    “CAPACITACIÓN EN EL MANEJO HIGIÉNICO DE ALIMENTOS AL PERSONAL DE UN SERVICIO DE ALIMENTACIÓN COLECTIVO A TRAVÉS DEL DISTINTIVO H.”

    Es de suma importancia capacitar al personal que manipula alimentos, para que de esta forma tengan las bases y fundamentos que señalan las normas que rigen nuestro país para la manipulación higiénica de los alimentos. Las enfermedades transmitidas por los alimentos son uno de los problemas de salud pública que se presentan con mayor frecuencia en la vida cotidiana de la población. Muchas de las enfermedades, tienen su origen en el acto mismo de manipular los alimentos en cualquiera de sus etapas, desde la producción hasta su consumo. El impacto en la salud pública, la contaminación de los alimentos tiene efectos económicos, sobre los establecimientos dedicados a su preparación y venta, así como de quienes contratan a empresas dedicadas a este ramo para su servicio, Si se presentan estas enfermedades en un grupo cerrado de la población, las empresas que brinden sus servicios de alimentación pierden la confiabilidad por parte del cliente. Las medidas para evitar la contaminación de los alimentos son sencillas y pueden ser aplicadas por quien quiera que los manipule, aprendiendo las reglas para su manejo higiénico, empezando por cumplir con los conocimientos teóricos que avalen dichas acciones prácticas. De ello surge la necesidad de unir esfuerzos con el manipulador, otorgando los instrumentos necesarios teórico-prácticos que permitan un mejor desempeño de sus funciones, proporcionando un servicio más profesional y sobre todo de calidad lo que contribuirá a que el rubro de alimentación industrial se sume mas a la lista de servicios de alimentación colectiva que cuenten con el Distintivo H lo que permitirá una carta de presentación probatoria por parte de los comensales, tanto por la variedad gastronómica como por la seguridad de la manipulación higiénica de los alimentos. El conocimiento sobre los alimentos y su manipulación, tiene mayor importancia a inicios del este milenio y ha hecho que sea un área cada vez mas explorada. Diversas instituciones preocupadas por el impacto social derivado de las infecciones provenientes de la mala manipulación higiénica de los alimentos han desarrollado lineamientos cada vez más exigentes en los que los establecimientos fijos que manipulan alimentos deben cumplir para de esta forma garantizar la salud, seguridad y en el caso del sector industrial la productividad. Por lo antes expuesto se plantea la siguiente pregunta de investigación ¿Cuál es el nivel de conocimientos de los manejadores de alimentos previa y post capacitación del distintivo H en el Comedor de la Empresa Manufacturera de Autopartes Eléctricas, ubicada en Toluca Estado de México

    Assessment of Sensory Processing and Executive Functions at the School: Development, Reliability, and Validity of EPYFEI-Escolar

Del Prado de Talavera de la Reina, Toledo (Spain) and CEIP Parque de las Infantas, Granada (Spain).The aim of this study was to determine the psychometric properties of the Assessment of Sensory Processing and Executive Functions at the School (EPYFEI-Escolar), a questionnaire designed to assess the sensory processing and executive functions as underlying processes for school participation. The total sample consisted of 536 children aged between 3 and 11 years old who lived in Spain. A total of 103 teachers completed the questionnaire. An exploratory factor analysis was conducted, which showed five main factors: (1) initiation, organization, execution, and supervision of the action; (2) inhibitory control; (3) sensory processing; (4) emotional self-regulation and play; and (5) self-competence. Some of these factors were similar to those found in the EPYFEI for parents in the home context. The reliability of the analysis was high, both for the whole questionnaire and for the factors it is composed of. The results provide evidence of the potential usefulness of the EPYFEI-Escolar in school contexts for determining academic needs and difficulties of children; moreover, this tool can also be used to plan intervention programs in the school environment according to the needs of each child and school.This study was supported by University of Málaga

