La forme scolaire dans tous ses états

Cet article vise à souligner l’intérêt pour les sciences sociales à considérer l\u27institution scolaire, dans son histoire propre, comme le lieu où se nouent des formes de relations sociales déterminées et où se jouent des rapports singuliers au savoir et au pouvoir. Longtemps concentrés sur la question centrale du rapport des classes sociales à l\u27institution scolaire, les chercheurs ont souvent oublié d\u27interroger l\u27école en tant que telle, c\u27est-à-dire comme sphère relativement autonome d\u27activités où se déploient des pratiques spécifiques autour de savoirs spécifiques. Il s’agit de rappeler les différentes étapes de l\u27histoire de cette forme scolaire en France depuis les collèges d\u27Ancien Régime jusqu\u27aux écoles propres à un espace scolaire relativement unifié (au XXe siècle), en passant par les petites écoles de Port- Royal (1637-1660), les petites écoles rurales d\u27Ancien Régime, les petites écoles urbaines (de Charles Démia et Jean-Baptiste de la Salle) et les écoles mutuelles. À travers cette reconstruction historique, l’auteur s\u27efforce plus particulièrement de saisir la forme scolaire de socialisation dans ses rapports avec la constitution de savoirs écrits explicites et avec l\u27objectivation écrite des moyens nécessaires à leur apprentissage: codification des savoirs et de la relation sociale. Die Institution Schule, die in ihrer Geschichte als ein Ort zu begreifen ist, an dem sich nicht nur entscheidende Formen sozialer Beziehungen knüpfen sondern auch einzigartige Wechselspiele zwischen Wissen und Macht ergeben. Lange Zeit auf die zentrale Frage der sozialen Klassenkonflikte im Erziehungsbereich konzentriert, haben die Sozialwissenschaften die Schule als Institution vernachlässigt, die eine relativ autonome Sphäre von Aktivitäten mit spezifischem Wissen und entsprechenden Praxen entfaltet. In diesem Zusammenhang sollen die Etappen der Geschichte der Schullehrform in Frankreich dargestellt werden: den Kollegien des Ancien Régime bis hin zu den Schulen des 20. Jh. Dabei werden die kleinen Schulen des Port Royal (1637 – 1660), die Landschulen des Ancien Régime (von Charles Démia und Jean-Batiste de la Salle) und nicht zuletzt die Schulen der mutualistischen Bewegung vorgestellt. Was Durkheim showing an imperialist side when he wrote that "psychology is destined to be partly renewed" under the influence of sociological research or when he asserted that "the whole sociology is a psychology" and was he at risk of making the borders seem even less clear? In fact, the evolution of perceptions about what is sociological and what is not raises the tricky question of the definition of what is "social". This article argues that if sociology is to gain greater scientific autonomy and increase its field of intelligibility, then it must accept the diversity of the range of its observation. Within the list of sociologically studied behavioural variations it must include the interindividual and intra-individual variations that, until now, have been left to psychology.Où commencent et òu s'arrêtent les domaines respectifs du sociologue et du psychologue? Importance Sampling for Stochastic Gradient Descent in Deep Neural Networks

Stochastic gradient descent samples uniformly the training set to build an unbiased gradient estimate with a limited number of samples. However, at a given step of the training process, some data are more helpful than others to continue learning. Importance sampling for training deep neural networks has been widely studied to propose sampling schemes yielding better performance than the uniform sampling scheme. After recalling the theory of importance sampling for deep learning, this paper reviews the challenges inherent to this research area. In particular, we propose a metric allowing the assessment of the quality of a given sampling scheme; and we study the interplay between the sampling scheme and the optimizer used.Comment: 17 pages, 3 figure

Contra lo que reivindican tácitamente numerosas autobiografías con su "retórica del yo", a saber, la autenticidad y la verdad sobre sí mismo, los textos autobiográficos deben de ser tratados muy críticamente. Es imposible hacer de la autobiografía un objeto de estudio o un material para el estudio sin cuestionar radicalmente el mito de la autenticidad. El sociólogo, para que sea pertinente la utilización de textos autobiográficos como material interpretable, debe sacar informaciones de los contextos extra-textuales (escolares, políticos, religiosos, familiares…) correspondientes a los diferentes momentos de la trayectoria narrada, y también al momento en el que el escritor habla de sí mismo, para comprender a partir de qué presupuestos culturales, de qué categorías históricas de percepción el autor se "dice" y se "pone en escena"

Évaluation de l'apport des aspects, des sujets et des vues pour la composition et la réutilisation des modèles

National audienceThe reuse, the evolution or the fast adaptation of the code of an application are among the strongest concerns of companies. Model engineering tries to bring a solution putting the model in the center of the software development and by capturing the business know-how initially described in the code of the application. This approach has the advantage to make the description independant of software platforms. Our objective in this paper is to present three different approaches for the composition of models, to evaluate them using the criteria proposed by the AOSD-EUROPE network of excellence in order to extract relevant information. From this evaluation, this paper provides new proposals. The evaluation aims at showing the capacity of each approach to support the composition of both functional and extra-functional concerns
