    Context: Primary ovarian insufficiency (POI) encompasses a spectrum of premature menopause, including both primary and secondary amenorrhea. For 75% to 90% of individuals with hyper-gonadotropic hypogonadism presenting as POI, the molecular etiology is unknown.
