A LIBERDADE DE EXPRESSÃO E A DECISÃO DO SUPREMO TRIBUNAL FEDERAL NA ADI N. 4.451/2010

No presente artigo será feita uma análise da decisão do plenário do Supremo Tribunal Federal que referendou a medida cautelar concedida em juízo monocrático pelo Ministro Carlos Ayres Britto na Ação Declaratória de Inconstitucionalidade n. 4.451/2010, confirmando a suspensão da eficácia de normas contidas na Lei n. 9.504/97 que vedam o uso de montagem e trucagem na sua programação diária, bem como a emissão de opinião desfavorável a candidato ou coligação, a partir do dia 1º de julho do ano das eleições. O referendo foi dado a menos de um mês do primeiro turno das eleições gerais de 2010, nele, a maioria dos Ministros da Suprema Corte nacional consideraram a limitação legal ofensiva ao direito fundamental à liberdade de expressão.Palavras-chave: Estado Democrático de Direito. Evaluation of an Aguia Resources-Três Estradas Brazilian Phosphate Ore Using Column Flotation

To satisfy increasing domestic fertilizer demand, development of low-grade, finely liberated, phosphate deposits within South America has increased. In response to this demand, and decreasing phosphate prices, efforts are being made to maximize global phosphate recovery and grade within existing and prospective phosphate flotation circuits. Such improvements are beneficial to all phosphate operations, but are most advantageous when treating a lower grade ore where processing costs are highest, operating margins are lowest, and a near zero-waste approach is necessary. Specifically, column flotation technology has proven to greatly increase phosphate flotation selectivity and recovery during treatment of fine, minus 212-micron, and ultra-fine, minus 53-micron, igneous phosphate ores from Aguia Resources’ Três Estradas project. Using column flotation, a deep froth is maintained and washed by means of a counter-current flow of clean wash water to minimize entrainment of gangue (i.e. calcite, silica, mica, etc.). Additionally, cavitation tube spargers are utilized to produce a fine bubble dispersion to maximize total available bubble surface area and improve fine phosphate particle recovery. In reverse flotation applications, where fine calcite or silica are rendered hydrophobic, such features also improve gangue rejection and phosphate recovery. This paper details the improved flotation response of both fresh carbonatite and saprolite of carbonatite phosphate ores from the Três Estradas deposit using CavTube column flotation

Produccion y comercio del cacao en la Zona Bananera del Magdalena

Para el presente estudio se tomó la Zona Bananera como base de esta evaluación por ser el núcleo productor del departamento. Se hizo un estudio de la Sierra Nevada como área potencial para ser una de las grandes zonas productoras del cultivo de cacao en el Magdalena. Como muestra representativa se tomó un 10,6 % del área plantada y un 10,5 % de las explotaciones cacaoteras existentes en la zona bananera. Las fincas encuestadas fueron elegidas al azar a través de unos listados suministrados por el INCORA y FEDECACAO. Para la obtención de datos generales se tomó la información de instituciones y personas vinculadas, de una u otra forma, al cultivo. En la zona se observaron las siguientes características con relación al cultivo y al producto: Una baja productividad en los cultivos ocasionadas por la alta incidencia de Monilias; Una inestabilidad en la extensión del cultivo por causa de esta enfermedad; Una alta competencia existente por la compra del producto; La Sierra Nevada surge como tabla salvadora para elevar la producción del departamento en los próximos años

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE CORONAL SUTURE AND THE CENTRAL LOBE How important is it and how can we use it in surgical planning?

The surgical treatment of the lesions located in the central lobe is a very difficult task for the neurosurgeon. The overall aim of this study is to verify the correlation of the coronal suture and the structures of the central lobe in 32 cadaver hemisphere brains and the importance of this information in surgical planning. The measurement of the nasion to the coronal suture ranged from 11.5 to 13.5 cm. The distance between the coronal suture in the midline to the central, precentral and paracentral sulcus ranged from 5.0 to 6.6, 2.5 to 4.5 and 1.3 to 4.0 cm respectively. Particularly in the normal cortex these measurements can be used to guide the surgical access. However, the identification of the central sulcus is not easy when the anatomical pattern is distorted or displaced by a lesion or edema. In cases such as these the use of other tools becomes crucial for good surgical planning and cortical mapping or awake craniotomy for a safer resection of the lesion as well.66486887

Estudo de um perfil podzólico e de brunizem da zona oeste do estado do Rio de Janeiro

This work describes the study of two types of soil profiles , podzolic and brunizem . The profiles are localized at Avenida Brasil near the Cabritos viaduct in the city of Rio de Janeiro . Chemical analyses, pH values, sulfuric digestion (SiO2, Al2O3,Fe2O3, TiO2, K2O, Na2O), X-ray diffraction of the clay and silt fractions, mineralogical analyses of sand under the microscope , physical measurements of the Atterberg limits, grain size analyses and specific gravity of solids, were undertaken. The analysed soils have values of the Atterberg limits coherent with the grain size and mineralogy, and the geochemical behavior of the elements analysed is compatible with the pedogenetic processes of formation of these profiles.Este trabalho consiste do estudo químico-mineralógico e físico de dois perfis de solos; podzólico e brunizem. Os perfis estão localizados na Avenida Brasil perto do viaduto dos Cabritos na Cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Implementaram-se análises com a determinação do pH, ataque sulfúrico (SiO2, Al2O3, TiO2, K2O, Fe2O3, Na2O), análises mineralógicas na fração argila e silte por difraçào de Raios-X, mineralogia da fração areia por lupa binocular e ensaios físicos como: Limites de Atterberg, granulometria e densidade real dos grãos. Concluímos que os solos estudados possuem valores dos Limites de Atterberg coerentes com a granulometria e mineralogia. Verificou-se também que o comportamento geoquímico dos elementos analisados está de acordo com os processos pedogenéticos formadores destes perfis
