    Fenomena radikalisme dan intoleransi kini menyebar di masyarakat dan institusi pendidikan. Moderasi beragama merupakan keseimbangan antara pemahahaman dan pengamalan agama, pemahamn teks dan konteks, seimbang dan tidak berlebihan. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi makna moderasi beragama perpektif Al Qur’an dan Hadits dan implementasinya pada lembaga pendidikan Islam (LPI). Al-Qur’an dan Hadits memerintahkan umat Islam untuk menjadi umat moderat (ummatan wasathan), umat yang adil, seimbang dalam beragama dan beramal. Dalam rangka menciptakan generasi muda yang toleran dan terhindar dari radikalisme, maka diperlukan internalisasi nilai-nilai moderasi pada materi Pendidikan Agama Islam, baik di lembaga pendidikan fomal, informal maupun non formal. Hal ini tentu melibatkan orang tua, masyarakat, dan pemerintah secara bersama-sama. Nilai-nilai kedamaian, kasih sayang, penghargaan adalah di antara nilai yang penting diinternalisasikan dalam semua jenis dan jalur pendidika

    A new tuning method for two-degree-of-freedom internal model control under parametric uncertainty

    The purpose of controller tuning is to determine the parameters of controller in order to ensure the time response of close-loop control system at the desired performance. Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) controller has been used in the industry since 1940’s for this purpose. However, the PID controller can not completely compensate for the complexity of industrial processes and desired high product quality due to interactions, nonlinearities, and time delay of the process variables. Internal model control (IMC) has been developed to overcome the deficiencies of the PID. Unfortunately, IMC yields very good performance for set point tracking, but gives sluggish response for disturbance rejection problem. The present study has developed a controller for disturbance rejection based on feedback / feedforward IMC structure. The controller is then called as feedback 2DOF-IMC. A new tuning method has been proposed for the controller. The proposed tuning method consists of three steps: Firstly, determine the worst case of the model uncertainty. Secondly, specify the parameter of set point controller using maximum peak (Mp) criteria. And thirdly, obtain the parameter of the disturbance rejection controller using gain margin (GM) criteria. The proposed method is called Mp-GM tuning method. The effectiveness of the proposed feedback 2DOF-IMC and Mp-GM tuning method has evaluated and compared with standard 2DOF-IMC using IMCTUNE and Kaya 2DOF-IMC using Mp-GM tuning as bench mark. The evaluation and comparison are investigated through simulation and implementation on a number of first order plus dead time (FOPDT) and higher order processes. The FOPDT process tested include processes with controllability ratio in the range 0.7 to 2.5. The higher processes include second order with underdamped and third order with nonminimum phase processes. Although the two of higher order process are considered difficult processes, the proposed feedback 2DOF-IMC and Mp-GM tuning method were able to obtain the optimal controller even under process uncertainties. The proposed feedback 2DOF-IMC and the proposed Mp-GM tuning are also successfully implemented in real-time on a laboratory scale air heater pilot plant. The process model is divided into two regions. The time responses show that the proposed feedback 2DOF-IMC and the proposed Mp- GM tuning gave faster set point tracking and disturbance rejection responses than 1DOF-IMC and standard 2DOF-IMC in both regions

    Safety is a strategy to reduce the risk of major process accidents. The principle of a safety is to reduce the risk of fails and can be applied easily as the inherent safety. the research which assesses the safety and appeared have a lot of new methods. This study tried to summarize some of the existing methods. The study focused on the case of making methyl methacrylate (MMA) with acetone cyanohydrin (ACH). The processing manufacturing production is divided into four stages or routes. Which are production of hydrogen cyanide (HCN), acetone cyanohydrin (ACH), HMPSA/HMPSE and methyl methacrylate (MMA). Safety assessment is a stages with standardization. Standardization aims to ease look at the risk level of a route. Assessment standardization it produces characteristic safety assessment of the risk level. The level of these characteristics assess any level of danger when the process conditions of a factory. Each production process of the plant there are several production steps. The steps in the production process including preparation, reaction, separation and purification. Of these processes often occur a failure. Then table the characteristics of this suggested to simplify petrified assess how the level of security in the process. In research took a case of making MMA with ACH. The process of making this MMA has four step process HCN, ACH, HMPSA / HMPSE and MMA.     Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pengelolaan, mengetahui partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan Hutan Mangrove Center Kariangau Graha Indah Balikpapan Jenis penelitian ini bersifat diskriptif. Pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi dan membagikan kuesioner kepada Masyarakat dan analisis datanya menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap lokasi Hutan Mangrove adalah 74,32%. pemahaman masyarakat terhadap pemanfaatan hutan mangrove 72.97%. Tingkat keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan hutan mangrove 59,46 %. Jenis keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan hutan mangrove 56.76%. Mangrove Center Kariangau Graha Indah Balikpapan  menginginkan agar dalam pengelolaan yaitu masyarakat yang terlibat langsung dalam memanfaatkan sumberdaya hutan mangrove, aparat pemerintah, pengusaha dan lembaga swadaya masyarakat. untuk pengelolaan lingkungan oleh masyarakat Partisipasi tingkat keterlibatan dan jenis keterlibatan yang diinginkan oleh masyarakat pesisir di Mangrove Center Kariangau di Graha Indah adalah keterlibatan langsung mereka dalam pengelolaan hutan mangrove mulai dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pemeliharaan dan pengawasan / pelestarian

