Statistical Modeling of Migration Attractiveness of the EU Member States

Identifying the relationship between the migration attractiveness of the European Union countries and their level of socio-economic development is investigated. An approach is proposed identify influences on migration socio-economic characteristics, by aggregating and reducing their diversity, and substantiating the cause-and-effect relationships of the studied phenomenon. A stable classification of countries scheme is developed according to the attractiveness of migration on aggregate factors, and then an econometric model of a binary choice using panel data for 2008-2010 was applying, quantifying the impact of aggregate designed factors on immigration and emigration

Jazykové odcizení ve vybraných dílech vědeckofantastické literatury

This work is a discussion of the connections between language in science fiction, the formalist concept of estrangement, and gender studies. The thesis suggests that the language of science fiction features linguistic estrangement that manifests itself in the form of a device and an effect which is produced as a result of certain modification of language used in a science fiction narrative. As the device of linguistic estrangement can be aimed at highlighting various processes, this thesis focuses on a narrow category of the representation of the sexes in the English language and the transformation of gender-biased language and the unequal representation of sexes via the aforementioned device. The introduction to this work gives an overview of the current debate on the topic in order to introduce the reader to the relevance of the discussion. The first chapter explores the definition of science fiction through the theory of cognitive estrangement by Darko Suvin and explains the choice of this medium for the study of language and gender. Then, it gives a definition of the device of literary estrangement as well as explains the nature and the usage of linguistic estrangement in science fiction. The second and the third chapters exemplify this phenomenon in selected works, Woman on the Edge of Time by...Daná práce je diskusí o souvislostech mezi jazykem užívaném ve vědeckofantastické literatuře, formalistickém pojetí odcizení a genderovými studiemi. Práce naznačuje, že jazyk vědeckofantastické literatury představuje jazykové odcizení, které se projevuje ve formě prostředku a efektu, který je výsledkem určité modifikace jazyka používaného ve vědeckofantastickém příběhu. Vzhledem k tomu, že nástroj jazykového odcizení může být zaměřen na zvýraznění různých procesů, je tato práce zaměřena na úzkou kategorii zastoupení pohlaví v anglickém jazyce a transformaci genderově předpojatého jazyka a nerovnoměrného zastoupení pohlaví prostřednictvím výše uvedeného prostředku. Úvod do této práce poskytuje přehled o aktuální diskusi na toto téma s cílem seznámit čtenáře s významem diskuse. První kapitola zkoumá definici vědeckofantastické literatury prostřednictvím teorie kognitivního odcizení Darka Suvina a vysvětluje výběr tohoto média pro studium jazyka a pohlaví. Poté definuje literární odcizení a vysvětluje podstatu a využití lingvistického odcizení ve vědeckofantastické literatuře. Luontomenetelmät erityisryhmien kuntoutuksessa

Luonnon erilaiset hyvinvointivaikutukset mielenterveyden ja yleensä terveyden edistäjinä on nykyisin nostettu esille erilaisten hankkeiden ansiosta. Valtakunnallisesti Green Care Finland on tärkeä toimija tällä alueella. Etelä-Savossa on meneillään Luontohoiva-hanke, johon tämä opinnäytetyö osaltaan liittyy. Hankkeessa on kehitetty sosiaali- ja terveysalan sekä matkailun toimijoiden luontolähtöisiä palveluja. Suunnittelimme virkistyspäivän ja teimme esitteen hankkeessa mukana olleille Kuivaharjun maatalous-kuntayhtymälle ja Aurinkolaukalle niiden yhteisesti toteuttamasta virkistyspäivästä mielenterveyskun-toutujille. Opinnäytetyö on laadultaan toiminnallinen. Toiminnallisen osuuden sisällön suunnittelussa hyödynnet-tiin osallistujille tehtyä kyselyä. Teoriaosuuden ensimmäisessä osiossa perehdytään luonnon hyvinvoin-tivaikutuksiin sekä luonnon hyödynnettävyyteen mielenterveyskuntoutuksen osana sekä luonnon merki-tykseen iäkkäiden ja kehitysvammaisten kuntoutuksessa. Raportin toinen osa tarkastelee erilaisia luon-tomenetelmiä ja niiden vaikutuksia terveyteen. Opinnäytetyön viimeinen osa koostuu toteutetun virkis-tyspäivän suunnittelusta, järjestämisestä, arvioinnista ja esitteestä. Esite toteutettiin sekä suomen- että venäjänkielisenä. Toteutetun palautekyselyn perusteella on pääteltävissä, että mielenterveyskuntoutujat kokivat luonnossa olemisen olleen heille hyödyllinen kokemus sekä fyysisesti, sosiaalisesti että psyykkisesti. He pääsivät hetkeksi irti arjesta ja pystyivät rentoutumaan ja rauhoittumaan luonnon helmassa ollessaan. Opinnäytetyön tulosten sekä tuotekehittelyn avulla voidaan toteuttaa uusia tuotteita ja näin tukea maa-seudun monialaista yrittäjyyttä.Different projects have brought up the importance of nature concerning the promotion of mental health and physical health. Green Care Finland is a nationally important provider in this area. This thesis is related to a project called Luontohoiva which is an ongoing project in the Southern Savonia region. The project is about developing nature-based possibilities for service providers in social, health care and travelling business. We planned a one-day outing and made a brochure about it for the companies participating in this project, namely Kuivaharju and Aurinkolaukka, who would cooperatively provide for the outing for mental health rehabilitation clients. This thesis is a functional study which was planned according to a survey among the participants. The theoretical framework deals with topics such as the effects of nature on well-being, utilization of nature in mental health rehabilitation as well as the significance of nature in the rehabilitation of the elderly and the disabled. The second part of our thesis is about nature-based activities and their effect on health. The last part of our thesis is about planning, organization and evaluation of this outing, including the brochure which was made in Finnish and in Russian. The feedback we got about the outing was positive and as a conclusion the clients thought that the outing day in the nature was good for them both socially, physically and mentally. They got a chance to get rid of the routine and were able to relax and calm down in a soothing nature environment. Based on our thesis, with its results and with product development, it is possible to accomplish new products and in this way to encourage the various types of entrepreneurship in the countryside

