The purpose of this research are: 1) To Empirically test the effect of job shift on Driver of PT Transportasi Jakarta. 2) To Empirically test the effect of Emotional Intelligence on Driver of PT Transportasi Jakarta. 3) To Empirically test the effect of job shift together with Emotional Intelligence on Driver of PT Transportasi Jakarta. 4) The Analysis on this research are using the Explanatory and Descriptive analysis. Research conducted on 160 driver of PT Transportasi jakarta by using convenience sampling methods. The data was gathered by using questionnaire, and then be treated by using Microsoft Excell and SPSS. The research shows that: 1) The job shift have an impact on the job stress for the morning and the daylight shift’s driver. 2) Emotional intelligence have an impact to job stress both on the morning and daylight shift’s driver. 3) Job shift and Emotional intelligence all together have an impact to job stress of the morning and daylight shift’s driver.4)The level of job shift and emotional intelligence that affecting job stress of drivers of PT Transportasi Jakarta are 27.8% for the morning shift and 39.8% for the daylight shift. FLORENTINO’S FAITHFULNESS AWAITING HIS FIRST LOVE IN MIKE NEWELL’S LOVE IN THE TIME OF CHOLERA MOVIE (2007): A PSYCHOANALYTIC APPROACH

The study is to reveal how the faithfulness waiting for the first love of the major character, Florentino Ariza, influences his personality. The objective of the study is to analyze the movie based on the structural analysis and the psychoanalityc analysis. This study is a qualitative study. The object of the study is Mike Newell’s Love in the Time of Cholera. The data sources are divided into two, namely primary data source and secondary data source. In collecting the data, the researcher watches the movie and uses library research by collecting and selecting the appropriate data from many sources. The technique of the data analysis, is descriptive technique. After analyzing the movie of Mike Newell’s Love in the Time of Cholera, the researcher concluded that there are several aspects of psychoanalytic approach of the major character. The aspects consist of id, ego and superego. The basic needs of Florentino Ariza consist of need of women touch, need of love and need of supporting friends. The expropriation of Florentino Ariza consist of job and women. The conflict of the three elements of Florentino Ariza personality occurs, influencing his mental condition and causing his faithfulness. Faithfulness occurs when the goal of the id is denied by the existence of some expropriations. It can be concluded that the cause of faithfulness is the goal of the id which is denied by some expropriation of his first love

Sequence Analysis of the L Gene of Newcastle Disease Virus Strain AF2240

Newcastle disease is an avian disease which causes a devastating effect in commercial poultry production. The causative agent for this fatal disease is Newcastle disease virus (NDV) which contains six structural proteins; nucleocapsid (NP). phospho (P). matrix (M), fusion (F). haemagglutinin-neuraminidase (HN) and large (L) proteins. The L protein of NDV is important not only as a multifunctional enzyme but also as an RNA-dependent RNA polymerase. This protein may carry out all of the enzymatic steps in transcription such as initiation, elongation and cotranscriptional modification of RNAs including capping, methylation and polyadenylation. Therefore, this study was carried out to determine the L gene sequence and its predicted translated product, and to analyse the primary and secondary structures of the L protein of the local NDV strain AF2240. In order to identify the conserved functional domains and motifs within the L protein, the amino acid composition of the L protein of strain AF2240 was compared with those of other NDV strains

