no Amazonas e se refere a um projeto de extensão que iniciou suas intervenções em outubro de 2018. Descrevem-se as características do projeto, pontuando as principais etapas de sua implementação, desde seu planejamento até a chegada da clientela, além das estratégias utilizadas durante todo percurso até os atendimentos. Concluiu-se que esta vivência do EPSICO destaca não só o lugar da psicologia em outros contextos, como amplia o debate sobre a atuação da psicologia e suas ferramentas e lugares de atuação na promoção à saúde mental.Este documento tiene como objetivo informar la experiencia de un servicio de atención psicológica para estudiantes universitarios a través del breve enfoque de psicoterapia. La experiencia informada se refiere a un proyecto de extensión que comenzó sus intervenciones en octubre de 2018, con una duración de proyección de dos años. Sucede en una universidad pública en la Amazonía. Las características del proyecto se describen señalando las principales quejas de los estudiantes y la estrategia psicoterapéutica utilizada en esta extensión. Se discute la experiencia como una posibilidad de saltar a la constitución de redes de atención de salud mental de estudiantes universitarios más amplios, con miras a promover la autonomía de los sujetos involucrados. Se considera que esta experiencia de EPSICO no solo destaca el lugar de la psicología en otros contextos sino que también amplía el debate sobre el desempeño de la psicología y sus herramientas y lugares de acción para promover la salud mental.This paper aims to report the experience of a psychological care service for university students through the brief psychotherapy approach. The reported experience refers to an extension project that began its interventions in October 2018, with a projection duration of two years. It happens at a public university in the Amazon. The characteristics of the project are described by pointing out the main complaints of the students and the psychotherapeutic strategy used in this extension. The experience is discussed as a possibility of leap to the constitution of mental health care networks of broader university students, with a view to promoting the autonomy of the subjects involved. It is considered that this experience of EPSICO not only highlights the place of psychology in other contexts but also broadens the debate about the performance of psychology and its tools and places of action in promoting mental health.Cet article a pour but de rendre compte de l’expérience d’un service de prise en charge psychologique pour les étudiants universitaires par le biais d’une approche de psychothérapie brève. L'expérience rapportée fait référence à un projet d'extension ayant débuté ses interventions en octobre 2018 avec une durée de projection de deux ans. Cela se passe dans une université publique amazonienne. Les caractéristiques du projet sont décrites en soulignant les principales plaintes des étudiants et la stratégie psychothérapeutique utilisée dans cette extension. L’expérience est discutée comme une possibilité de passer à la constitution de réseaux de soins de santé mentale d’étudiants universitaires plus larges, en vue de promouvoir l’autonomie des sujets concernés. On considère que cette expérience d'EPSICO met en évidence non seulement la place de la psychologie dans d'autres contextes, mais élargit également le débat sur les performances de la psychologie, ses outils et ses lieux d'action dans la promotion de la santé mental

“Body and Soul Pain”: Conception and social support network for women who experienced marital violence

Violence is a problem to be understood in an interdisciplinary way. This qualitative study aimed to understand the conception of women who experienced marital violence and structurally analyze their social support networks. Five women who reported their spouses to the Women’s Police Station (DECCM) and were being monitored by the Technical Team of the Women’s Emergency Support Service (SAPEM) were interviewed using a semi-structured questionnaire. A constructive-interpretive analysis was performed to identify the conceptions of experience of marital violence and through the Calgary Family Assessment Model (CFAM) it was possible to make an analysis and a graphic representation of the social support network for the women participating in this study. In general, it was observed that all women understand physical violence as actions that cause damage to the human anatomical and physiological structure. However, their conceptions are not limited to physical injury; they are also related to affective issues. For the participants, conjugal violence is not fragmented into “types of violence”, on the contrary, it occurs “agglutinated”, affecting the body and soul. Regarding the development of women’s social support network, they all have a family member as support – usually sons/daughters or mothers – and most of them count on the SAPEM technical team. The police station/police is also part of the network. Therefore, these tactics used in the social support network structure have different mechanisms by which the women reorganized their stories, electing some people and/or institutions, excluding others, highlighting this or that person and/or institution to make them agents for minimizing threatening behavior to themselves and their families. These people, when called in, seem to act either to curb violence and to strengthen the couple’s marital bonds or to break these bond

