Didáctica del inglés en las diversas etapas del juego en Educación Infantil

La progresiva innovación de la educación actual está cada vez más a la orden del día. La escuela tradicional va dejando paso a modelos mucho más significativos y arriesgados de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Este trabajo va dedicado a resaltar la importancia de una educación basada en el sentido y disfrute de los niños, dejando al margen los modelos más desfasados y proyectando una manera distinta de enseñar el inglés en la Educación infantil. Se ha desarrollado una metodología de juegos en la que los niños pueden aprender una lengua extranjera divirtiéndose y convirtiéndose así directamente en algo significativo y que perdure en el tiempo. Factores asociados al estrés en pacientes ingresados en UCI: Revisión narrativa

Trabajo fin de grado en EnfermeríaIntroducción y objetivos: Los pacientes ingresados en unidades de cuidados intensivos (UCI) sufren estrés por el ambiente que les rodea. El objetivo principal del presente trabajo es identificar factores estresores en pacientes de UCI, conocer escalas de valoración de esos estresores y analizar los resultados de las intervenciones llevadas a cabo en estas unidades. Metodología: Revisión narrativa realizando búsquedas en 5 bases de datos (PUBMED, CINAHL, COCHRANE LIBRARY, CUIDEN Y SCIELO) entre diciembre de 2018 y enero y febrero de 2019. A partir de la búsqueda se obtuvieron 392 artículos y se seleccionaron 9 para su estudio. Resultados: Se incluyeron un total de 9 artículos: 2 revisiones narrativas, 1 estudio cuantitativo, 2 estudios prospectivos, 1 ensayo clínico no controlado, 2 estudios cualitativos y 1 estudio descriptivo. Conclusiones: El paso por una unidad de cuidados intensivos supone estar sometido a una serie de estresores ambientales, fisiológicos, sociales y emocionales. La humanización del cuidado en las unidades de críticos es fundamental para la recuperación de los pacientes ingresados. Para ello, es menester implantar escalas de valoración como el Environmental Stress Questionnaire, e intervenciones en la UCI relacionadas con el entorno del paciente y su bienestar durante la estancia en la unidadIntroduction and objectives: Patients admitted to intensive care units (ICU) suffer stress from the surrounding environment. The main objective of this work is to identify stressors in ICU patients, to know scales of assessment of these stressors and to analyze the results of the interventions carried out in these units. Methodology: Narrative searching review carried out searching 5 databases (PUBMED, CINAHL, COCHRANE LIBRARY, CUIDEN AND SCIELO) between December 2018 and January and February 2019. From the search 392 articles were obtained and 9 were selected for study. Results: A total of 9 articles were included: 2 narrative reviews, 1 quantitative study, 2 prospective studies, 1 uncontrolled clinical trial, 2 qualitative studies and 1 descriptive study. Conclusion: Admission to the intensive care unit implies being subjected to a series of environmental, physiological, social and emotional stressors. The humanization of care in critical units is fundamental for recovery of admitted patients. Arqueología y Texto: la reconstrucción histórica de la colonización de Islandia

The technological advances of the last decades in dating methods have modified the relationship between archaeology and medieval Icelandic texts that was commonplace until the middle of the twentieth century. The focus is no longer on comparing the information provided by medieval texts but on carrying out other types of research that have allowed a more accurate dating of the first settlement of Iceland, and have offered information on the exploitation of resources and environmental impact during the colonization of Iceland in the ninth century. In this article, I will analyse two fragments of the Landnámabók, the thirteenth-century book that describes the colonization of Iceland, with the aim of establishing a renewed dialogue between recent archaeological discoveries on the island and the medieval sources devoted to Iceland.Los avances tecnológicos en los métodos de datación de las últimas décadas han modificado la relación que se estableció entre la arqueología y los textos medievales islandeses hasta mediados del siglo XX: el foco ya no consiste en cotejar la información entre los textos medievales sino en realizar otro tipo de investigaciones que, si bien nos han permitido fechar el asentamiento de Islandia con mayor rigurosidad, también ofrecen información sobre la explotación de los recursos o el impacto medioambiental durante la colonización de Islandia en el siglo IX. Las características que observa Machado y Álvarez en los cantes flamencos sintonizan con los rasgos generales de la poesía y del arte en el romanticismo. Emotion at the end of life: Semantic annotation and key domains in a pilot study audiovisual corpus

This article focuses on emotion talk in English and the semantic annotation of emotions in a pilot study corpus about the end of life. It describes the process of compiling and annotating a corpus containing the transcript of the verbal component of audiovisual material regarding end-of-life care. The paper also aims to present a lexico-semantic analysis of emotion talk based on the combined use of two corpus processing tools: Wmatrix and Sketch Engine. The findings indicate that the limitations of semantic annotation can be overcome by concordance and collocational analysis. They also reveal that the lexis of emotion is commonly present at the end of life and show the main keywords and key concepts, the predominant semantic categories of emotion and the most frequent emotion words in the corpus. Este artículo consiste en el análisis y recuperación de una investigación del Prof. Jorge Comadrán Ruiz de finales de los cincuenta, que puede ser considerada pionera por su estudio de la élite mendocina de finales del XVIII en términos de redes sociales o relacionales. Las tres casas reinantes de Cuyo es, asimismo, una investigación que tiene la virtud de colaborar, varias décadas atrás, con la perspectiva social con que actualmente se indagan las instituciones jurídicopolíticas.This article analyzes and recovers a research done by Prof. Jorge Comadrán Ruiz in the late fifties. Las tres casas reinantes de Cuyo ("The three ruling houses of Cuyo") can be considered a pioneering work because it was a study of the elite of Mendoza in the late colonial period, in terms of social or relational networks. Simple Method for the Elimination of Polarization Noise in BOTDA Using Balanced Detection and Orthogonal Probe Sidebands

Polarization noise arises in Brillouin optical timedomain analysis due to the strong polarization sensitivity of stimulated Brillouin scattering. To avoid this noise, it turns out to be indispensable to perform some kind of polarization scrambling, either in the pump pulse, the probe signal or both. This is usually achieved using polarization scrambling/switching systems, which, being mechanical, tend to be not as robust as it would be desirable. In this paper, we propose a completely passive system,with no moving parts, to eliminate polarization noise in a BOTDA. It is based on the use of passive depolarization of the pump pulse together with balanced detection among orthogonally polarized Stokes and anti-Stokes bands of the probe signal.
