Analysis of the "Water Element, s.r.o." by the Selective Methods

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá analýzou obchodnej spoločnosti Water Element, s.r.o. . Hlavným cieľom práce je na základe rozboru spoločnosti navrhnúť vhodné riešenie na zlepšenie jej situácie na trhu a zvýšiť efektivitu. Medzi použité analýzy sa radí: analýza vonkajšieho a vnútorného prostredia, SLEPTE analýza, Fundamentálna analýza, finančná analýzy, Potrov model a na záver analýza SWOT. Práca najprv obsahuje teoretické východiská, kde sú uvedené charakteristiky jednotlivých analýz, na ktoré nadväzuje praktická časť a výsledkom diplomovej práce sú odporúčania, ktoré zlepšia celkovú situáciu spoločnosti Water Element.This Master's thesis is focused on the analysis of the trading company Water Element ltd. The aim of my thesis is to analyze this company and propose appropriate solution for improving company's market situation and company's efficiency. Analysis used in this thesis are internal and external environment analysis, SLEPTE analysis, fundamental and financial analysis, Porter's model and finally SWOT analysis. Thesis begins with theoretical section, where the applied analysis are described. This section is followed by practical part and the thesis results are proposals to improve the overall situation of trading company Water Element ltd.

Ovlivňuje přístup k literatuře v dětství kongnitivní schopnosti člověka v seniorském věku?

This thesis examines whether growing up surrounded by books has an impact on cognitive skills later in life. Data from SHARE - Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe are used. The variable 'books when ten' is used to determine its effect on variable 'numeracy'. We used also other variables regarding the respondent's age, gender, mental health or family situation. The results of this study show that those who were surrounded by a higher number of books as children perform better at a specific task designed to test cognitive ability when presented with it at an age of over 50 years. The results were obtained using logit model. The finding that access to books can slow down cognitive decline later in life can be used to argue for greater focus on reading and availability of books in schools as well as greater access to books through public libraries, or act as a hint for parents aiming to give their children the greatest possible introduction to life. Jsou použita data z průzkumu SHARE - Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe. Proměnná "knihy v deseti letech" je použita ke zjištění jejího vlivu na proměnnou "početní dovednosti". Použili jsme také další proměnné týkající se věku, pohlaví, duševního zdraví nebo rodinné situace respondenta. Výsledky této studie ukazují, že ti, kteří byli v dětství obklopeni větším počtem knih, dosahují lepších výsledků ve specifickém úkolu určeném k testování kognitivních schopností, když je jim předložen ve věku nad 50 let. Výsledky byly získány pomocí logistické regrese. Zjištění, že přístup ke knihám může zpomalit pokles kognitivních schopností v pozdějším věku, lze využít jako argument pro větší důraz na četbu a dostupnost knih ve školách i pro větší přístup ke knihám prostřednictvím veřejných knihoven nebo může sloužit jako nápověda pro rodiče, jejichž cílem je poskytnout svým dětem co nejlepší vstup do života. Eukaryotní Nav jsou tvořeny jedním pseudo-homotetramerickým polypeptidem, ve kterém se čtyřikrát opakuje šest transmembránových segmentů (S1-S6). Eukaryotic Navs are pseudo homotetrameric polypeptides, comprising four repeats of six transmembrane segments (S1-S6), where S1 to S4 form the voltage-sensing domain and S5 and S6 create the pore domain with the selectivity filter on the extracellular site. Whereas the ion selectivity of the voltage-gated potassium channels has been elucidated on the molecular level in great detail, little is known about this for the voltage-gated sodium channels. To allow future studies of the selectivity filter of Nav by the means of 2D IR spectroscopy, a technique able to provide bond-specific structural information on the picosecond to millisecond time scales, large quantities of the purified channel are needed. Import 02/11/2016Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat konkurenceschopnost podniku MARLENKA international, s.r.o. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do šesti hlavních částí. V první kapitole je úvod, druhá kapitola se zabývá teoretickými východisky konkurenceschopnosti, kde se blíže specifikují základní pojmy a metody pro hodnocení výkonnosti podniku. Ve třetí části je charakteristika vybraného podniku, konktrétně podniku MARLENKA international, s.r.o. Ve čtvrté kapitole jsou aplikovány metody, které analyzují prostředí, konkrétně se jedná o analýzu PESTLE, metodu Balanced Scorecard a SWOT analýzu. Pátá kapitola zahrnuje hodnocení, návrhy a doporučení. Poslední kapitola je závěr. Hlavním zjištěním bylo, že společnost neustále inovuje a expanduje do zahraničí. V tuzemsku je medový dort MARLENKA bezkonkurenční, avšak díky slabé podpoře marketingu zde klesají meziroční příjmy tržeb. Proto by se společnost měla zaměřit na zvýšení prodeje v ČR, neboť třetina produkce putuje právě zde.The thesis aims are to analyse the competitiveness of the company MARLENKA international, s.r.o. The thesis is divided into six main parts. The first chapter is an introduction, the second chapter deals with the theoretical basis of the competitiveness, which further specify the basic concepts and methods for an evaluation of company performance. Characteristics of the selected company MARLENKA international, s.r.o. is described in the third part. In the fourth chapter there are methods which are applied to analyse the environment, namely the PESTLE analysis, the Balanced Scorecard and SWOT analysis. The evaluation, proposals and recommendations are included in the fifth chapter. The last chapter is the conclusion. The main finding is that the company is constantly innovating and expanding abroad. The honey cake MARLENKA on the Czech market is unbeatable nevertheless due to weak marketing support the annual sales revenue is declining. Company Marketing Strategy