PANORAMA DAS CONDIÇÕES FEMININAS NO AMAZONAS: DO PERÍODO COLONIAL AO SÉCULO XX

O presente artigo retrata um panorama das condições femininas no Amazonas do período colonial ao século XX, com a implantação da Zona Franca de Manaus. Iniciamos com uma análise do mito das índias “exóticas” e “dispostas” a satisfazer a lascívia do homem branco. Abordamos a visão estruturada pelas representações da “mulher que não se dá com seringa”, da mulher de padrão europeu que serve para casar e da mulher pobre responsável pela existência da imoralidade. Após isso, segue análise sobre o período da Zona Franca de Manaus, em que as mulheres vivenciaram o sexismo no mercado de trabalho industrial o que suscitou a organização de movimentos femininos no PIM. Essa análise nos permitiu compreender que as variações nas condições femininas na Amazônia, fragmentos da história de mulheres amazonenses sob o viés dos papéis de gênero relacionando com o pensamento de autoras feministas, e registrar a contribuição das mulheres da região ao desenvolvimento e autonomia territorial

Domestic violence and socioeconomic aspects: binding, negotiations and ruptures

[PT] O objetivo foi identificar aspectos socioeconômicos relacionados à violência doméstica. Adotou-se, na análise, a Teoria Social de Pierre Bourdieu. Optou-se pela abordagem qualitativa, com análise documental e pesquisa de campo, utilizando entrevista semiestruturada com nove interlocutoras atendidas em Serviço de Apoio no município de Itacoatiara, Amazonas, Brasil. Como resultados tem-se que as variáveis de gênero e classe reforçaram relações conjugais com assimetria de poder; medos relacionados à denúncia estavam fortemente relacionados à fragilidade da efetivação do sistema de proteção de mulheres no cenário de interior do Amazonas; o trabalho de cuidado familiar, em detrimento do trabalho formal remunerado, foi dispositivo perpetuador da dependência financeira.[EN] The objective was to identify socioeconomic aspects related to domestic violence. Pierre Bourdieu's Social Theory was adopted in the analysis. A qualitative approach was chosen, with document analysis and field research, using semi-structured interviews with nine interlocutors assisted in the Support Service in the municipality of Itacoatiara,Brazil. As a result, gender and class variables strengthened marital relationships with power asymmetry; fears related to the complaint were strongly related to the protection of the effectiveness of the women's protection system in the scenario of the interior of the Amazon; family care work, to the detriment of paid formal work, was the device that perpetuated financial dependence

RESERVATÓRIOS ANIMAIS DA LEPTOSPIROSE: UMA REVISÃO BIBLIOGRÁFICA

Foram lidos 80 trabalhos publicados, a busca se deu através de portais indexadores, bibliotecas, livros e informes técnicos que citam como descritores as palavras (lepstospiras em animais; sorovares de leptospiras e leptospirose em animais). Assim relatamos os achados de leptospira em espécies domésticas de criação, sinantrópicas e silvestres. Conhecer os sorovares prevalentes, bem como os hospedeiros que participam do ciclo da leptospirose, são estratégias de grande importância que devem ser adotadas para o entendimento epidemiológico da doença

Effects of blood flow restriction therapy in patients with knee osteoarthritis: protocol for an overview of systematic reviews

BackgroundOsteoarthritis (OA) is the most common and prevalent musculoskeletal disease associated with population aging, negatively impacting function and quality of life. A consequence of knee OA is quadriceps muscle weakness. Musculoskeletal rehabilitation using low load exercises, associated with Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) may be a useful alternative to high load exercises when those cannot be tolerated. Several systematic reviews have reported inconclusive results due to discrepancies in study findings, heterogeneity of results, evaluated time points, and research questions explored.ObjectiveTo perform an overview of systematic reviews with meta-analyses, synthesizing the most recent evidence on the effects of muscle strength training with BFR for knee OA.MethodologySystematic reviews that include primary controlled and randomized clinical trials will be considered for inclusion. Articles will be considered only if they present a clear and reproducible methodological structure, and when they clearly demonstrate that a critical analysis of the evidence was carried out using instrumented analysis. Narrative reviews, other types of review, overviews of systematic reviews, and diagnostic, prognostic and economic evaluation studies will be excluded. Studies must include adults aged 40 years and older with a diagnosis of knee OA. Two authors will perform an electronic search with guidance from an experienced librarian. The following databases will be searched: PubMed via MEDLINE, Embase, CENTRAL (Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials), PEDro, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) via EBSCO host, Web of Science, and the gray literature. The search strategy used in the databases will follow the acronym PICOS (population, intervention, comparison, outcome, and study design). Screening (i.e., titles and abstracts) of studies identified by the search strategy will be selected using Rayyan (http://rayyan.qcri.org). An overview of migratory birds in Brazil

We reviewed the occurrences and distributional patterns of migratory species of birds in Brazil. A species was classified as migratory when at least part of its population performs cyclical, seasonal movements with high fidelity to its breeding grounds. Of the 1,919 species of birds recorded in Brazil, 198 (10.3%) are migratory. Of these, 127 (64%) were classified as Migratory and 71 (36%) as Partially Migratory. A few species (83; 4.3%) were classified as Vagrant and eight (0,4%) species could not be defined due to limited information available, or due to conflicting data.Fil: Somenzari, Marina.
