Analyze of tobacco production on family farm "Andrej Mucak" in 2018

Duhan (Nicotiana tabacum L.) biljka je koja služi za industrijsku preradu, a namijenjena je uživanju pušenjem, šmrkanjem ili žvakanjem. Proizvodnja duhana na OPG-u „Andrej Mucak“, sa sjedištem u Virovitici, jedna je od najvažnijih poljoprivrednih grana kojim se gospodarstvo bavi. Uzgaja se na 12 hektara površine s prosječnim prinosom suhog lista od 2,0 t/ha. Proizvodnja duhana ima određene specifičnosti, a jedna od njih je i povećana potreba ljudske radne snage što u konačnici povećava troškove same proizvodnje, ali omogućava sezonsko zapošljavanje radnika. Agroekološki uvjeti u 2018. godini bili su povoljni za proizvodnju duhana. Duhan je posijan u hidropon 16.3., a u polje presađen 26.5.2018. Berba je počela 9.7., a završila 8.10.2018. Prosječna otkupna cijena duhana iznosila je 11,72 kn/kg.Tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) is a herb which is used for industrial processing and is intended for use by smoking, choking or chewing. Tobacco production has specific characteristics, one of them is increased need for human labor, which ultimately increases the costs of production, but enables seasonal employment for workers. Agroecolgical conditions in 2018 were favourable for tobacco production. Tobacco was sown in the hydropon on March 16, and transplanted in the field on May 26, 2018. The harvest began on 9 July and ended on October 8, 2018. The average purchase price of tobacco was 11.72 kn/kg

EDUCATION OF EXERCISERS IN FITNESS CENTER ABOUT THE POSSIBLE INJURIES AND HARMFULNESS OF SUBSTANCES USED FOR INCREASE OF PHYSICAL CAPACITIES

Vježbanje u teretanama i fitness centrima se danas smatra jednom od najpopularnijih aktivnosti rekreacije te omogućava bavljenjem tjelesnom aktivnošću kako u rekreativnom smislu tako i u profesionalnom smjeru. Osim toga, smatra je i oblikom sportske aktivnosti, a time, kao i u svakom sportu, poznate su ozljede u teretanama. Zbog toga neizmjerno je važno spomenuti ulogu fizioterapeuta u teretanama, kako bi se ozljeđivanje svelo na minimum. Osim ozljeda, vježbači u teretanama redovito posežu za raznoraznim suplementima kako bi ubrzali postizanje određenog cilja, a to može dovesti i do različitih negativnih posljedica na organizam. Ovim istraživanjem se htjelo uvidjeti koliko je gore navedene problematika izražena među vježbačima u teretanama na području Rijeke. Cilj samog istraživanje je bio uvidjeti kolika je educiranost vježbača u teretanama o mogućim ozljedama tijekom treninga te o mogućoj štetnosti od korištenja nekih supstanci. Podatci su prikupljeni putem ankete dizajnirane za isključivo ovo istraživanje, a sastojala se od 33 pitanja. Ukupno je sudjelovalo 64 ispitanika (Nž=29, Nm=35). Istraživanjem je pokazano da ne postoji statistički značajna razlika u korištenju dodataka prehrana između spolova (p=0,06), kao ni između dobnih skupina (p=0,14). Međutim, potvrđuje se pretpostavka da je jedan od najčešćih uzroka ozljeđivanja nepravilna tehnika izvođenja vježbe (25%). Za razliku od drugih studija, gore navedeni ispitanici ne navode značajnije nuspojave korištenjem dodataka prehrani (10%). Istraživanjem se može zaključiti da ima poprilične podudarnosti u rezultatima s ostalim studijama, te da je korištenje dodataka prehrani visoka u riječkim teretanama. Uz to, stopa ozljeđivanja predstavlja najveći problem, te bi se trebalo poraditi na edukaciji samih vježbača, ali i povećati broj stručnih i profesionalnih osoba u teretanama.Exercise in gyms and fitness centers is the most popular recreational activity that enables you to take physical activity both recreationally and professionally. Additionally, it is considered as sport activity, so, as well as every sport, injuries are very often. That is why it is immensely important to mention the role of physiotherapist in gyms, in order to minimize injury. In addition, gym users regularly attend to use various nutritious and dietary supplements to accelerate the achievement of a specific goal, and this can lead to negative consequences for the body. The purpose of this research was to find out how many of the above mentioned problems were expressed among gym users in the area of Rijeka. The aim of the study was to find out awareness about the possible injuries during the training and about the potential harmfulness of using some substances among gym users. The data were collected through a survey designed exclusively for this research and consisted of 33 questions. The total number of participants was 64 (Nf = 29, Nm = 35). The study showed that there was no statistically significant difference in the use of dietary supplements among sexes (p = 0.06), or between age groups (p = 0.14). However, it is confirmed that one of the most common causes of injury is the improper exercise technique (25%). Unlike other studies, the above-mentioned exam did not indicate any significant side effects using dietary supplements (10%). The research can be concluded that there is a large degree of correlation in results with other studies, and the usage of dietary supplements is high in Rijeka. Additionally, the rate of injury is the biggest problem, and the education of the practitioners could be the key in minimizing injury, and work on increasing the number of professional persons in the gym

