Respuesta agronómica de diferentes cultivares tintos de vid en zona templada
Se presenta la respuesta varietal de 6 cultivares tintos de vid, con riego deficitario controlado, en zona cálida: Barbera, Graciano, Mencía, Pinot noir, Petit verdot y Tempranillo. Teniendo en cuenta que en zona cálida hay que escoger cultivares de ciclo largo, recolección tardía, capaces de madurar manteniendo alta la acidez real y total, se concluye que los más idóneos para su cultivo en zona cálida son Barbera, por su alta acidez y Petit verdot y Graciano por su larga maduración y acidez equilibrada. Tempranillo, si bien en este trabajo presenta una respuesta adecuada, para equivalente maduración sacarimétrica a las anteriores posee menor acidez e IPT. Bronchoscopist's perception of the quality of the single-use bronchoscope (Ambu aScope4™) in selected bronchoscopies: a multicenter study in 21 Spanish pulmonology services
Background: The disposable bronchoscope is an excellent alternative to face the problem of SARS-CoV-2 and other cross infections, but the bronchoscopist's perception of its quality has not been evaluated.
Methods: To evaluate the quality of the Ambu-aScope4 disposable bronchoscope, we carried out a cross-sectional study in 21 Spanish pulmonology services. We use a standardized questionnaire completed by the bronchoscopists at the end of each bronchoscopy. The variables were described with absolute and relative frequencies, measures of central tendency and dispersion depending on their nature. The existence of learning curves was evaluated by CUSUM analysis.
Results: The most frequent indications in 300 included bronchoscopies was bronchial aspiration in 69.3% and the median duration of these was 9.1 min. The route of entry was nasal in 47.2% and oral in 34.1%. The average score for ease of use, image, and aspiration quality was 80/100. All the planned techniques were performed in 94.9% and the bronchoscopist was satisfied in 96.6% of the bronchoscopies. They highlighted the portability and immediacy of the aScope4TM to start the procedure in 99.3%, the possibility of taking and storing images in 99.3%. The CUSUM analysis showed average scores > 70/100 from the first procedure and from the 9th procedure more than 80% of the scores exceeded the 80/100 score.
Conclusions: The aScope4™ scored well for ease of use, imaging, and aspiration. We found a learning curve with excellent scores from the 9th procedure. Bronchoscopists highlighted its portability, immediacy of use and the possibility of taking and storing images
Cosmological models with dynamical lambda in scalar-tensor theories

Effects of a moderate intake of beer on markers of hydration after exercise in the heat: a crossover study
Background:
Exercise in the heat causes important water and electrolytes losses through perspiration. Optimal rehydration is crucial to facilitate the recuperation process after exercise. The aim of our study was to examine whether a moderate beer intake as part of the rehydration has any negative effect protocol after a short but dehydrating bout of exercise in the heat.Methods:
Sixteen active male (VO2max, 56 ± 4 mL/kg/min), were included in a crossover study and performed a dehydrating exercise (≤1 h running, 60 %VO2max) twice and 3 weeks apart, in a hot laboratory setting (35 ± 1 °C, humidity 60 ± 2 %). During the two hours following the exercise bouts participants consumed either mineral water ad-libitum (W) or up to 660 ml regular beer followed by water ad-libitum (BW). Body composition, hematological and serum parameters, fluid balance and urine excretion were assessed before, after exercise and after rehydration.Results:
Body mass (BM) decreased (both ~ 2.4 %) after exercise in both trials. After rehydration, BM and fat free mass significantly increased although BM did not return to baseline levels (BM, 72.6 ± 6.7 to 73.6 ± 6.9; fat free mass, 56.9 ± 4.7 to 57.5 ± 4.5, no differences BW vs W). Beer intake did not adversely affect any measured parameter. Fluid balance and urine excretion values did not differ between the rehydration strategies.Conclusions:
After exercise and subsequent water losses, a moderate beer (regular) intake has no deleterious effects on markers of hydration in active individuals.This study was partially supported by the “Centro de Información Cerveza y Salud” (n° C-2534-00)
Bianchi {VI} in Scalar and Scalar-Tensor Cosmologies
We study several cosmological models with Bianchi \textrm{VI}
symmetries under the self-similar approach. In order to study how the
\textquotedblleft constants\textquotedblright\ and may vary, we
propose three scenarios where such constants are considered as time functions.
