    This paper is intended to uncover the core issues that exist in madrasah as aroot barrier to the improvement of its quality. The results show that madrasah confronts a dilemma as an educational institution. As an educational institution, madrasah should be given broad discretion in its management, especially in the era of regional autonomy. In todays era of autonomy, one of the concepts that canbe applied to improve the quality of education is the School-Based Management (SBM). The paper argues that although madrasah is under the auspice of the Department of Religion, the concept of School-Based Management (MBS) canbe adopted by madrasah on the basis of its suitability as strategies in coping with madrasahs problems. The implementation of Madrasah-Based Management is intended to improve the quality of madrasah as an Islamic institution

    PAUD merupakan sarana bagi anak usia dini dalam menimba ilmu. Media pembelajaran sebagai sarana untuk mengenalkan berbagai ilmu pengetahuan bagi anak usia dini dan melatih motoric halus. Media pembelajaran yang baik menjadi ketertarikan anak usia dini dalam belajar. Keterbatasan media belajar menjadi masalah bagi PAUD. Pengabdian dengan membuatkan media belajar yang mampu menarik sangat dibutuhkan. Metode pelaksanaan dengan membuat disain alat peraga edukatif bermain cerdas (BCD’s) dan buku sebagai sarana pembelajaran. Hasil pemanfaatan alat peraga edukatif BCD’s sangat efektif bagi anak usia dini dengan hasil 4,6 menit untuk mengenal garis, 5 menit untuk mengenal bentuk geometri, 5,8 menit untuk mengenal angka, 11,4 menit untuk mengenal tanaman, 13,6 menit untuk penjumlahan, 14,9 menit untuk pengurangan dan 15 menit untuk menyambung huruf menjadi sebuah kata

Jika dibandingkan dengan kejiwaan pendidik, tentu saja kondisi kejiwaan seorang siswa masih dikatakan belum stabil. Dengan kata lain, Jika seorang pendidik memiliki sifat-sifat sempurna, maka murid pula akan mengikutinya. Oleh karena itu, seorang pendidik harus menjadi insan yang bertakwa serta rendah hati dan ramah agar dicintai oleh anak didik. Seorang pendidik adalah contoh teladan bagi anak didiknya itu sendiri, oleh karenaitu kepribadian positif yang harus dimiliki oleh seseorang pendidik, bagaimanapun karena sifat terpuji seseorang pendidik wajib lebih dari siswa, sebab pekerjaannya sebagai guru serta mendidik sehingga tujuan anak didik yang memiliki sifat atau kepribadian yang bertakwa kepada Allah SWT tercapai.     Performance and cost of production of fattening Uda sheep fed diets containing different energy levels in a semi-arid environment

    An experiment was conducted to determine optimum energy level for fattening Uda sheep in a semi arid environment. Twenty entire male animals with an average weight of 29kg were used in a completely randomized experimental design (CRD). The animals were fed diets containing 2200, 2400, 2600 and 2800 kcals metabolizable energy (ME) / kg of diet. The findings of the study revealed that dry matter (DM) intake and live weight gain (LWG) increased with increasing energy level (P<0.05). Beyond 200 kcals ME / kg, DM intake and LWG tended to decrease (P>0.05). Fattening animals fed diets containing 2600 and 2800 kcal ME / kg were the same (P>0.05) in terms of LWG. Cost of feed / kg LWG was lower for the animals fed diet containing 2600 kcals ME / kg. It was concluded that the optimum energy level found suitable for fattening Uda sheep in semi-arid zone was 2600 kcal ME /kg. The energy value observed from the study could be used by livestock keepers who intend to grow or fatten animals. Studies should be carried out to evaluate the energy requirement of other sheep breeds; so also mineral and vitamin requirements for growth and fattening.Keywords: Uda sheep, fattening, energy, cost, die

    Dalam hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa dari 3 level yang telah diuji diperoleh hasil bahwa pada hari 3 dan 7 tidak terdapat variabel yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kuat tekan semen, sedangkan pada hari 28 dengan variabel Bleine (tingkat kehalusan) memiliki pengaruh paling besar terhadap kuat tekan semen yaitu sebesar 0,0372 dan batas pengendalian atas untuk data kuat tekan semen tersebut sebesar 1,980 dangan rata-rata sebesar 0,899 sedangkan batas pengendalian bawah bernilai 0 (nol) sebab fungsi batas kendali tersebut merupakan fungsi kuadrat yang memungkinkan tidak adanya nilai dibawah nol atau bernilai negatif

    The aim of this paper is to provide the information to educators on hypnoteaching as one of the alternative methods that can be used to create effective learning. The effective learning is the learning that enables learners to learn easy, fun, and can achieve the learning objectives that have been set. Hypnoteaching is the learning methods in delivering the subject matter, the teacher uses the communication techniques are very persuasive and suggestive with the aim that students easily understand the subject matter. Hypnoteaching steps include: 1) intention and motivation within yourself; 2) pacing or equalize the position, gestures, language, and brain waves with others or learners; 3) leading or directing learners; 4) using positive words; giving a compliment; 6) modeling or exemplify through speech and behavior.