Umijeće ratovanja, ratna vještina ili znanje ratovanja su sinonimi samo su rabljani u različitim društvenim epohama razvoja ljudske civilizacije, a temeljna razlika je u brzini protoka i količini informacija kojima vojskovođe upravljaju odnosno upravljanje znanjima kojima njihove vojske raspolažu. Zbog jednostavnosti hijerarhije vojne organizacije DIKW piramida vrlo lako može se „spojiti” sa zapovjednom hijerarhijom i razinama vojnoga znanja (taktičke, operativne, strategijske i razine. Kako svaka znanost ima svoja načela i pravila vojno znanje, kao specifično i dijelom štićeno znanje, nastaje procesom objedinjavanja i primjene znanja iz više znanstvenih područja u jedno multidisciplinarno znanje. U Republici Hrvatskoj vojne znanosti nisu legalizirane kao posebna grana društvenih znanosti. The translation of proper names in the fairytales of Clemens Brentano

Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit thematisiert das Übersetzen von Eigennamen in den Märchen von Clemens Brentano, einem besonderen, interessanten und anerkannten Vertreter der Romantik. Die Literaturepoche Romantik dient dabei als Hintergrund für Brentanos Schaffen und ist für diese Arbeit genauso bedeutsam wie seine Werke selbst, wie es eben immer der Fall in der Literatur ist, der Schriftsteller und seine Werke sind eng mit der jeweiligen Epoche verbunden und stellen somit eine symbolische Symbiose dar. Zu Beginn der Arbeit wird der Leser in die Epoche Romantik eingeführt und mit ihrer speziefischen Stimmung vertraut gemacht, wobei zuerst die Romantik als eine märchenfreundliche Epoche dargestellt wird und in der Fortsetzung ihre wichtige Rolle für die übersetzeriche Tätigkeit erläutert wird. Sowohl, der literarische als auch der übersetzerische Aspekt, sind eng mit dem Thema der Diplomarbeit gebunden. Es werden die Umstände und Voraussetzungen, unter denen Brentano seine Werke geschaffen hat, vorgestellt. Es wird die Geschichte, die hinter seinen Geschichten steht, erzählt. Daraufhin folgen ausgewählte Märchen Brentanos, es werden „Italienische Märchen“ bearbeitet. Analysiert werden dabei Brentanos charakteristischer Stil und Form, wobei dieser Teil der Arbeit reich an Zitaten ist. Ebenso werden bei der Analyse der Eigennamen ausgewählte Zitate dem Leser die Märchenstimmung nahebringen. Weiter in der Arbeit werden die Übersetzungsstrategien vorgestellt und die Übersetzungsmöglichkeiten der ausgewählten Eigennamen beschrieben. Die Eigennamen mit der jeweiligen Lösung und Strategie sind in Tabellen eingeordnet, wobei sich der Kontext zu jedem Namen in einer separaten Tabelle, die am Ende folgt, befindet. Diese separate Tabelle bietet dem Leser eine tiefere Einsicht in Brentanos Werk, wobei er sich ein Bild um den Eigennamen malen kann