Cílem této diplomové práce je navrhnout vhodnou marketingovou strategii projektové činnosti společnosti MBQ-Mikulov a.s. na základě výsledků analýz podnikového okolí a vlastního marketingového průzkumu. Práce se skládá ze tří hlavních částí. První část práce je věnována teoretickým poznatkům. Jsou zde definovány základní pojmy z oblasti marketingu. Konkrétně se jedná o marketing, marketingovou strategii, marketingový mix, komunikační mix, situační analýzu a marketingový výzkum. V následující praktické části je představena společnost MBQ-Mikulov a poté jsou provedeny analýzy podnikového okolí. Práce je ukončena návrhovou částí. V návrhové části je na základě výsledků analýz a marketingového průzkumu navržena vhodná marketingová strategie pro projekční činnost společnosti.The main objective of this master thesis is to design an appropriate marketing strategy of designing activity of MBQ-Mikulov Plc. based on results of marketing environment analyzes and my own marketing research. The thesis consists of three main parts. The first part of the thesis is devoted to theoretical findings. Basic terms from marketing field are defined here. Concretely it is marketing, marketing strategy, marketing mix, communication mix, situation analysis and marketing research. In the following practical part MBQ-Mikulov Company is introduced and then marketing environment analyzes are conducted. The thesis is finished with a proposal part. In the proposal part the appropriate marketing strategy of design activity is designed here based on results of analyzes and the marketing research.

Using the Methods of Analysis Break-even Point in Costs Management in Company

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na stanovení bodu zvratu ve firmě, na analýzu nákladů a nalezení cest na jejich snížení. Specifikuje náklady, tržby z prodeje a bod zvratu. V praktické části jsou tyto poznatky aplikovány do prostředí vybrané firmy a zhodnoceny. V závěrečné části jsou následně popsány návrhy pro snížení nákladových položek ve firmě.This bachelor work is focused on determination company‘s break even point, cost analysis and to find way to decrease these costs. It specifies the costs, incomes and the break even point. These evidences are applied on the enviroment of the chosen company and then evaluated in the practical part. The suggestions for decreasing of the cost items are subscribed in the conclusion of this work.

A broadband multi-distance approach to measure tissue oxygen saturation with continuous wave near-infrared spectroscopy

Brain tissue oxygen saturation, StO2, measured with near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) is of great clinical interest as it quantifies the balance between cerebral oxygen supply and demand. Some brain oximeters are based on spatially resolved spectroscopy (SRS), where NIRS data is collected at multiple distances from the light source to estimate a slope of light attenuation against distance. Other use a broadband approach which utilizes derivatives of the absorption spectra to estimate StO2, such as broadband fitting (BF). We describe a novel algorithm, broadband spatially resolved spectroscopy (BB-SRS), for estimating StO2. It is based on comparing the measured slope to a model of the attenuation slope, which depends on the optical properties of tissue. Fitting this model with a least squares fitting procedure recovers parameters describing absorption and scattering; the concentrations of oxy- and deoxy-haemoglobin and hence StO2 and the scattering parameters β and α describing the exponential dependence of scattering on wavelength. To demonstrate BB-SRS, a broadband spectrum (700 - 1000 nm, step size 2 nm) was simulated in NIRFAST and was analysed with BB-SRS, SRS and BF. The developed BB-SRS algorithm recovered StO2 with a relative error of -9%; the concentration of deoxyhaemoglobin with a relative error of +4% , oxyhaemoglobin -10%. The scattering parameters β and α were recovered with a relative error of -30% and -2%, respectively. Among the three algorithms, BB-SRS performed with the best relative error
