Crónica de una muerte teatralizada nos ofrecen los autores quienes, apoyados en escasa información del autor de la obra con la que cuentan, así como en los correspondientes programas de mano, a la vez que hacen un recuento cronológico de los respectivos repartos, dándole su lugar a cada uno de los participantes, nos permiten hacer en retrospectiva un análisis cronológico de las múltiples representaciones que, a lo largo de sus 30 años ha tenido esta alusiva obra en nuestro ámbito universitario; motivo de orgullo de quienes hemos sido partícipes en algún momento público asiduo, así como para esta institución, una de cuyas más altas funciones es la de promover y difundir la cultura

Mientras el país se hallaba inmerso en un proceso conservador de construcción nacional, Aragón fue incorporado de forma entusiasta y activa por sus propios intelectuales en el nuevo relato unificador. Su realidad social y cultural -a partir de entonces edulcorada- dio paso a una imagen costumbrista repleta de tópicos que, a través de las zarzuelas ambientadas en su territorio, se aceptaron, asimilaron y expandieron a lo largo y ancho de la nación. El baturrismo, la Virgen del Pilar y la jota se alzaron como las nuevas señas de identidad del Aragón idealizado, ejerciendo una influencia colosal cuyos efectos pueden extenderse incluso hasta la actualidad.<br /

    Los anexos se incluyen en el archivo PDFEste trabajo pretende diseñar una estrategia de enseñanza aprendizaje según el enfoque Web-based instruction con el objetivo de ayudar a los estudiantes de la academia de idiomas A&amp;V a prepararse para el Pearson Test of English General. En esta investigación- acción práctica 26 participantes del examen, de los cuales 23 son estudiantes (evaluados) y tres son docentes (evaluadores), identifican las principales dificultades del examen, proponen medidas para superar esos obstáculos y evalúan la pertinencia de un sitio web de materiales didácticos piloto como respuesta a las adversidades previamente determinadas. Se concluye que el enfoque de web-based instruction mediante el diseño de un sitio web formativo de materiales didácticos puede contribuir a que los estudiantes se preparen para el Pearson Test of English General en A&amp;V ya que les ayuda a familiarizarse con la prueba, a administrar mejor el tiempo, a entrenarse en cada sección y a aprender consejos prácticos ligados a cada actividad comunicativa de la lengua. No obstante, se advierte que, aunque web-based instruction se caracteriza por hipertextualidad, accesibilidad, empoderamiento de estudiantes e interacción, el último ítem representa un punto a desarrollar en intervenciones futuras.This paper intends to design a teaching-learning strategy according to the Web-based instruction approach with the aim of helping students at A&amp;V language academy prepare for the Pearson Test of English General. In this practical action research 26 test participants, of which 23 are students (evaluated) and three are teachers (evaluators), identify the main difficulties of the exam, propose measures to overcome these obstacles and evaluate the pertinence of a website of teaching materials in response to previously determined adversities. It is concluded that the web-based instruction approach by designing a website of teaching materials can contribute to students preparing for the Pearson Test of English General at A&amp;V because it helps them familiarize with the test, administer time better, train in each section and learn practical advice linked to each communicative activity. However, it is noted that, although web-based instruction is characterized by hypertextuality, accessibility, student empowerment and interaction, the last item might represent a challenge for future interventions

    A Novel Zero-Trust Network Access Control Scheme based on the Security Profile of Devices and Users

    Security constitutes a principal concern for communication networks and services at present. This way, threats should be under control to minimize risks over time in real environments. With this aim, we introduce here a new approach for access control aimed to strengthen security in corporate networks and service providers related environments. Our proposal, named SADAC (Security Attribute-based Dynamic Access Control) presents three main novel features: (i) security related attributes regarding both configuration and operation are considered for network access control of final devices/users; (ii) a dynamic supervision procedure is implemented to evaluate the security profile associated to devices/users over time and, if so, to apply corresponding access restrictions; and (iii) a supervision procedure that also permits to diagnose the causes of inadequate security behaviours, so that the final devices/users can adapt their configuration and/or operation. We describe the overall access control methodology as well as the aspects for its implementation. In particular, we present and evaluate the specific deployment of SADAC for a corporate WiFi environment supported on a Raspberry Pi-based AP to provide Internet access to mobile devices. Through this experimentation we can conclude the convenience of adopting the approach for improving security by minimizing risks in network and communication environments

    Ladder Diagram Petri Nets: Discrete Event Systems

    Ladder diagram language (LD) is a common programming language in industry to develop control algorithms of discrete event systems (DESs). Besides, it is one of the five programming languages supported by the International Electrotechnical Commission through the IEC-61131-3 standard. On the other hand, Petri net (PN) theory is both a graphical and mathematical tool used to model discrete event systems, particularly in this study, control lines used in industrial algorithms. Control algorithms in LD are generally developed based on the experience of control system programmers. Therefore, it is still a relevant problem how to formalize the current and new control algorithms. In this chapter, are analyzed lines in LD used more frequently in control algorithms. Additionally, an element-to-element transformation methodology from a LD program to a PN model is proposed

    Valoración y Gestión del Riesgo de Reincidencia Delictiva en Menores Infractores: una Revisión de Instrumentos

