In the context of an audit on the environmental management of the water, energy and the production of residues, in a center of Secondary Education, a study has been realized on the knowledge, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors of the pupils. From the results obtained a progressive improvement of his knowledge and attitudes depending on the educational skilled level has not been deduced. The students declare themselves very aroused but his actions are not coherent with an active participation in the solution of the problems. What are the characteristics shown by those contents related to environmental issues proposed in 3rd of eso textbooks?
This study´s aim is to see how textbooks treat the environmental problems in ESO because these are frequently
used by the teachers. We start from the methodological orientations suggested by the investigation in Education
for Sustainability. We have studied those environmental problems which appear in the textbooks from 3rd course
in ESO. The study includes not only the contents, but also the illustration´s aim and the exercises. We wanted to
know if the illustrations ease the contents´ comprehension and if the proposed exercises could help in changing
the students´ values, attitudes and behaviors. The results show that textbooks could be improved and that they
treat the global environmental crisis from the traditional points of view, which means that the contents are based
on the theory, are simple and reductionis

This document is the Published version of a Published Work that appeared in final form in PLOS ONE. To access the final edited and published work see https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0263694The aim of this paper is to analize the influence of professionalization over firm’s performance and the effect of two mediating variables, risk-taking and technological innovation. A total of 310 Spanish SMEs were surveyed, and the study was conducted using partial least squares path modelling (PLS-SEM) technique. The findings showed that firm’s performance is influenced by professionalization, risk-taking and technological innovation. These effects are not only direct and positive, but there are also important indirect effects that reinforce the positive effects of professionalization on firm’s performance. This research contributes to the literature on professionalization considering mediating effects of risk-taking and technological innovation in the relationship between professionalization and firm’s performance. The results provide interesting implications for theory and practice, indicating how companies can orient their strategies with the aim of gaining competitive advantage in order to increase their performance

Strategies to reengage patients lost to follow up in HIV care in high income countries, a scoping review
Background: Despite remarkable achievements in antiretroviral therapy (ART), losses to follow-up (LTFU) might prevent the long-term success of HIV treatment and might delay the achievement of the 90-90-90 objectives. This scoping review is aimed at the description and analysis of the strategies used in high-income countries to reengage LTFU in HIV care, their implementation and impact. Methods: A scoping review was done following Arksey & O'Malley's methodological framework and recommendations from Joanna Briggs Institute. Peer reviewed articles were searched for in Pubmed, Scopus and Web of Science; and grey literature was searched for in Google and other sources of information. Documents were charted according to the information presented on LTFU, the reengagement procedures used in HIV units in high-income countries, published during the last 15 years. In addition, bibliographies of chosen articles were reviewed for additional articles. Results: Twenty-eight documents were finally included, over 80% of them published in the United States later than 2015. Database searches, phone calls and/or mail contacts were the most common strategies used to locate and track LTFU, while motivational interviews and strengths-based techniques were used most often during reengagement visits. Outcomes like tracing activities efficacy, rates of reengagement and viral load reduction were reported as outcome measures. Conclusions: This review shows a recent and growing trend in developing and implementing patient reengagement strategies in HIV care. However, most of these strategies have been implemented in the United States and little information is available for other high-income countries. The procedures used to trace and contact LTFU are similar across reviewed studies, but their impact and sustainability are widely different depending on the country studied