    “Actualmente el estado de Puebla se encuentra entre las 5 entidades federativas con mayor nivel de marginación de acuerdo a datos revelados por SEDESOL. En el año 2005 el estado ocupaba el séptimo sitio con 29 municipios, y a partir de 2010 ocupa el quinto lugar con 38.2 Lo que indica que la marginación ha aumentado, convirtiéndose en una problemática latente, que afecta un importante número de población, generalmente de escasos recursos, y del ámbito rural. Chignautla es uno de los municipios que se encuentran dentro de éste parámetro, con 27 localidades de las cuales 20 que corresponde al 74.07%, tienen un grado de marginación alto.3 Una de las principales carencias que padecen las poblaciones con alto grado de marginación es la vivienda. La carencia por calidad y espacios de la vivienda afecta a un 33.5% de la población del municipio, mientras que la carencia por servicios básicos en la vivienda afecta al 45%.4 Debemos reconocer que particularmente la localidad de Tenextepec cuenta con un aproximado de 53 viviendas, y ha sido considerada con un grado alto de marginación y perteneciente al ámbito rural, por lo que los pobladores viven una situación de desventaja económica que los deja al margen de políticas sociales actuales, con condiciones de vida y de vivienda precarias que no les permiten desarrollarse plenamente.

    Tactile discrimination, praxis and cognitive impulsivity in ADHD children: A cross-sectional study

However, the pathophysiology of ADHD has also been associated with the somatosensory cortex. The aim of this study was to explore if there were differences in tactile discrimination and praxis between neurotypical and ADHD children and whether these differences could be explained by cognitive impulsivity. Methods: It was conducted a cross-sectional study. The sample comprised 74 children aged 7 to 11 years divided in two groups: 43 with neurotypical development, 31 with ADHD. To assess tactile discrimination, they were used the finger localization and the graphestesia tests. Praxis were assessed with the K-ABC hand-movement subtest, the action program and the Zoo-map subtests of the Behavioral Assessment of Dysexecutive Syndrome and the complex figure of Rey-Osterrieth test (ROCF). Cognitive impulsivity was assessed using the Magallanes Computerized Impulsivity Scale test (EMIC). Results: Children with ADHD showed greater cognitive impulsivity (p=0.038) and scored lower in Zoo-map (p=0.023), hand-movement subtests (p=0.002) and in ROCF test (p=0.004). Differences in praxis skills still remained after controlling by gender and cognitive impulsivity. Conclusion: Praxis deficit might have repercussions not only on the characterization of ADHD but also on its treatment.17pubpub

    Development and sedative effect of a new formulation of midazolam in chocolate bars

    The aim of this work was to assess the stability and sedative effect of midazolam in chocolate bars. The stability of 5 g chocolate bars containing 6 mg midazolam hydrochloride was evaluated at room temperature (25 ± 2 °C), at 4 and 40 °C, by HPLC. Drug plasma levels were measured and the sedative effect was confirmed in six healthy volunteers according to the Ramsay’s scale. Data regarding chocolate bar administration were compared to those from the apple juice solution. Pharmacokinetic data were processed using the WinNonLin 5.2 software. Midazolam in chocolate bars remained stable for 14 days at room temperature and exposed to light; for 90 days at 4 and 40 °C protected from light, and showed a longer shelf life, better flavour and appearance, inducing the same sedative effect as the apple juice preparation. Raspberry flavour masked midazolam unpleasing taste most favourably.Colegio de Farmacéuticos de la Provincia de Buenos Aire

Young stellar objects (YSOs) may undergo periods of active accretion (outbursts), during which the protostellar accretion rate is temporarily enhanced by a few orders of magnitude. Whether or not these accretion outburst YSOs possess similar dust and gas reservoirs to each other, and whether or not their dust and gas reservoirs are similar as quiescent YSOs, are issues yet to be clarified.Aims. The aim of this work is to characterize the millimeter thermal dust emission properties of a statistically significant sample of long and short duration accretion outburst YSOs (i.e., FUors and EXors) and the spectroscopically identified candidates of accretion outbursting YSOs (i.e., FUor-like objects). Methods. We have carried out extensive Submillimeter Array (SMA) observations mostly at ~225 GHz (1.33 mm) and ~272 GHz (1.10 mm), from 2008 to 2017. We covered accretion outburst YSOs located at 3σ significance. Detected sources except for the two cases of V883 Ori and NGC 2071 MM3 were observed with ~1″ angular resolution. Overall our observed targets show a systematically higher millimeter luminosity distribution than those of the M ∗ > 0.3 MClass II YSOs in the nearby (400 pc) low-mass star-forming molecular clouds (e.g., Taurus, Lupus, Upp Scorpio, and Chameleon I). In addition, at 1 mm our observed confirmed binaries or triple-system sources are systematically fainter than the rest of the sources even though their 1 mm fluxes are broadly distributed. We may have detected ∼30-60% millimeter flux variability from V2494 Cyg and V2495 Cyg, from the observations separated by approximately one year.Peer reviewe
