Razón neutrófilo linfocito como factor predictor de perforación apendicular en pacientes con apendicitis aguda en el hospital regional de Trujillo

Determinar si la razón neutrófilo linfocito es un factor predictor de perforación apendicular en pacientes con apendicitis aguda en el Hospital Regional de Trujillo. Material y métodos: Estudio de pruebas diagnósticas, retrospectivo, observacional, en 230 pacientes con apendicitis aguda. Se calcularon la sensibilidad, especificidad, valor predictivo positivo, negativo. Se aplicó el test de chi cuadrado y se determinó el área bajo la curva para razón neutrófilo linfocito. Resultados: No se apreciaron diferencias significativas en relación a las variables edad, genero, procedencia, diabetes mellitus ni hipertensión arterial entre los pacientes con apendicitis aguda perforada o no perforada (p<0.05).La sensibilidad, especificidad, valor predictivo positivo, negativo de la razón neutrófilo linfocito en la predicción de perforación en apendicitis aguda fue de 89%; 52%; 48%; 91%. El mejor punto de corte de la razón neutrófilo linfocito en la predicción de perforación en apendicitis aguda fue de 7,7. La exactitud pronostica de la razón neutrófilo linfocito en la predicción de perforación en apendicitis aguda fue de 75%. Conclusiones: La razón neutrófilo linfocito es un factor predictor de perforación apendicular en pacientes con apendicitis aguda en el Hospital Regional de Trujillo.To determine if the lymphocyte neutrophil ratio is a predictor of appendicular perforation in patients with acute appendicitis at the Regional Hospital of Trujillo. Material and methods: Retrospective, observational, diagnostic study of 230 patients with acute appendicitis. We calculated the sensitivity, specificity, and positive predictive value, negative. The chi square test was applied and the area under the curve was determined for neutrophil lymphocyte ratio. Results: There were no significant differences in age, gender, origin, diabetes mellitus or arterial hypertension among patients with acute perforated or unperforated appendicitis (p <0.05). The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative the neutrophil lymphocyte ratio in the prediction of perforation in acute appendicitis was 89%; 52%; 48%; 91%. The best cut-off point of the neutrophil lymphocyte ratio in the prediction of perforation in acute appendicitis was 7,7. The predictive accuracy of the neutrophil lymphocyte ratio in the prediction of perforation in acute appendicitis was 75%. Conclusions: The lymphocyte neutrophil ratio is a predictor of appendicular perforation in patients with acute appendicitis at the Regional Hospital of Trujillo

Outsourcing and the possible illegal supply of employees in the field of digital platforms

En el ámbito de las denominadas plataformas digitales, un nuevo episodio susceptible de generar un cierto debate y conflictividad jurídico-laboral está ya en ciernes y trae causa en que la Inspección de Trabajo y Seguridad Social ha entendido que las prácticas de subcontratación de actividades de empresas como Amazon y Cabify conculcan la prohibición de cesión de trabajadores establecida por la normativa laboral. Tomando como ineludible punto de referencia&nbsp;la jurisprudencia en torno a la distinción entre contratas lícitas y cesiones ilegales, el presente trabajo analiza críticamente los principales criterios y razonamientos que habría manejado la Inspección de Trabajo para llegar a tal conclusión. El estudio contiene, asimismo, algunas consideraciones que encuadran el tema analizado en un marco más amplio de reflexión relativo a la regulación jurídico-laboral de los fenómenos de externalización de actividades&nbsp;empresariales.&nbsp;In the field of digital platforms, a new episode likely to generate a certain legal-labour debate has arisen because the Labour and Social Security Inspectorate has found that the outsourcing practices of companies such as Amazon and Cabify violate the prohibition on the supply of employees established by labour law. Taking as an unavoidable point of reference the case law on the distinction between lawful outsourcing and unlawful supply, this paper critically analyses the main criteria and reasoning that the Labour Inspectorate seems to have used to reach this conclusion. Aunque a nivel nacional parecía haberse descartado que esta medida causase alguna discriminación prohibida, el Tribunal Europeo de Justicia de la Unión Europea sí que ha declarado que esta medida es contraria a la igualdad entre hombres y mujeres. Esta sentencia europea ha provocado que recientemente el legislador español haya reformado la regulación de esa medida. No obstante, tras la reforma se siguen planteando dudas acerca de su acomodo con las pautas marcadas por la jurisprudencia europea

