On the Hodge conjecture for products of certain surfaces

In this thesis we prove the Hodge conjecture for products of smooth projective surfaces S(_1) x S(_2), where S(_2) = A is an Abelian surface and S (_1) is such that P(_g)(S(_1)) = 1, q = 2. We hereby provide new examples in dimension 4 where the Hodge conjecture holds

The regulatory excess in direction of centers in Valencia

La Ley Orgánica 2/2006, de 3 de mayo, de Educación, modificada por la Ley orgánica 8/2013, de 9 de diciembre, para la Mejora de la Calidad Educativa, en su texto consolidado, subraya como factores clave transformadores del sistema educativo, la autonomía de los centros y el liderazgo de sus directores-as. Esta autonomía se ve truncada por la extensa, y a veces, complicada tarea administrativa que desarrollan las distintas normas establecidas en forma de Competencias del director-a. Esta Ley consolidada incluye una serie de normas o competencias que tienen un gran componente de carácter administrativo. Por un lado, las atribuciones diferidas en materia de educación en la Comunidad Valenciana, dan lugar a dos Decretos que establecen similar articulado en cuanto a las competencias de los directores-as. Por otro lado, encontramos el Decreto 233/1997, el cual establece el reglamento orgánico y funcional para las escuelas de educación infantil y de los colegios de educación. Balanced incomplete factorization preconditioner with pivoting

[EN] In this work we study pivoting strategies for the preconditioner presented in Bru (SIAM J Sci Comput 30(5):2302-2318, 2008) which computes the LU factorization of a matrix A. This preconditioner is based on the Inverse Sherman Morrison (ISM) decomposition [Preconditioning sparse nonsymmetric linear systems with the Sherman-Morrison formula. Bru (SIAM J Sci Comput 25(2):701-715, 2003), that using recursion formulas derived from the Sherman-Morrison formula, obtains the direct and inverse LU factors of a matrix. We present a modification of the ISM decomposition that allows for pivoting, and so the computation of preconditioners for any nonsingular matrix. While the ISM algorithm at a given step computes only a new pair of vectors, the new pivoting algorithm in the k-th step also modifies all the remaining vectors from k + 1 to n. Thus, it can be seen as a right looking version of the ISM decomposition. The results of numerical experiments with ill-conditioned and highly indefinite matrices arising from different applications show the robustness of the new algorithm, since it is able to solve problems that are not possible to solve otherwise.Open Access funding provided thanks to the CRUE-CSIC agreement with Springer Nature. Los Grupos Interactivos como respuesta inclusiva: un estudio de caso

Esta contribución analiza la idoneidad de los Grupos Interactivos como método didáctico en la atención a la diversidad en el marco de la escuela inclusiva. Desde las observaciones y entrevistas realizadas en una investigación, mostraremos como se desarrollan las sesiones de trabajo en dos aulas distintas de Educación Primaria e Infantil, así como las valoraciones que la comunidad educativa posee sobre esta nueva estrategia y sus repercusiones en el contexto escolar

Los grupos interactivos como estrategia didáctica en la atención a la diversidad

Los Grupos Interactivos como método didáctico pretenden lograr una educación de todos y para todos a partir de una agrupación heterogénea de los estudiantes. Cada grupo está supervisado por un voluntario que es el encargado de introducir la actividad, guiar al grupo y favorecer el debate. Por todo ello, la finalidad de esta estrategia consiste en que todos los alumnos, sin distinción, completen las actividades planteadas a partir del aprendizaje dialógico y la interacción entre todos los miembros. A través de esta práctica también se adquieren valores relacionados con la diversidad como la solidaridad, el compañerismo o la cooperación. Esta actuación se incluye dentro de la escuela inclusiva, y surge a partir del proyecto de transformación social y cultural del centro educativo y su entorno en Comunidades de Aprendizaje