Determination of changes in citochrom C gene expression in cells exposed to N-9 sulphonylurea derivatives

Uvod: Tumori su veliki javnozdravstveni problem. Iz dana u dan raste rezistencija na lijekove te time nameće potrebu za sintezom novih terapeutskih pristupa. Novosintetizirani derivati N-9 sulfonilureje pokazuju veliki protutumorski potencijal. Ciljevi istraživanja: Ispitati učinke novosintetiziranih derivata N-9-sulfonilureje (R-191 i D7-23) na HeLa i K562 stanicama u uvjetima in vitro. Materijali i metode: Novosintetizirani derivati N-9-sulfonilurea sintetizirani su na Zavodu za organsku kemiju i biokemiju u Zagrebu na Institutu Ruđera Boškovića. U istraživanju su korišteni R-191 i D7-23 spojevi koji su se pokazali kao najučinkovitiji. Komercijalne stanice HeLa (2D i 3D) i K562 uzgajane su u bočicama za uzgoj kulture stanica u CO2 inkubatoru na 37°C. Nakon uzgoja stanice su odvojene tripsinom te je izolirana RNA pomoću RNeasy Mini Kit (50). Za potrebe istraživanja koristili smo PrimeScript First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit za prepisivanje RNA u cDNA te QuantStudio5 RT-PCR za analizu genske ekspresije. Rezultati: R-191 derivat pri koncentraciji od 5x10-6 M potiče povećanu ekspresiju gena citokroma c u HeLa stanicama uzgojenim u monosloju i 3D kulturi. U K562 staničnoj liniji nije zabilježen učinak R-191 derivata na ekspresiju gena citokroma c. D7-23 derivat pokazuje nasuprotne učinke u 2D i 3D HeLa staničnoj kulturi te istovremeno potiče ekspresiju citokroma c u K562 stanicama. Zaključak: Dokazano je da ispitivani derivati mijenjaju razinu ekspresije gena citokroma c pod utjecajem derivata N-9-sulfoniureje.Introduction: Tumors are a major public health problem. The resistence to pharmaceuticals increases day after day and that imposes the need for the synthesis of the new ones. The newly synthesized N-9 sulfonyurea derivatives have a strong anti-inflammatory potential. The aims of the study: To investigate the effects of the newly synthesized N-9 sulfonylurea (R-191 and D7-23) derivatives on HeLa and K562 cells in in vitro conditions. Materials and methods: The newly synthesized N-9-sulfonylurea derivatives have been synthesized at the Department of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry in Zagreb, at the Ruđer Bošković Institute. The R-191 and D7-23 compounds, used in the study, have manifested themselves as the most specific. The commercial HeLa (2D and 3D) and K562 cells have been cultivated in the bottles for the cultivation in a CO2 incubator at 37° C. After having been cultivated, the cells have been separated by the trypsin and the RNA has been isolated by RNeasy Mini Kit (50). For the purposes of this research, we have used PrimeScript First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit for the RNA transcription in the cDNA and QuantStudio 5 RT-PCR for the gene expression analysis. Results: The R-191 derivative at a concentration of 5x10-6 M promotes gene expression of cytochrome c in the HeLa cells, grown in the monolayer and in 3D cell cultures. The R-191 derivative has no effect on the gene expression at the K562 cell line. The D7-23 derivative shows opposite effects in 2D and 3D culture of the HeLa cells and at the same time stimulates expression of cytochrome c in the K562 cells. Conclusion: It has been proved that the studied derivatives change the level of the cytochrome c gene expression under the influence of the N-9 sulfonylurea derivative