    Se conceptualizan las distintas aproximaciones teóricas y metodológicas sobre valoración y gestión del riesgo de reincidencia delictiva en menores infractores. Se realiza una revisión sistemática de los instrumentos empleados con mayor frecuencia para valorar y gestionar el riesgo de reincidencia. Se emplean las bases de datos bibliográficos PsycINFO y Google Académico. Se seleccionan aquellos instrumentos cuyas puntuaciones presentan adecuados niveles de validez predictiva y aquellos cuyas características resultan relevantes por su idiosincrasia. Se localizan quince instrumentos: tres escalas actuariales (JSORRAT-II, Static-99 y PCL:YV) y doce instrumentos clínico-estructurados (YLS/CMI, SAVRY, SIED-AJ, EARL-20B, EARL-21G, J-SOAP-II, ERASOR 2.0, MEGA, Asset, ARMIDILO-S, DASH-13 y PREVI-A). Existe una gran variabilidad en los resultados en cuanto a validez predictiva cuando se comparan diferentes estudios realizados con un mismo instrumento. La adecuación de un instrumento al contexto judicial debe basarse en resultados de valores de validez predictiva (AUC) a partir de .70-.75

    Integrative transcriptome analysis of malignant pleural mesothelioma reveals a clinically relevant immune-based classification

    Background: Malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) is a rare and aggressive neoplasia affecting the lung mesothelium. Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) in MPM have not been extremely successful, likely due to poor identification of suitable candidate patients for the therapy. We aimed to identify cellular immune fractions associated with clinical outcome and classify patients with MPM based on their immune contexture. For each defined group, we sought for molecular specificities that could help further define our MPM classification at the genomic and transcriptomic level, as well as identify differential therapeutic strategies based on transcriptional signatures predictive of drug response. Methods: The abundance of 20 immune cell fractions in 516 MPM samples from 7 gene expression datasets was inferred using gene set variation analysis. Identification of clinically relevant fractions was performed with Cox proportional-hazards models adjusted for age, stage, sex, and tumor histology. Immune-based groups were defined based on the identified fractions. Results: T-helper 2 (TH2) and cytotoxic T (TC) cells were found to be consistently associated with overall survival. Three immune clusters (IG) were subsequently defined based on TH2 and TC immune infiltration levels: IG1 (54.5%) was characterized by high TH2 and low TC levels, IG2 (37%) had either low or high levels of both fractions, and IG3 (8.5%) was defined by low TH2 and high TC levels. IG1 and IG3 groups were associated with worse and better overall survival, respectively. While no differential genomic alterations were identified among immune groups, at the transcriptional level, IG1 samples showed upregulation of proliferation signatures, while IG3 samples presented upregulation of immune and inflammation-related pathways. Finally, the integration of gene expression with functional signatures of drug response showed that IG3 patients might be more likely to respond to ICI. Conclusions: This study identifies a novel immune-based signature with potential clinical relevance based on TH2 and TC levels, unveiling a fraction of patients with MPM with better prognosis and who might benefit from immune-based therapies. Molecular specificities of the different groups might be used to tailor specific potential therapies in the future

    El nogal pecanero es uno de los cultivos de gran valor económico en México, con un valor de producción de $12, 896 138 (millones de pesos) en 2022; se cultiva en 20 de los 32 estados de la República mexicana. Coahuila es el segundo estado productor de nuez con dos grandes zonas productoras, la Comarca Lagunera y la Región Norte; en esta última, las principales plagas que se presentan cada ciclo agrícola son Acrobasis nuxvorella (Neunzing) Gusano Barrenador de la Nuez, Carya caryana (Fitch) Gusano Barrenador del Ruezno y Menellia caryella (Fitch) y Monelliopsis pecanis Bissell los pulgones (negro y amarillo); sin embargo, en años recientes se han presentado de manera esporádica organismos que cada vez amplían su distribución, insectos conocidos como plagas emergente, la mayoría invasoras; en el presente trabajo se estudió al minador de la hoja (Cameraria caryaefoliella (Clemens)) plaga invasora, originaria de la Costa Este de los Estados Unidos de América

    Hemodynamic Tolerance of Virtual Reality Intradialysis Exercise Performed during the Last 30 Minutes versus the Beginning of the Hemodialysis Session

    [EN] Background: Exercise improves the physical function of people suffering from chronic kidney disease on hemodialysis (HD). Virtual reality is a new type of intradialysis exercise that has a positive impact on physical function. Intradialysis exercise is recommended during the first 2 h, but its safety in the last part of the dialysis session is unknown. Methods: This was a pilot sub-study of a clinical trial. Several hemodynamic control variables were recorded, including blood pressure, heart rate, and intradialytic hypotensive events. These variables were recorded during three different HD sessions, one HD session at rest, another HD session with exercise during the first two hours, and one HD session with exercise during the last 30 min of dialysis. The intradialysis virtual reality exercise was performed for a maximum of 30 min. Results: During exercise sessions, there was a significant increase in heart rate (6.65 (4.92, 8.39) bpm; p < 0.001) and systolic blood pressure (6.25 (0.04,12.47) mmHg; p < 0.05). There was no difference in hemodynamic control between the sessions with exercise during the first two hours and the sessions with exercise during the last 30 min. There was no association between intra-dialytic hypotensive events at rest (five events) or exercise at any point (two vs. one event(s), respectively).
