WAYANG KULIT BALI DALAM PERSIMPANGAN ZAMAN

Wayang akan tetap eksis seabadi eksistensi agama hindu dengan varien ritualitasnya. Jika ingin wayang sebagai kesenian tontonan yang tetap sfektakuler, para generasi dalang pada jaman ini di tuntut untuk melakukan inovasi, namun tetap mengakar pada nilai-nilai tradisi yang telah diwarisi. Karena struktur wayang tradisi telah digarap dengan susunan dramatik yang sangat bagus. Namun untuk mendukung eksistensi wayang pada jaman sekarang dan akan datang sangat perlu dikemas lebih menarik. Seperti menyingkat bagian-bagian struktur yang dipandang menghabiskan waktu terlalu lama. Dengan catatan tidak mentiadakannya sama sekali, sehingga tidak terkesan merusak struktur wayang yang sudah baku. Kalau terlalu jauh keluar dari konteks tradisi, dapat dipastikan wayang dengan model seperti ini akan spektakuler dan popular sesaat. Creator padalangan semestinya harus menguasai terlebih dahulu bentuk dan stuktur wayang tradisi sebagai acuan untuk memperbaharuinya. Lewat pengetahuan tradisi akan menumbuhkan inpirasi-inpirasi yang tidak terlalu jauh menyimpang dari nilai-nilai seni pewayangan yang adiluhung. Tulisan ini diharapkan mampu membangkitkan semangat kreativitas seniman dalang, sebagai wujud tanggung jawab atas pelestarian kesenian wayang yang merupakan warisan nenek moyang dan kesenian asli bangsa Indonesia. The Effect Of Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model Aided With Interactive Multimedia Upon Learning Outcome Of On-Guard Position On Pencak Silat Course

This study aimed at analyzing the effect of Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model aided with interactive multimedia upon learning outcome of on-guard position on the theory and practice of Pencak Silat course. This is a pre-experimental study using one group pretest-posttest design. This study was conducted Sport Hall of Sport and Health Faculty in Jinengdalem Campus. The amount of the sample was 25 students. The variables consisted of independent variable that was the jigsaw cooperative learning model aided with interactive multimedia and the dependent variable was the learning outcome. The data collection technique was performance test of the basic on-guard position of Pencak Silat. Data were analyzed by using nonparametric inferential statistic in form of Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test which was used to analyse the differences of pre-test and post-test scores. The research finding showed that there were significant differences of on-guard position learning outcome on the course theory and practice of Pencak Silat course before and after the implementation of jigsaw cooperative learning model aided with interactive multimedia (Z = 4.378; p = 0.000). Based on the result of Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test/Wilcoxon Match Pair Test, it was found that there was difference of on-guard position on Pencak Silat course before and after the implementation of Jigsaw cooperative learning model assisted with interactive multimedia. The after implementation/posttest mean score was (96.86) higher than before implementation/pre-test mean score (43.93) of Jigsaw cooperative learning model assisted with interactive multimedia

Plyometric stair jump and reaction box jump towards the leg muscles explosive power and straight-head kick frequency of pencak silat athletes

This study aimed at determining; 1) the different effects of leg muscle explosive power and straight-ahead kick frequency towards Pencak Silat athletes who participate in plyometric stair jump training and reaction box jump training at SMI Bali, 2) the different effects of leg muscle explosive power of Pencak Silat athletes participating in plyometric stair jump training with the athletes participating in reaction box jump training at SMI Bali, 3) the different effects of straight-ahead of Pencak athletes participating in plyometric stair jump training with the athletes participating in reaction box jump training at SMI Bali. A quasi-experimental was used as the research design of this study by adapting a non-randomized control group pretest-posttest model. The sample of this study was 45 athletes. Pre-test and post-test were used as the technique of data collection which was conducted by using a standing broad jump test as a research instrument. The collected data were analyzed quantitatively by using One-Way MANOVA. The findings indicated that: 1) there was a significant difference between the effect of leg muscle explosive power and straight-ahead kick frequency towards Pencak Silat athletes who participated in plyometric stair jump training and reaction box jump training at SMI Bali indicated by its significance value (0.000) which was less than 0.05. 2) there was a different effect of leg muscle explosive power of Pencak Silat athletes participating in plyometric stair jump training with the athletes participating in reaction box jump training at SMI Bali shown by a significant value of 0.000 which was less than 0.005, 3) there was a different effect of straight-ahead of Pencak athletes participating in plyometric stair jump training with the athletes participating in reaction box jump training at SMI Bali with a significant value 0.000 which was less than 0.00

Peranan Filosofi Wayang Kulitan Merupakan Media Komunikasi Pendidikan Moral Generasi Muda Sejak Dini