    Maximum Peak-Gain Margin 2DOF-IMC Tuning for a 2DOF-PID Filter Set Point Controller Under Parametric Uncertainty

    The specification of controller setting for a standard controller typically requires a trade-off between set point tracking and disturbance rejection. For this reason two simple strategies can be used to adjust the set point and disturbance responses independently. These strategies are referred to as controllers with two degree of freedom. Unfortunately, the tuning parameters in the case of model uncertainty at two degree of freedom structure controller is difficult to obtain. Juwari et al (2013) has introduced maximum peak-gain margin (Mp-GM) tuning method to obtain setting parameter of two degree of freedom structure controller based on model uncertainty. This tuning method are able to obtain the good controller parameter even under processes uncertainties on standard two degree of freedom (was abbreviated as 2DOF) IMC. This research will be conducted on development maximum peak-gain margin tuning method for a two degree of freedom PID filter set point structure controller. The simulation results show that the maximum peak gain margin tuning method can give a good target set point tracking, disturbance rejection and robustness in system a 2DOF-PID filter set point controller

    Heat Exchanger Network Optimization in A Natural Gas Dehydration Unit

    A dehydration unit using triethylene glycol absorption is a common process in natural gas processing. In its regeneration section, the regenerated lean glycol needs to be cooled before entering the glycol absorber, while the rich glycol is to be preheated before entering the regenerator. This is a good candidate for heat exchanger network (HEN) optimization. In this work, the HEN was revisited using pinch analysis (PA) and mathematical programming (MP) using superstructure. The optimized networks were evaluated using simplified total annual cost (TAC). The PA method using small Tmin (minimum temperature approach) led to the configuration of three exchangers, a heater and a cooler, with minimized utilities. At larger Tmin, the configuration became into two exchangers, two heaters, and a cooler. The minimum calculated TAC is 60,351/yearatTmin=12.5oC.Furthermore,itwasrevealedthatoneheaterandoneexchangerweretwosmall.Therefore,theywereomitted,andtheheatloadwereredistributedtothenetwork.ThecalculatedTACbecame60,351/year at Tmin = 12.5oC. Furthermore, it was revealed that one heater and one exchanger were two small. Therefore, they were omitted, and the heat load were redistributed to the network. The calculated TAC became 59,224/year. The superstructure approach resulted in two exchangers, a heater, and a cooler; with a calculated minimum TAC of $57,597/year. The two approaches have resulted in very similar minimized TAC

    Mp Tuning for Internal Model Control 2x2 Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) System

    IMC is a type of model based control that compensates time delay in the process. The controller tuning is quite simple in case of no-error in the model, otherwise it will be a difficult matter. Mp tuning has been considered a tuning for uncertain processes. To extend  IMC to MIMO system, a new method  based on Maximum Peak (Mp) is developed . The present study proposes Maximum Peak  (Mp) tuning for IMC in 2x2  multi input and multi output (MIMO) system. Three particular 2x2 model of distillation colomn are being studied, the best configuration is analyzed by Relative Gain Array (RGA) and Average Dynamic Gain Array (ADGA) method. The tuning method  consists of two main steps: Firstly, determine the worst case of the model uncertainty. Secondly, specify the parameter of set point controller using maximum peak (Mp) criteria.  The effectiveness of Mp tuning for IMC in MIMO system  is  evaluated and compared to Biggest Log Modulus Tuning (BLT) for MIMO-PI Controller, Skogestad Tuning, and Rivera Tuning. Evaluation and comparison  have been done through simulation and the results are satisying