The first model is a perfect fluid. We find that the behavior of and
are related. If behaves as a growing time function then
is a positive decreasing time function but if is decreasing then
is negative. For this model we have found a new solution. The second model is a
scalar field, where in a phenomenological way, we consider a modification of
the Klein-Gordon equation in order to take into account the variation of .
Our third scenario is a scalar-tensor model. We find three solutions for this
models where is growing, constant or decreasing and is a positive
decreasing function or vanishes. We put special emphasis on calculating the

Dietary animal and plant protein intakes and their associations with obesity and cardio-metabolic indicators in European adolescents: The HELENA cross-sectional study
Background: Previous studies suggest that dietary protein might play a beneficial role in combating obesity and its related chronic diseases. Total, animal and plant protein intakes and their associations with anthropometry and serum biomarkers in European adolescents using one standardised methodology across European countries are not well documented. Objectives: To evaluate total, animal and plant protein intakes in European adolescents stratified by gender and age, and to investigate their associations with cardio-metabolic indicators (anthropometry and biomarkers). Methods: The current analysis included 1804 randomly selected adolescents participating in the HELENA study (conducted in 2006-2007) aged 12.5-17.5 y (47% males) who completed two non-consecutive computerised 24-h dietary recalls. Associations between animal and plant protein intakes, and anthropometry and serum biomarkers were examined with General linear Model multivariate analysis. Results: Average total protein intake exceeded the recommendations of World Health Organization and European Food Safety Authority. Mean total protein intake was 96 g/d (59% derived from animal protein). Total, animal and plant protein intakes (g/d) were significantly lower in females than in males and total and plant protein intakes were lower in younger participants (12.5-14.9 y). Protein intake was significantly lower in underweight subjects and higher in obese ones; the direction of the relationship was reversed after adjustments for body weight (g/(kg.d)). The inverse association of plant protein intakes was stronger with BMI z-score and body fat percentage (BF%) compared to animal protein intakes. Additionally, BMI and BF% were positively associated with energy percentage of animal protein. Conclusions: This sample of European adolescents appeared to have adequate total protein intake. Our findings suggest that plant protein intakes may play a role in preventing obesity among European adolescents. Further longitudinal studies are needed to investigate the potential beneficial effects observed in this study in the prevention of obesity and related chronic diseases
Negative Impacts of Human Land Use on Dung Beetle Functional Diversity
The loss of biodiversity caused by human activity is assumed to alter ecosystem
functioning. However our understanding of the magnitude of the effect of these
changes on functional diversity and their impact on the dynamics of ecological
processes is still limited. We analyzed the functional diversity of
copro-necrophagous beetles under different conditions of land use in three
Mexican biosphere reserves. In Montes Azules pastures, forest fragments and
continuous rainforest were analyzed, in Los Tuxtlas rainforest fragments of
different sizes were analyzed and in Barranca de Metztitlán two types of
xerophile scrub with different degrees of disturbance from grazing were
analyzed. We assigned dung beetle species to functional groups based on food
relocation, beetle size, daily activity period and food preferences, and as
measures of functional diversity we used estimates based on multivariate
methods. In Montes Azules functional richness was lower in the pastures than in
continuous rainforest and rainforest fragments, but fragments and continuous
forest include functionally redundant species. In small rainforest fragments
(<5 ha) in Los Tuxtlas, dung beetle functional richness was lower than in
large rainforest fragments (>20 ha). Functional evenness and functional
dispersion did not vary among habitat types or fragment size in these reserves.
In contrast, in Metztitlán, functional richness and functional dispersion
were different among the vegetation types, but differences were not related to
the degree of disturbance by grazing. More redundant species were found in
submontane than in crassicaule scrub. For the first time, a decrease in the
functional diversity in communities of copro-necrophagous beetles resulting from
changes in land use is documented, the potential implications for ecosystem
functioning are discussed and a series of variables that could improve the
evaluation of functional diversity for this biological group is proposed