Sukses suatu bangsa dapat dilihat dari moral yang baik dalam mendidik anak sejak dini. Jika generasinya memiliki moral yang baik maka kondisi bangsa tersebut akan menjadi baik. Sebaliknya, jika moral generasinya rusak, maka rusaklah bangsa tersebut. Karena di tangan generasi mudalah  kunci perbaikan suatu bangsa. Pada era sekarang  di seluruh dunia kini sedang dikaji perlunya pendidikan moral atau pendidikan budi pekerti dibangkitkan kembali. Hal tersebut dikaji kembali oleh seluruh bangsa karena pada era sekarang ini keterkikisan moral  bukan hanya dirasakan oleh bangsa Indonesia saja tetapi juga dirasakan oleh bangsa lain di seluruh dunia. Karakter budaya kuat bangsa Indonesia adalah pengamalan dan sikap berpegang teguh atas nilai-nilai religiusitas dan moral dalam dimensi kehidupan. Pendidikan moral di masyarakat akan lebih bervariasi salah satunya melalui budaya pagelaran wayang kulit. Untuk pelajaran moral non formal sebaiknya  diberikan sejak dini terhadap generasi muda. Khususnya di Bali pelajaran moral sejak usia dini yang bersifat non formal bisa diperoleh dari pagelaran wayang kulit. Seperti salah satu contoh wayang kulitan Mahabharata ada tiga yang terkandung antara lain nilai moral terhadap diri sendiri, nilai moral terhadap sesama, dan nilai moral terhadap alam semesta. Disamping cerita dalam pewayang kulitan, tokoh dalam pewayang kulitan juga memberi pelajaran agar manusia berbuat baik seperti sifat-sifat dari karakter tokoh tersebut. Seperti di dalam cerita Mahabharata Yudistira memiliki karakter sabar dan jujur, Arjuna cerdas dan  pemberani, sedangkan  Bima memiliki karakter teguh dan tegas, Sedangkan Kresna memiliki karakter bijaksana, cerdas, dan cerdik dalam bersiasat. Didalam cerita pewayangan tokoh  memiliki karakter moral yang baik pada akhirnya akan menang dalam segala hal. Untuk itu moral dari tokoh yang baik dapat menjadi panutan bagi generasi muda untuk memiliki moral yang baik untuk salah satunya meraih sukses dalam kehidupan ini dan menang dalam segala masalah dengan bermodal moral yang baik. Namun yang harus ditumbuhkan kepada generasi muda bagaimana mereka tetap menyayangi tontonan pagelaran wayang kulit sebagai hiburan sekaligus membina moral  mereka. Mengingat kecenderungan tersebut maka  untuk menyelamatkan moral generasi muda tugas dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan untuk menumbuhkan budaya menonton kesenian wayang kulit sehingga generasi muda mengerti makna cerita pewayang kulitan dan karakter tokoh  wayang bermoral baik yang  dapat dijadikan panutan bagi generasi muda untuk membentuk moral mereka  lebih baik. Disamping itu untuk menambah minat menonton wayang kulit bagi generasi muda, pihak dalang sebaiknya menyisipkan dialog-dialog yang lucu untuk membuat suasana nyaman bagi penonton

Kamasan's puppet painting that tells the story of Prabu Kresna as Arjuna's coachman, during the Kurusetra Mahabharat war, is very suitable to be implemented in the interiors of schools, campuses, offices, libraries, and study rooms in residential buildings. Kamasan Dewi Saraswati's puppet painting is very suitable to be implemented in the interior of schools, campuses, offices, libraries and spaces used for work that are related to education. It is recommended for interior designers to make Kamasan puppet painting as an alternative as an element of decoration in the designed interior. Correlations between Age, Gender and Medical History to Colonization of Candida Albicans in Cerebrovaskular Accident Patients in Jombang

Cerebrovascular accident (CVA) is a sudden neurologic disorder that occurs due to restriction or cessation of blood flow through the arterial supply system of the brain. CVA causes paralysis, impaired consciousness, difficulty swallowing, and decreased oral hygiene resulting in oral infections. The purpose of this research is to know the description of the amount of colonization of candida albicans on CVA clients in RSUD Jombang. The design of this research is descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study were patients treated in stroke room of 40 people, selected by using simple random sampling. The result of this study found that 52.5% of CVA patients were male sex, most (50%) of respondent age was 49-59 years. History of the disease that the patient has 52.5% is hypertension. Most of the 75% is the first CVA attack. The condition of candida albicans infection may be related to gender, history of the disease and type of stroke

POLA JUMLAH TROMBOSIT PENDERITA DEWASA TERINFEKSI VIRUS DENGUE DI RSUD DR.SOETOMO SURABAYA

ABSTRACT The trend of dengue viral infection in Indonesia and several countries has changed from children to older age groups. Thrombocytopenia is a common laboratory parameter used to diagnose dengue virus infection that has the possibility to change day by day. This research was expected to improve understanding thrombocyte pattern in adult patients. This was a descriptive study with a retrospective design using medical records of Dr. Soetomo general hospital Surabaya during 2017-2018. The sample used was adult patients in the age range of 18-55 years old with Dengue Fever (DF) or Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF). The sampling technique was total sampling and obtained 62 samples. Data was analyzed using an independent t-test and Mann-Whitney. The pattern of average thrombocyte count decreased on the 3rd day till the 6th day. Entering the 7th day, it increased but did not reach the normal value. There were significant differences in the average of thrombocyte count between DF and DHF patients during the 4th day (p=0.003), 5th day (p = 0.006) and the 6th day (p= 0.014). Psidium guajava leaves are plants that have been widely used to treat health problems, such as inflammation. Guava leaves are one of the parts used in this plant. People use guava leaves because it can be reached and has minimal side effects. The aim of this study was to identify the content available in guava leaves and their bioactivity as anti-inflammatory. The design of this study uses systematic reviews. Article are taken from electronic databases such as Scopus, Pubmed, ProQuest, and Science Direct. Articles are taken from 2013 to 2019 with the keywords “phytochemical” OR “chemical” OR “compounds” AND “psidium guajava leaves” AND “anti-inflammation”. The review results of 3 articles explained that guava leaves contain ingredients that can be useful as anti-inflammatory. Guava leaves provide a great effect or benefit to inflammation
