A Set of Web Tools for Visualization Geo-Location System Performance

    Get PDF
Cílem této práce je vytvořit sadu flexibilních webových nástrojů a webové rozhraní pro vizualizaci výsledků geolokalizačního systému. Práce zahrnuje úvod do problematiky vizualizace dat v kartografii a základů zpracování obrazu. Dále obsahuje rešerši existujícíchřešení v podobě různých webových aplikací či nástrojů a shrnuje dostupné technologie. Aim of this thesis is to create a set of web tools and web user interface to present the results of geo-location system. Thesis contains introduction to theory of data visualization in cartography and basic image processing algorithms. Also there is a research of existingsolutions and tools as well as available web technologies. As a result, a library for geographic data processing and visualization was implemented and its results are shown as web map presenting geographical and statistical data. Quality of the implementation was verified and tested by user test and automated machine test with mostly positive results.

Therapeutic Down-Modulators of Staphylococcal Superantigen-Induced Inflammation and Toxic Shock

Staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB) and related superantigenic toxins are potent stimulators of the immune system and cause a variety of diseases in humans, ranging from food poisoning to toxic shock. These toxins bind directly to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II molecules on antigen-presenting cells and specific Vβ regions of T-cell receptors (TCR), resulting in hyperactivation of both monocytes/macrophages and T lymphocytes. Activated host cells produce massive amounts of proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines, activating inflammation and coagulation, causing clinical symptoms that include fever, hypotension, and shock. This review summarizes the in vitro and in vivo effects of staphylococcal superantigens, the role of pivotal mediators induced by these toxins in the pathogenic mechanisms of tissue injury, and the therapeutic agents to mitigate the toxic effects of superantigens

Pro měření self-efficacy byly použity dotazníky Myself as a learner scale a Children's self- efficacy scale. Výsledky potvrdily vztah akademické self-efficacy a školního prospěchu. Academic self-efficacy is one of the main predictors of school success, also affecting emotional experience and aspira- tional level of pupils. There were two groups of participants that were tested before the transition in April (N=321) and then after the transition in September and November (N = 169). To measure self-efficacy, Myself as a learner scale and Child's self-efficacy scale were used. We also used the Emotions connected with change inventory to measure the expectation of transition to high school. The results confirmed the relationship between academic self-efficacy and school grades. Contrary to expectations, a positive perception of change by pupils during this transition was demonstrated. The most important area for adolescents are their future classmates. The self-efficacy decline during the transition to high school has not been confirmed, while girls have a higher level of self-efficacy than boys. Students of grammar schools have a signifi- cantly higher degree of self-efficacy than secondary technical school students.