PELAKSANAAN PERJANJIAN KERJA BERSAMA ANTARA MANAJEMEN DAN SERIKAT PEKERJA HOTEL SAHID SURABAYA

Penelitian Skripsi ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Bagaimana pelaksanaan perjanjian kerja bersama tersebut (2) Hak dan Kewajiban para pihak (3) Sanksi atau tindakan yang diambil apabila salah satu pihak wanprestasi (4) Problemantika yang timbul dalam pelaksanaan perjanjian kerja bersama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan yuridis sosiologis. Dalam kehidupan ini manusia mempunyai kebutuhan yang sangat beraneka ragam, di dalam memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut manusia di tuntut untuk bekerja. Banyak berbagai usaha bermunculan dengan berbagai jenis bidang usaha antara lain bidang perdagangan dan jasa. Berbagai bidang usaha tersebut berkembang dengan mengikuti zaman dan di dukung oleh tenaga kerja yang terampil guna menghasilkan produk yang baik. Peran tenaga kerja di dalam memajukan perusahaan tidak dapat di pandang sebelah mata bagaimanapun tenaga kerja merupakan komponen terpenting dalam perusahaan. Para tenaga kerja tersebut pada umumnya terikat dengan perjanjian yang dibuat oleh perusahaan yang disebut dengan perjanjian kerja yang menjadi dasar hubungan industrial antara pekerja dengan perusahaan. Semakin pentingnya peran tenaga kerja bagi perkembangan sebuah perusahaan tentu hal ini akan di imbangi dengan peningkatan hak-hak pekerja yang harus dipenuhi oleh perusahaan agar tercipta iklim lingkungan kerja yang kondusif. Perjanjian kerja bersama di Hotel Sahid Surabaya dilaksanakan dengan musyawarah antara serikat pekerja yang mewakili pekerja dengan pihak manajemen yang mewakili perusahaan. Perjanjian tersebut dilaksanakan dengan menjunjung tinggi hak-hak masing-masing para pihak dan tanpa adanya tekanan dari manapun. Pihak perusahaan telah memenuhi apa yang menjadi hak pekerja sehingga dapat tercipta hubungan industrial yang selaras dan seimbang. Pelaksanaan perjanjian kerja bersama tersebut juga telah sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan baik ketentuan dalam Kitab Undang-undang Hukum Perdata ( KUHPdt) atau ketentuan di dalam Undang-undang No.13 Tahun 2003 tentang Ketenagakerjaan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut diharapkan pihak manajemen beserta pekerja bersama-sama menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif sehingga mengurangi kemungkinan adanya permasalahan yang dapat mengganggu kenyamanan dalam bekerja

MULTICULTURAL LITERATURE FOR A PEACE-BASED PROSE CLASS FOR EFL TEACHER EDUCATION

The recent phenomena of religious based violence and terrorism in Indonesia shows that the target recruits of fundamentalist groups and institution members are students from higher education (Saragih, 2011). English language classrooms are in fact potential as peace agency as the teachers  are in a strategic position to influence infrastructure, to invest in their social capital and to construct moral imagination (Anderson 1991, Birch 2009) as language is not a mere means of communication, but it is more a means to construct realities. In response to today’s need for a peaceful environment in Indonesia, English teachers must be aware and be proactive agents to promote a more dialogic atmosphere in their classrooms. This paper will discuss how Prose class with peace-based language learning perspective made use of Richard Oh’s Novel “The Pathfinders of Love.” The story is a meaningful material to encourage students’ self-awareness as a part of the diversed society and to promote dialogic relation among themselves. The paper will first provide a detailed description of the class participants and their different background, then outline  a brief analysis of the issues of conflict and peace in the story, and present an elaborate discussion of how the in-class and out-class activities promote a deeper understanding of what peace means in a multicultural environment. Keywords:      multicultural literature, peace-based language teaching, EFL teacher education

KANDUNGAN LOGAM BERAT KADMIUM (Cd) PADA IKAN NILA (Oreochromis niloticus), AIR, DAN SEDIMEN SERTA KUALITAS AIR DI ROWO JOMBOR, KLATEN. Faradina Kusumaningtyas Jurusan Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Sebelas Maret ABSTRAK Air merupakan komponen lingkungan hidup yang penting bagi kehidupan makhluk hidup. Rowo Jombor terletak di Desa Krakitan, Kecamatan Bayat, Kabupaten Klaten. Aktivitas manusia baik di dalam maupun di sekitar rowo menyebabkan banyak pencemaran, yang berasal dari limbah warung apung, limbah pertanian, limbah rumah tangga dan limbah perikanan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ; (1) Mengetahui kualitas air, (2) serta mengetahui konsentrasi logam berat Kadmium (Cd) yang terkandung dalam air, sedimen dan ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) di Rowo Jombor, Klaten. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode purposive sampling, pada 3 titik sampling pada area inlet, outlet, dan tengah. Parameter kualitas air dilakukan dengan mengukur pH, suhu, DO, BOD, dan COD. Pengukuran logam berat Cd pada sampel dilakukan dengan alat Flame Atomic Absorbtion Spectrophotometry (FAAS). Analisis data menggunakan Analisis Two Way Anova taraf uji pada level 0,05. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dibandingkan dengan : PPRI No. 82 Th. 2001 tentang Pengelolaan Kualitas Air dan Pengendalian Pencemaran Air ; Canadian Council of Ministers of The Environment Th. 2001; Keputusan Direktorat Jendral Pengawasan Obat dan Makanan (POM) No. 03725/B/VII/89. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata parameter suhu dan pH di stasiun inlet, tengah, dan outlet masih memenuhi baku mutu. Rata-rata pengukuran DO, BOD, dan COD pada stasiun inlet, tengah, dan outlet di perairan Rowo Jombor telah melebihi ambang baku mutu yang ditentukan. Kandungan logam berat Cd dalam air di perairan Rowo Jombor menunjukan berada di bawah baku mutu yang ditentukan, sedangkan konsentrasi logam Cd dalam sedimen dan daging ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) telah melebihi baku mutu yang telah ditentukan dan telah terjadi pencemaran. Indeks Kepuasan Masyarakat Terhadap Pelayanan Publik di Unit Pengelola Rumah Susun pada Dinas Perumahan dan Gedung Pemerintah Provinsi Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta

Public services are now things that can not be separated from society's lives. One of public service organized by Jakarta Capital City Government is the public service in Flats Management Unit on Department for Housing and Building of Jakarta Capital City Government. Through Flats Management Unit of Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Jakarta Capital City Government has implemented the public service to the society in the form of implementation of residential management or the use of flats. One of its objectives is the achievement of public satisfaction. The service activities provided by Flats Management Unit of Special Capital Region of Jakarta will be assessed based on the level of public satisfaction. Therefore, through this study, author wanted to measure and know the Index of Public Satisfaction of Flats Management Unit of Special Capital Region of Jakarta based on the Regulation of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform No. 16 of 2014 about the Guidelines of Public Satisfaction Surveys on Public Service Delivery with reference to 9 (nine) indicators used to measure public satisfaction index. Researcher used descriptive quantitative method by spreading questionnaires to 150 respondents. From the result of data analysis, the researcher got the Cumulative Value of Public Satisfaction Index of 75.15 therefore the performance of the Flats Management Unit of Special Capital Region of Jakarta can be categorized as well. Currently, there are still deficiencies in the implementation of flats service at Flats Management Unit of Special Capital Region of Jakarta in terms of service procedures and infrastructure facilities. Recommendations that can be given is such as Flats Management Unit of Special Capital Region of Jakarta can improve the shortcomings based on complaints submitted by the society, and can maintain or expected to improve the quality of existing services in order to achieve the objectives of the public services implementation

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk: (1) Mengetahui makna mekanisme pengawasan bagi para wanita tuna susila di Panti Karya Wanita “Wanita Utama” Surakarta. (2) Mengetahui bentuk-bentuk mekanisme pengawasan dalam rehabilitasi wanita tuna susila di Panti Karya Wanita “Wanita Utama” Surakarta. (3) Mengetahui dampak mekanisme pengawasan bagi para wanita tuna susila di Panti Karya Wanita “Wanita Utama” Surakarta. Sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian, maka penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus terpancang tunggal. Teknik cuplikan yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara semiterstruktur/mendalam, observasi/pengamatan langsung, arsip dan dokumen. Validitas data yang digunakan adalah dengan trianggulasi data (sumber) dan trianggulasi metode. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data model interaktif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang telah dilaksanakan, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa makna mekanisme pengawasan bagi para wanita tuna susila merupakan tindakan penjagaan yang ketat, pembatasan aktivitas, yang membuat para kelayan seperti diisolasi, dikurung, dipantau segala tindak tanduknya, serta dikontrol agar mereka tetap berada di lingkungan panti, dan dapat mengikuti apa yang menjadi peraturan panti. Sehingga pada akhirnya mereka dapat berkembang sesuai dengan tujuan yang ditetapkan oleh pihak panti. Bentuk mekanisme pengawasan ada empat, antara lain; (1) Adanya hierarkhi pengawasan, (2) adanya pengisolasian, (3) adanya peraturan dan tata tertib yang berlaku, (4) adanya internalisasi pengawasan. Sedangkan dampak dari mekanisme pengawasan tersebut antara lain memunculkan kepatuhan dan disiplin dalam diri kelayan, namun kepatuhan dan disiplin tersebut bukan karena kesadaran, tetapi karena dominasi kekuasaan oleh pengawas dan panti itu sendiri. Sehingga yang dihasilkan dari mekanisme pengawasan tersebut tidak lain hanyalah disiplin tubuh. Melalui pendisiplinan, panti dapat menjadi alat kontrol bagi pemerintah untuk membentuk pandangan mengenai apa yang menyimpang dari nilai dan norma, sehingga mereka akan menyesuaikan diri terhadap nilai dan norma tersebut

PENGARUH BEBAN PAJAK TANGGUHAN DAN PERENCANAAN PAJAK TERHADAP MANAJEMEN LABA PADA PERUSAHAAN MAUFAKTUR YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI (BURSA EFEK INDONESIA)

This study aims to analyze Effect of Deferred Tax Expense and Tax Planning Of Profit Management of Manufacturing Listed on the BEI (Indonesia Stock Exchange). This research uses quantitative methods and use secondary data as a source of data. The sampling technique used with purposive sampling method. Where a population of 182 companies, while the sample as many as 41 companies manufacturing listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results show that deferred tax expensed does not significant effect on earnings management and tax planning has a significanteffect on earnings management