Tipificación jurídica del acoso moral en el trabajo

El trabajo de investigación tiene por objeto principal delimitar jurídicamente la figura del acoso moral en el trabajo. Para ello, se parte de una aproximación a este fenómeno tal y como ha sido descrito psicosociales y se exponen los argumentos que ponen sobre la mesa la necesidad de delimitar jurídicamente esta figura. La parte central del trabajo se dedica a los elementos que deberían tener en cuenta los tribunales laborales a la hora de calificar una siutación como de acoso moral en el trabajo. Así, se presta atención a la morfología de estas conductas, a los bienes jurídicos afectados por la mismas y a la determinación de algunos de los criterios que pueden ser calificados como de indicios de acoso moral en el trabajo. El trabajo se concluye con una reflexión sobre el papel que podría jugar el legislador en la caracterización jurídica del acoso moral en el trabajo

Study of different strategies of control for geostationary satellites

The aim of the study is to determine the required maneuvers to control geostationary satellites within a delimited control window. It will be done defining different strategies of control for the calculation of impulsive maneuvers to obtain optimal values which will minimize the fuel consumption and will provide an automatic control for any situation. For each implemented strategy, an algorithm will be developed. These algorithms will be applied to some relevant longitudes in order to prove that they could be used for any longitude yielding good results. El presente proyecto está orientado hacia el Desarrollo de un sistema informático para controlar los procesos de la empresa CR servicios generales SRL de Cajamarca. El informe comienza observando las cotizaciones de la empresa y la forma en que se procesan las respectivas órdenes de trabajo, Por ello, es necesario controlar la ejecución de la actividad para evitar el retraso en el proceso mencionado, por lo que en la propuesta de desarrollo de un sistema informático se pretende automatizar el proceso de cotización. Actualmente, las actividades diarias se realizan de forma manual, razón por la cual ocasiona pérdida de tiempo, pérdida de datos y retrasos en el servicio al cliente; apoyado por el método de desarrollo RUP, la empresa continúa desarrollando sistemas informáticos que darán soporte a la empresa. El propósito de desarrollar este proyecto es obtener software de alta calidad y eliminar el proceso lento, y utilizarlo para la toma de decisiones. Dual frequency master oscillator generation and distribution for ALS and ALS-U

The ongoing work to upgrade ALS to ALS-U demands strict RF requirements such as low jitter and low spurs frequency reference to meet its accelerator and science goals. A low phase noise dual frequency Master Oscillator (MO), where the two frequencies are related by a fractional ratio of 608/609 and flexible divide by four frequency outputs has been consolidated into a single chassis. Optical fiber clock distribution system has been selected over the old coax system used in ALS to distribute these signals to various clients across the facility, providing high electrical isolation between outputs and therefore lower phase errors. A Xilinx FPGA ties the MO chassis together by providing a RS-485 interface to monitor and control the system. The new system aims to deliver phase-continuous frequencies with a phase noise (integrated RMS jitter) from 1 Hz to 1 MHz of less than 200 femtosecond per output. Alegaciones nutricionales y de salud en productos dirigidos a niños por televisión en España en 2012

OBJECTIVE: To describe the use of nutrition and health claims in products directed at children via television in Spain and to analyse their nutrient profile. METHODS: A cross-sectional study of television food advertisements over 7 days in five Spanish television channels popular among children. The products were classified as core, non-core or miscellaneous, and as either healthy or less healthy, according to the United Kingdom Nutrient Profile Model. We registered all claims contained on the product (packaging and labelling) and its advertisement. We calculated the frequency distributions of health and nutrition claims. RESULTS: During the 420hours of broadcasting, 169 food products were identified, 28.5% in the dairy group and 60.9% in the non-core category. A total of 53.3% of products contained nutrition claims and 26.6% contained health claims; 62.2% of the products with claims were less healthy. Low-fat dairy products were the food category containing the highest percentage of health and nutrition claims. CONCLUSION: Over half of all food products marketed to children via television in Spain made some type of nutrition or health claim.