MATHEMATICAL TASKS AS A MEANS OF IMPROVING THE ECOLOGICAL CULTURE OF THE FUTURE TEACHERS

With the development of civilization, the environment takes an increasing place in our lives. Analysis of the current state of environmental education of students in the University allows to make a conclusion about the need for a comprehensive approach to the problems of formation of ecological culture of future teachers. One of the directions is the integration of mathematics and ecology. Environmental knowledge can be generated when the study of mathematics through the solution of tasks with environmental content. This article presents mathematical tasks with environmental contents of the different sections of mathematics. MATHEMATICAL TASKS AS A MEANS OF FORMING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES OF FUTURE TEACHERS

An important result of the preparation of the future teacher of mathematics is the formed professional competences. The process of formation should be carried out systematically, starting from the first year. While studying at the university, the foundations of modern mathematical knowledge should be laid, the need for professional self-development and self-education should be formed. The purpose of the study: the development of tools that contribute to the formation and development of professional competencies of students, future teachers of mathematics, in the study of mathematical disciplines. The study analyzed the professional competencies of a mathematics teacher, the components of mathematical culture and established their relationship. The competencies that can be formed during the first year of study are defined. Identified the need to convert standard mathematical problems. Based on the research, a technology for creating special complex problems based on standard mathematical problems has been developed. Tasks consist of two parts: subject (mathematical) and professionally-oriented. Tasks can be used to form subject and professional competencies, diagnose their formation. The article presents the requirements for them, types and examples of tasks. The result of the assignments from the point of view of the formation of subject and professional competences is described.

Moodle LMS: Positive and Negative Aspects of Using Distance Education in Higher Education Institutions

The Moodle learning management system (LMS) is currently successfully integrated into the educational activities of higher education. This article discusses the peculiarities of Moodle LMS and elements of training courses in it. The research aims at highlighting the assessments of opportunities and disadvantages of the Moodle LMS from the positions of undergraduate students and teachers in the quarantine conditions and before them. The research was conducted at the Kozma Minin Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University in 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 academic years at the Faculty of Management, Social and Technical Services. The research involved teachers and first to fourth year full-time undergraduate students. The analysis of both positive and negative feedback from undergraduate students and teachers about working in a normal learning model and in self-isolation has been presented. Interactive elements of the learning environment have been considered and the research results of students' attitudes to its various elements have been described. The methods and potential use of Moodle by means of different electronic devices have been explored, and the usage frequency of these devices during quarantine has been analyzed. The analysis of negative feedback about the students’ and teachers’ work in the system during the pandemic has been given. Control methods in the Moodle environment, testing, and authors’ control methods have been studied. In the survey, the respondents evaluated the basic functions of the Moodle LMS, popular in teaching, gave a description of the advantages and disadvantages of this system and evaluated potential areas of system development in educational practice of the University. The conclusions have been made about the need to implement blended learning using the Moodle LMS, which combines various types of distance and classroom work for students

Спомощьюсовременногостатистического инструментария выявлена структура временного ряда анализируемого показателя - выделена циклическая и трендовая составляющие, проведено моделирование одномерноговременногорядасучетомвыделенных циклов и колеблемости. Дан сравнительныйанализтенденциидинамикииколеблемостиобщегокоэффициентарождаемости по выделенным циклам. Выявлены факторы и оценено их влияние на динамику общего коэффициента рождаемости в начавшейся восходящей фазе цикла (2004-2012 годы).Разработан факторный прогноз и прогноз по одномерному временному ряду
